This interview course took place online this year. I thought it all worked very well, using an interactive whiteboard to share our work with the tutor, who screenshared the workings to the rest of the group. The tutors are friendly, and helped very well in guiding us towards answers during practice interview questions (in the same way that I assume will happen in the real interview, should we get one). I feel a little more confident in my ability to perform at interview now, and have been given some useful comments (to do with methods of graph sketching and laying out my work). My favourite part was my own mock interview, but it was also great to see how everybody else tackled the questions, helping me to potentially adapt my own thought process.

I attended the Computer Science interview course on Zoom and it was just great. There weren’t too many students so we all had super constructive feedback. It was catered to us and I haven’t seen any other company offering such specific practice on both maths and personal statement questions. I definitely recommend it (PS: the CTMUA prep course was amazing too).

Excellent experience and great advice from tutors

This course really provides questions that mimics the styles of problems presented at interview as well as providing adequate help to solve the question, should you become stuck. The tutor is very helpful in guiding students towards the right answer using their existing knowledge in spite of these challenging questions.

Having an opportunity to practice answering interview style questions in a pressured environment really helped to boost my confidence in working in the unusual conditions of an interview. Chris was a brilliant interviewer, and the feedback was very helpful.

The tutors were highly experienced and able to give helpful prompts for me to progress, as well as put the situation in a way that makes the method clear. I highly recommend them for preparation for mathematical programs in competitive universities.

I think the way the feedback was included into the course for every lesson was really good. It helped adjust the course to the individual. Also really found the tutors very helpful.

The course was absolutely fantastic. The tutors were amazing and the interactivity made it really helpful to progress.

I took the October MAT course right before I wrote the MAT exam, because I wanted to improve by problem solving skills as well as get more practice for solving MAT-style problems. And for this goal, I think this course has been an absolute success for me.

I really like and enjoy this course as the teaching is thorough and the tutors work with you to help you reach solutions yourself rather than spoon-feeding you what you need to know, which overall makes the course very helpful for improving your skills in the MAT or STEP. I liked the fact that it was online, personally, as I find going into breakout rooms to work on problems individually, before then going through it with everyone, helps me to learn the best. The course content was mostly very interesting (a few questions maybe weren't quite as challenging as others), and I would recommend it to anyone interested in sitting these exams who isn't sure where to start. All in all, a great course!

This 4-day intense course is very useful because it covers many topics and for each topic there are two or more challenging questions. I liked the use of the breakout rooms because it's easier to follow, understand better and participate more. Each questions were explained clearly and slowly and so I understood almost everything. I also liked that at the start of each question there was the section of "background theory" because it was helpful for the question and you learn new general knowledge.

The tutors were friendly and very helpful. I found their explanations useful, even when I did not understand the question, as I learnt how I could approach the question in another way. I have gained more confidence in approaching STEP questions without using hints. The course content built on my A-level Maths knowledge, so I was able to access all of the questions. I will definitely be applying the skills I have gained from the course to A-level Maths and Further Maths questions as well as STEP. I did not feel that there would be much difference between an online or in person course, as the tutors gave clear explanations. I would do another course with the Oxbridge Formula and I highly recommend this course for any student looking to sit STEP or MAT.

The course was very useful for getting confident on challenging question types. I learnt many effective methods throughout the course which can be applied to all types of questions. The tutors are also very helping and clear in their explanations.

Attending the MAT October course was very useful. It gave me the opportunity to talk to tutors about questions, and helped to increase my mathematical thinking as they would hint to where I needed to go to solve a problem if I was stuck. I also learnt lots of useful general theory and techniques which I can use on a range of maths questions.

Really good course - challenging, useful, well structured and helpful tutors.

Really really good! The explanations are super in depth and the questions are broken down into lots of smaller steps and logical explanations so you know how to use what you learn for other questions. The tutors are amazing and help you to adjust from A level style questions to STEP or MAT, meaning you can approach the questions confidently. Absolutely feel so much more confident going forward to do the STEP exams and the MAT preparation was amazing, definitely helped me so much in getting an offer from Oxford :)

The Oxbridge Formula is a wonderful online resource to help with preparing for your Admission tests. Admission tests are significantly different from A-level studies and the questions that appear really test your ability to think critically and analytically in a more scientific manner than usual. The Oxbridge Formula teaches and guides you through useful theory that you may encounter during your tests that stand in stark contrast to that you may meet in A level. The videos are very engaging and the tutors allow you to see their thought process, helping in a students ability to thinking scientifically. What stood out to me the most is the variety of the courses on offer, so whatever your financial situation may be, The Oxbridge Formula still offers the best of resources and practice questions allowing you to prepare to the best of your ability, and therefore I recommend this course to anyone who has the will and determination to succeed and ace their admissions tests! The PAT focuses more on the mathematical derivations from physics and how to apply your knowledge in certain situations, The Oxbridge Formula is particularly good for this as their bank of practice questions are specifically designed for the PAT which enhances your ability to solve problems in a more fluent method. The PAT, I find, also makes your A levels easier as you have encountered much more information and knowledge from this process that everything else in A level becomes slightly more easier!

The course is helpful in improving your time keeping skills. The mock papers were very helpful in understanding where improvement was needed and knowing where what shape you were in for the NSAA at that time.

The courses are really wells structured with well written practise questions/mock papers. The tutors were very useful in terms of explaining each and every question, even if only
a few didn't understand it, which is great. For the ENGAA specifically, it was great that they wrote original mock papers, because there are very few past papers for the new format. The mock papers were very similar to real papers too, in terms of format, questions etc.
