Easy explanation of timescale

Easy explanation of drawdown facility , fast process time , good communication, speedy delivery of both paperwork and funds staff were friendly and knowledgeable

Great communication with Standard Life

I spoke to Sam Carrol from Standard Life a few days ago regarding taking some funds from the drawdown facility. My husband passed away recently and I needed some money to go towards his funeral and a few other necessary things. She was so nice and understanding and everything went smoothly and quickly. Thank you Sam Carroll and Standard Life.

Excellent efficient and professional service and I would like to thank Sam Carroll for his quick and effective responses. The death of my husband made things very difficult for me and I’m grateful for the respect you have given me.

Competent dealing with my queries and…

Competent dealing with my queries and application for further drawdown funds. I had a problem with seeing my bank account details printed on your online form so prepared and submitted a similar proforma with the other details. Thus my bank account details were kept secure albeit I was impressed with your DocuSign option which worked very well and speedily. Thank you - a great improvement on my last application for drawdown funds!

Impressed with the communications.

On our initial call to the Drawdown Team we were informed of the time scale for any monies to reach our account. Due to commitments it had to be sooner this was due to us not understanding the time scale required for any draw down.
We were informed by Sam Carroll that Standard Life would do their best to speed things along and they certainly did, as from point of contact it only took 2 weeks for us to have the money in our account.
This was because we had great communication with Sam Carroll which leaves us being very satisfied and impressed by the service Standard Life are providing.

Better Communication Needed

The online completion of the form made the drawdown much easier. However, having been told on line I would get a call in a few days it took me to chase to then find out it had been referred to the underwriters. When I did get a call I was told it would take a few more days but took much longer before I received the documentation. From me sending it in Sam has dealt with it quickly and efficiently. Whole process has taken nearly a month.

The process is now much more…

The process is now much more straightforward than previously when I had to apply for funds via letter.
Only downside; it takes around 5 days to receive the email requesting my electronic signature.
After signature, the process is very quick.
