Since they updated their system last year the rewards number no longer exists I cannot log into my account either I was told today that after 18 months your account is deactivated. So now I have warranties on products that I don’t have access too. Their suggestion was to create a new account. I think the reason for shopping with them in the first place was the ease of having prior purchase available. I can go back to 2016 and see old receipts but my account no longer exists today. Update: So AFTER they went & put another order through (ridiculouse I know), I forwarded the invoice to them letting them know we will NOT pay for they're unauthorized transaction, they refunded us on that 2nd order & let us keep the products.
Just places an auto-delivery for lysol cleaner and got the auto-delivery confirmation however nowhere does it tell me when our FIREST DELIVERY will be delivered. Chatting 2 X's with ZERO HELP! The auto delivery isn't showing under our account dispite the confirmation, with no way of tracking the 1st delivery.
I was charged for an order they canceled and they won't process a refund!!!
I placed an online order for same day pickup of an HP Laser toner cartridge and when I went to the store my order "couldn't be found in their system" and they later canceled my online order and charged my credit card for it the day after they canceled it. They now refuse to refund my money and tell me I have to dispute it with my credit card company. This is a horrible company and their customer service staff are equally horrific. Stay away!!!!!

Staples knows how to turn a good day into bad. I ordered (#9924493157) a Brother printer for my homework. They sent it a few days later, but shipped it back because my address was wrong. No it wasn’t. It was awful trying to fix this because at every click of the mouse, the company pumps ads from every direction. I finally got an email saying it would be redelivered and was notified it was on my porch. No, it wasn’t. It was returned. Back in the barrel, same frustration. The email said it will arrive today. Nope. I’m stuck. The BROTHER HL L2400D is $10 cheaper at Walmart. I ordered two printers from Staples, my first and my last. My name is Lou and I stand by all of my reviews.

32780-Shasta was very helpful in assisting me with an Amazon return. She patiently answered my questions regarding a shipping lable. As I patiently waited for Shasta to finish assisting a customer who was there before me, a line starting to accumulate. GM "Lucy"walked up and began helping customers who were behind me. She started asking me questions and giving instructions. Her tone was rude and she seemed annoyed. There was no reason for her to even be speaking to me. Shasta was already taking care of the situation.The pleasant energy of my experiencre changed when Lucy came to check out customers as I stood waiting for the return lable to print. It seemed as though Lucy was trying to embarass me in front of the other customers with her tone. I want to say that Shasta was very helpful. Lucy, on the other hand, was rude and quite annoying. Once the receipt printed, Lucy firmly laid my receipt on the counter and push it towards me. Obviously, she is another example of why good Customer Service has declined.

I have to say, it was enlightening to speak to a professional, however besides that a person that takes Pride in his work & company.
You can always tell when someone wants to just get rid of you, always in a rush and not listening to your needs.
I think that most Negative reviews are because the customer is always in a hurry & the information given to the representative. That’s why there’s goofs ups, & negative reviews.
Ray is about the rest in most companies I have dealings with. He’s an asset in the truest meaning of the word.

