Especially considering I’m quick to get testy when I hit an issue. Customer service is during business hours. If I drop off they always follow up to make sure the problem isn’t solved.
Switched over to Stessa recently.....
Switched over to Stessa recently to manage our rental property. I used Stessa previously for expense tracking and the platform is great for that. I canceled a competitor for expense tracking and rent collection recently and went fully Stessa. Big mistake. First time tenants made a payment and my tenant made a mistake paying with a DEBIT card. She got charged 3%. This hurts a senior citizen. I am not mad over the 3% charge. I am mad because it is hard to get a hold of Stessa. The customer service chat is horrible. Robot responses. This fee was a mistake from a senior citizen. She can absolutely add bank and routing number. This was a mistake that Stessa refuses to help a customer with. Second guessing switching to Stessa now. Bad customer service from them is reflected on me as a landlord and I can not put up with that

Horrible Platform & Customer Service
Absolutely the worst platform. There is no way to go back to correct any errors, and when I try to contact someone for help, it made me pay a fee to schedule a call. The next available slot for my “15 min” call is next week. I will be dropping the subscription and letting everyone I know that is involved with real estate know not to use Stessa.

Great if you don't need any customer support, horrible if you do
I've been using Stessa about 2 years now. I really liked their simple, intuitive interface. The reporting was great, they even put together a Schedule E for you. HOWEVER - about 2 months ago the bank connection that I set up 2 years ago broke. I didn't change anything, it just stopped syncing transactions. Now I understand sometimes things break in the world of software APIs, etc, so it breaking wasn't a big deal. The complete lack of customer support was. I am paying for the "pro" subscription, and still customer support treats me like an afterthought. When someone finally responds to my requests for help, it's met with "oh well, could take months to fix" kind of responses. Absolutely ludicrous to be treated this way as a paying customer! Suffice to say I reached the end of my rope and am actively looking for an alternative now.

Horrible Company
Horrible Company. They advertise that for $35/month you can call and get help. What you have to do is schedule a time. When you go to do that, more often than not, you find all the appointments are taken for 30 days out. They may be cheap. Maybe their software is good (i wouldn't know), but they could care less about their customers. Pay more and go somewhere else.

I have used Stessa for the past 5…
I have used Stessa for the past 5 years. Their software its constantly changing and the customer service for questions and help is almost non-existent. As of today, I can not input rent collections. I have sent them questions over there AI chat but no one has responded. The price keeps going up and I am willing to pay it IF the customer service was better. When you have 5 years invested in a company and this happens it is very irritating.

Used to be great. Now not so much.
I’ve been using this app for 3-4 years and I used to love it. Did an amazing job managing expensive and reconciling bank transactions making tax season an absolute breeeeze. I think they got bought or recently or something because now bank connections break and when you reconnect ALL prior history is lost which defeats the purpose.
Not great. And support was a 1 out of 10 with helpfulness to fix it.

Value verse price doesn't compare
Web site states they will provide financial checks for potential tenants. Their top package is $49.00 but you don't get financial check. They state it is an add on but there is no place to choose the add on. Besides, $49.00 is way too much for the little value they provide. I recommend finding another service.
