StarClinch an online marketplace that has revolutionized the entire process of finding and booking an artist for an event. Along with that, it has also made it easier for artists across India, to get hired for showcasing their talents, while being compensated aptly for it. There are 14 major categories on the website namely, Live Band, Singer, DJ, Comedian, Anchor/Emcee, Photo/Videographer, Model, Celebrity Appearance, Instrumentalist, Dancer/Troupe, Make-Up Artist/Stylist, Magician, Speaker, Variety Artist. These categories are further divided into sub-categories, which helps prospective clients in narrowing down on their choice of artist(s). Other than sub-categories, there are other filters which can be utilized to shortlist artists as per the need. These filters are location of the artist, budget of the event, event type, number of performing members, gender of the artist, and language(s) proficiency of the artist. Clients, looking for artists, can shortlist up to 5 artists, for requesting “Booking Fee” quotation. Client can do it by filling up a simple quotation form, which can be either be accessed from “Artist Profile” page or “Post Your Requirement” link in the top navigation menu on the website.