A box of ink was delivered with a charge to my cc on 8/2/24 and 2 invoices indicating a furniture purchase with another persons name and company. I looked up my Staples account and the last time ink was purchased was 2022. I went to the store in Lake Worth, TX where eventually Steve the GM was called to take care of the issue. He called corporate and was transferred around. I told him I would go home and print up the cc charge. I called and a person refused to ID themselves after I asked 3 times what their name was. Then I asked to speak to a manager. I was put on hold for 7 minutes when I hung up and called back. Several more calls with no resolutions. No one seemed to know when or if Steve would return. On 8/16 I again went to the store and the only person available to help was Austin who went above and beyond refunding my account. He also informed me that my cc was used in June in the print dept. I advised that I have no need to use the print dept as I have my own equipment. I have canceled my cc. I called Steve to let him know that Austin did a great job which he seemed to give less than a damn. He also told me that my card had to have been swiped to be charged. Steve, I'm not that stupid as a skimmer might have been used or other deceptive means of using my cc. I won't be going back.
GREAT SERVICE
The old computer went on the fritz so I went to the Staples in Bowie. Two gentlemen Zac and Naraj showed me a laptop set it up and explained how to use it. Laptop is great. I'd highly recommend Staples especially with Zac and Naraj. Both are professional and walked a newbie like myself through everything. Very pleased.
Delivery Nightmare
So much went wrong. Let's start with the basics, they're website lies and says "available next day" so on July 9th we order the items (3 two-shelve bookcases) and a few days later get an email saying the item is "unavailable but will deliver as soon as it becomes available". Great, thanks. Then I keep getting emails saying the items delivered. Well, I'm at the front desk so no, they did not deliver. I call and call keep trying to get updates then FINALLY on 7/24 I speak to someone who says "they'll deliver Thursday, 7/25", they didn't deliver on Thursday. I call Friday, 7/26 and speak with someone who then says the package arrived at the freight carrier and it will deliver Monday, 7/29, nope again. I call Monday and they INSIST it will deliver Tuesday, 7/30. Well, it delivered however I received the email it delivered an hour and twenty minutes after it had been placed at the front door of our office building. The freight carrier just left the shrink-wrapped PALLET out in front of the front door to our office building. Never again will I order for our company from here. And if I'm asked to order from here again, I'm delegating the task to someone else.

Staples in Greer SC has an employee named “Salem” who took my return from Amazon. Salem needs to be retrained in customer service. She didn’t speak during the return and was generally unfriendly.
Paid for a service that was not provided - No refund offered
I recently placed a print order at store number 1027 and paid an additional $6.50 for expedited service. The order was supposed to be completed by noon, but I wasn't notified until 1:30 pm that it was ready. When I asked the assistant in the print department to refund the extra charge, I was informed that he had completed the order by noon but had failed to update the system.
However, when I called the store at 12:30 pm, I was told that the assistant had just arrived and was reviewing orders. I wasn't given the option to speak to the print department directly. The assistant even admitted that he didn't arrive until noon, making it impossible for the order to have been done on time.
Staples should not offer services they cannot fulfill. I am very disappointed with this experience, and it is unlikely that I will use Staples for print services again.
Misleading In-store Advertising
Bought paper at the in-store advertised price of 4.99 but was charged 6.99 at checkout, Clerk cited very small print about other requirements. This is false advertising by Staples!

Staples Lied & Then Charged Me Twice for a Cancelled Order
I ordered a printer from Staples because associate said I was getting 2 months of free tech service. Minutes later I received an email receipt and they charged me for the "free" tech service. I cancelled the order and immediately received an email confirming cancellation. The next day, Staples charged me TWICE for the cancelled printer totaling $468.58 and both charges posted the following day. Staples froze $468.58 of my own money which I could not use to pay my bills. Seven days later I received one credit and they still owe me $234.29. This is fraud.

I had a horrible experience of ordering from Staples.com online. I placed the order over an weekend and hoped that I would get the delivery in the middle of next week when to my utter disappointed the items didn't arrive throughout the week and by the time of writing this review I am still waiting for the delivery. Their customer service department is non existant as I had to stay on the phone lne for hours before geiing hold of them and then also they were unable to provide any meaningful help or to be able to expediate the delivery process. Never again from this disgusting company.

I was actually coming in to speak with a manager about my invoices that I had ordered from the printing dept. It was placed wrong. I was more mad about when receiving the invoices. They usually come wrapped in plastic you can see your prints. This time it was different they were opened and had a piece of cardboard on top and bottom. The invoice I wanted ordered was on top. I assumed that's what both pkgs were. Nooooo. I was more upset because no one took responsibility. Anyways so its a 1 in printing dept. But 5 stars with the manager kenna who handled my complaint. She belived,listened,apologized ,satisfied and thanked me. Thank you Kenna great customer service. I just want my experience to be shared with the team in printing.
John saves the day!
I went into the Orem Utah Staples Print shop yesterday dejected. I was tasked with making business cards for African dignitaries who would be meeting the governor the next day. I had been to 3 print shops before staples and had been told it would take at least 1 day which would be too late. When I entered John, a kind, knowledgeable young man, greeted me with a smile and a solution. Not only did the cards turn out beautifully but John did it in an hour and a half. He also fixed a formatting error and made sure I wasn't over charged. He saved the day and I will never forget this experience.
