Equipment seems well made

Equipment seems well made, durable and good value.
Took ages to arrive though - the slow boat from China!
It was also advertised with a 5 year warranty, but on registering the product it appears to be only two years

Easy on line purchase

Easy on line purchase. Quality product, excellent instructions, and as we have had it a while, it has proven to be very reliable, and importantly a very good cut. Highly recommended.

worst ride on mower I have owned , very poor reliability, it's had around 4 x starter solenoids , (2 x batteries which is fine , general wear and tear ).

It's had 2 x clutches- rubbish quality ! , umpteen idlers and pulleys and belts , I gave up dealing with Stiga as their aftercare is useless , ie Stiga.com do not want to fix customers machines when they go wrong ,sorry but there are things called gesture of goodwill when your machine is out of warranty, gesture of goodwill is not in Stigas dictionary.

I have never owned such an unreliable mower , I think their parts on the machine are either poor quality or their actual quality control process is poor or both ! lol.

I am about to purchase a brand new machine , My current Machine , Stiga 3084H is only 6 years old , in fairness it feels like a 12 year old machine , it is absolute trash .

I'm not sure if anyone else experienced same issues with machine quality and poor Stiga customer relations but please please do your research, pay a little more and buy a machine with miles better reviews and customer service , there are plenty more manufacturers way better than Stiga out there .

I know where my next ride on mower purchase won't be with - STIGA !!!:)

We would like to clarify that approximately one year ago, following discussions with our aftersales team, a proposal was made to replace certain components at our cost should further issues arise, despite the machine being out of warranty. Unfortunately, we did not receive any further contact from you after that point, and we regret if this led to the impression that your case was no longer being supported.

We are truly sorry that your overall experience with both the product and our aftersales service did not meet your expectations.

Poor customer service, & poor website experience.

I purchased two products from an independent retailer, and was advised to register the guarantee as soon as possible. What an inconvenient nightmare of an experience! Despite entering the serial number correctly, their system did not recognise one item. I used the alternative method suggested from the drop-down menu, and again there wasn't even an entry for the item. I then followed the third option of taking a photograph of the serial number plate. Twice their system claimed that the single photograph was too large. I then had to crop the photograph until it was tiny, before it was eventually accepted. Despite registering both products, I did not receive an automated confirmation, as is usual with other tool retailers. I, therefore, wrote to Stiga's customer service team, with no response. I'm beginning to feel that I've made a mistake not sticking with Ryobi. First impressions are everything, and so far, I find both their website and customer service to be exceptionally poor.

I would confirm that Stiga have now replied, as I discovered the email in my junk folder.

Fast and efficient service.

I placed my order and within a couple of days I received a phone call to arrange a delivery of my mower.Far quicker than I expected for such a large item.

New purchase

Only purchased the lawnmower recently, and because of the time of year, December, have not really had a chance to use it, other than just a short test. Decided to go for the Mountfield self-propelled model, as it is to be used by several differeent people on an allotment site, each tenant being responsible for keeping grassy sections of their plots in good, tidy condition, and we believe that the Mountfield brand will provide the quality we need
