First trip in a campervan, travelled the Nc500 and Skye, best trip of our lifetime, the girls were 1st class and the van was absolutely perfect, can’t wait to travel more and the freedom it gives you we don’t want to go back to a hotel, thank you staycation Scotland

Vivienne was perfect for the NC500. The perfect size for the roads, comfortable, stylish, well kitted out, and fairly economical. Friendly and helpful staff on pickup and return, and the site is easy to find.

We had an amazing time exploring Scotland in Celine the van. Facilities were second to none, absolutely stunning! Jules and staff were knowledgeable and answered all questions as well as giving suggestions of places to visit. Thank you Staycation, we will be back !

As for staycation, they were amazing nothing seemed too much trouble they were happy to take a call and sort out any problems that you might have on the road. Being a total novice to this helps me greatly you can tell they are a family-run business they put 150% in you having a great trip away and seem more excited that you have a great experience and that's what we had we end up extending Ower trip by 3 day more and agen staycation were so helpful and happy to do this for us .

I can't recommend this company more and would like to say thank you to everyone that made my bucket list experience so great we will 100% be hiring from Staycation again and can't wait

We had the best time exploring Scotland in Vivienne the VW! So easy to set up and go, as first time campers this was essential. Any questions we had along the way were answered quickly. Absolutely recommend booking a van through Staycation Scotland, the van was packed with all the essentials you needed including little extras like coffee and a drink to enjoy once you’d settled in for the night. We will be back!

Jules and her team went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect - providing advice, staying in touch and promptly answering any queries we had. We hired Carrie for 12 days to drive around Skye and the NC500 and we have had the most amazing time. We can't recommend Staycation Scotland enough - the team had thought of everything and made our trip effortless! We felt they would have been on call 24/7 for us but as they had already thought of everything and the vans are new we didn't have any issues! Thank you Staycation team!

Gorgeous van - felt really luxurious inside and was a dream to drive. We had such a fun weekend and Staycation Scotland were extremely easy to deal with and very helpful when we had to contact them out of hours with a question. Would highly recommend this company and their campervans.

Just back from a great trip to the west coast! 'Daphne' kept us warm and comfortable through a couple of cold November nights and the van was equipped with everything we needed, not least beer and coffee. Jules and the team provided excellent service throughout - from booking, to guidance on places to visit and a full run through of how to use the van before we set off.

Couldn't fault a thing and already looking forward to our next trip!

I am a repeat customer to Staycation Scotland Campers. The vans are very well equipped with all that you would need for your stay. We like to hire bedding from Staycation too as it's one less thing to think about. All the vans we have hired have always been clean and well presented for our arrival ready for us to start our adventure. The team at Staycation are welcoming, knowledgable and super helpful should you need them during your stay. I can't wait to go back.

We had a pleasant trip at the end of October with our two young children, the vans are very well equipped and there is so much to explore in Scotland. However, a number of things were unavailable to us for the duration of our hire; we had no central heating (we reported this on the first day and were sent a YouTube video to watch to learn how to reset the heating system, however the same issue kept happening everyday), luckily it wasn't freezing but it was definitely chilly at night. We had no WiFi for the duration of our hire either (the SIM card was missing), no resolution was provided so we had to max out our data on our phones. I believe a welcome pack was also meant to be provided in the van but we never found this. For the price of the hire, I definitely feel these things should be checked in between customers, especially essential things like the heating. We asked if we could hand the van back slightly later than 11am (even an hour) but were told no. After the issues we'd had, I assumed they would have been more accommodating. Overall we enjoyed our week and the vans are great, just make sure you check everything is working before you set off.

I knew we were going to have brill time out in Ivy and she didn't disappoint. We'd actually booked to visit during covid but we had to cancel so this trip was a long time coming!

First time in a VW Camper van. Won’t be our last, much in thanks to team at Staycation Scotland. Very straight forward to book and provide required information. Staff also very friendly, helpful and communicative.

Our van was equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable trip and surprisingly spacious. Will definitely be back.

We hired Flora for 3 nights. The van was also very well equipped spotlessly clean too. We were given instructions how to put the bed up and down and shown physically which was very helpful, she also ran through all other amenities in the van and how to use them, by Caitlyn who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. From start to finish it was a very enjoyable experience. Definitely would recommend this company to family and friends as all their vans are lovely and new.

We loved the freedom and provision the camper vans offer. We had everything we needed and the compact size of the vans allowed us to travel on single track roads. Penelope was the right size for the three of us with the bench seat up front. Some wild camping and some campsite camping rounded out our trip. Thx to all for your contribution to a fabulous holiday.
