Hi I decided to try staysharp as recommended to me by a friend. I was stuck on a last AAT level 2 modules. Although I bought a bpp book but was unable to keep focused. Their videos and learning is very systematic and found it helpful. Pausing subscription and cancelling is quite easy as well as done straight from my account tab.

Pros:
1. The materials offered are extremely comprehensive. The BPP study products gives you that extra reassurance that you are using high quality and up to date materials.
2. The bite size lectures are perfect and it makes it easier to re-visit a specific area of the syllabus compared to competitors who have long 45 to 50 mins videos on a chapter which can be boring.
3. I'm currently doing the Financial Reporting (ACCA) paper and I found that the tutors are very concise and to the point. They simplify a lot of the complicated concepts. You get the feeling that they are interacting with you.
4. Customer support is great. They reply to you within minutes which is very reassuring.
5. I'm still on a trial period but I've received an email from StaySharp stating that they will be reducing the monthly fee from £60 to £40, which I think is very reasonable considering the rise in cost of living.
Cons
1. The website and the layout of the platform is not great unfortunately. It's not very user friendly and navigating from one lecture to the next can be a bit of pain.
2. Competitors like "exp" have a more user friendly platform however the content of StaySharp is better.
3. The digital textbook and revisions is not the best to navigate through.
Overall if StaySharp were to provide a more user friendly platform and also where student can track their own progress until exam day, then StaySharp could end up being the best ACCA online provider.

Overall good experience. Only thing i would suggest is to add CIMA to the accountancy packages and remote tutor support. Very cost effective as compared to the online courses being provided by bpp itself.

I believe that Staysharp covers all the aspects of syllabus. Their tutors are also explaining well. However, I believe that they could be better by describing in the way that attracts the students rather than making them bored.
And I think the monthly subscription fee is very expensive.

Great way to study offering flexibility and convenience. You choose when and how you study with access to all course material on the go
I’m happy with the course. I like to self study as I can’t stand going to a lecture class and concentrate but I need a bit of guidance so these short classes help me bridge the gap up on areas where studying alone isn’t enough. I mainly joined so I can ask academic questions on activities and subjects that I was stuck in and it’s way easier asking a question online than spending 4 times the amount of time draining my energy to figure it out. The monthly fee is affordable so that helps

This is the best Acca learning provider I have seen so far because of the quality of their lessons which is precise and detailed.
The website is a lot quite easy to follow through and surely I have found the right place for learning and completing my Acca professional training.

I have tried a few subscription based AAT learning platforms and found Staysharp to be far superior to others.
I found that there was a lot of content for the module that I studied and the videos are very informative. There are also helpful debrief videos of each chapter to ensure you understand the important focuses of each chapter. The site is easy to navigate and the subscription is reasonably priced.

Needed extra support with a particular module. Good resources with plenty of practice assessments. Video lectures are of good quality and the subject is clearly explained, using good examples.
Navigation back to the course content could be improved.

I used StaySharp and found that the materials offered were extremely comprehensive and based on the BPP textbook, which is the most comprehensive learning text for ACCA topics in my experience.
There were plenty of checkpoints with question practice etc.
I have used a competitor product regularly in the past, and although staysharp is more expensive, the lectures were noticeably better quality and worked examples were more thorough. Staysharp felt much closer to online lectures with the added ease of being on-demand, whereas the competitor product felt more like an online video textbook.
Customer service were also great when I had some billing issues - they responded quickly and left me with a very satisfactory result.
The only thing of note that I thought could use improvement was the design of the UI and website.
When you have finished a video and return to the homepage, it is not an efficient process having to re-find the section that you were just in previously. In my opinion this needs a rethink. Whether the website can save your last used position, or the homepage can by default open up the area of the syllabus that your next video will be in I do not know, but both would be better than the current system.
I unfortunately only signed up for the free trial as I found the StaySharp website very close to my exam date. If the exam has not gone as well as I hope it has, I will definitely consider using the service again; this time for a full 3 month prepatory period.

Good resources. I think the website could be more fluid though. For example, when you watch a video, once the video is over you have to return to the dashboard but you have to find which area you were studying again. It's a little tedious. It would be better if you could just press a next button and go straight to the next video in the unit.
So learning material great.
User interface needs a little work.
Thanks

So far so good, I’ve done really well on my three assessments so far! They reply really fast if you have any queries! Really nicely laid out. Can’t wait to get onto the next level!

The bpp ladder I've used before, but the constant few minute videos are annoying, can you not press 1 button to run them all in a step

Reply from StaySharp
The only negative I will say is there should be a way of going back to the particular chapter or screen after watching the videos and not the whole menu.If this can be done it will earn my 5stars

StaySharp has excellent resources for AAT & ACCA. I would highly recommend to use StaySharp if you were a distant learner or needed extra support. There are multiple videos and question banks to help see where you are with your studying and a great resource.
