I have recently moved house and chose to move my broadband with me as up until now Squirrel have been excellent and I have been very impressed with the broadband speed.
The internet was due to be connected a couple of days after I moved into the new property. Fantastic I thought. But then the problems started. The first person turned up at 8am sharp, but then had to wait until 11/12 midday to start as he was waiting on the rest of his team arriving from Hull. I am only 1hr away from Hull and they set off at 8 apparently, I’m not quite sure how they managed to make this journey last quite so long. They then pottered around outside for a bit before deciding that they could not connect the internet due to a blockage in the pipe. I was told it had been reported and I would hear the plan to get this resolved shortly.
I then heard absolutely nothing for a week and rang customer services to be told that it was still being looked at but should be all resolved within 7-10 days from it being reported. I am writing this review 5 weeks from the day it was reported. I have had to chase them time and time again for an updated just to be told that the ‘network’ are looking into it still. Absolutely no gesture of good will to keep me going without internet during this time. I wouldn’t have expected much, maybe an offer to send out a mobile broadband device I could use and then send back maybe?
To compound the issue as I have moved house I am still under my original contract and are still paying monthly for a service that I have no hope of ever being able to use. When raising this with customer service they didn’t even acknowledge it.
Absolutely ridiculous service from this company who I would have always recommended to family and friends but now I wouldn’t wish them upon my worst enemy.

The installation day came and everything was carried out efficiently, the only issue I had was we had to wait for the router to be delivered. it did come the next day but I would have preferred a complete installation carried out with the router provided on the day of installation.
The router installation was simple just plug and go and setting up all of your WiFi system was easy scan and go for anything that has a camera.

Easy experience getting ready for my home move. Both Georgia and Paul have been excellent answering my queries and getting me ready for the activation.
I've also used Squirrel in the past and had nothing but a fantastic experience and great speeds.

First Class service from Paul and team at Squirrel. I have to say they are the easiest company I've ever dealt with ISP wise. Simple phone system when calling, they answer virtually straight away with no IVR system which I love. UK based staff who get what you want without having to explain over and over, no being passed around etc. Great connection at a great price point. Sign up if they cover your area, you won't regret it.
