Disappointing
Disappointing. I bought from them 3 years ago and was very impressed (and left a glowing review) so, when I wanted to buy a R/C Car for a grandchild, I naturally chose them (support local business etc). I checked online that the car was in stock and phoned to confirm, reserve and pay for one to collect the next day but was told there was absolutely no need as they had plenty. I also asked about a couple of spare batteries and, again, was assured they had plenty.
I called in the following morning and was asked if there was one put to one side with my name on. I told him about the phone call and his response was that, if I had spoken to him, he would have reserved one but he wasn’t certain that they actually had any. He managed to find one which I bought. I asked for a couple of extra batteries and was told, after rooting round in a drawer, that they definitely didn’t have any. It seems strange for what is also an online business, that they don’t seem to have any computer based inventory accessible within the shop.
