Exemplorary Customer Services - Refunded Without Too Much Drama :)
My elderly, disabled mother purchased a mobility chair from Stollers (as a special order) and paid a deposit of over £900.
My mother had not consulted me before placing the order, and I subsequently determined — some two weeks later — that the chair she had chosen was not ideal for her needs, although it was functional. Stollers had not technically done anything wrong in selling it to her.
After a little back and forth over the course of 24 hours, Stollers agreed to refund my mother in full and to take the special-order piece into stock.
That deserves recognition, which is why I wanted to leave this review.

I don’t often write reviews but I need to make sure this review reaches the owners / managers of stollers.
I am a first time mum with a 5.5 month old baby, and I don’t get out often due to lack of sleep. Today I decided to make my way to stollers for a solo coffee and some food.
The ladies who worked there (one had blonde hair, I want to say Mel but I am unsure. She works Wednesday - Saturday) was so attentive, coming to say hello to my baby, helping me when I needed to pack up and making my baby laugh. Although I was alone, they made me feel so comfortable and I genuinely had such a lovely time. The food was lovely too, and came really quickly.
There was also a woman whose baby was unhappy, and she went over and offered to comfort him whilst the lady enjoyed her time with her friend
For mums, this is the perfect coffee place. I highly recommend and I can’t wait to go again!
lovely chair
I went with no clear idea of what I wanted, but Tom Muray was great. He steered me to a chair which was just what I needed. Gave us a delivery date in December, guaranteed before Christmas which was fine, but it actually came four weeks before Christmas, in time for my birthday, a lovely surprise. There is also a great cafe on site
Dreadful company to deal with
Ordered a large Sofa, Armchair and footstool from Stollers. Was told 12 weeks for delivery. 1 week after received a call to say they couldn’t do the armchair in the material we requested and was told we could have. Told them to cancel the order and was advised would lose 50% as I’d paid upfront. Went in and the receptionist listened and although no managers available spoke to her supervisor and gave me a refund of the full amount. Looked online and found the same furniture for £500 less elsewhere. 4 weeks later and it’s all delivered. The assistant was uninformed and when we went to buy from stollers left feeling very underwhelmed by the awful service. Suffice to say we won’t ever go back. PS the clock you sell for £265 we found also for £170 elsewhere. Trading on previous goodwill from customers. You really need to up your game!!
Shocking Experience
Used Stollers quite often previously but really poor now once they have your money no interest in customer service. We ordered a sofa from them took nearly a year to deliver asked for money back and were refused and may an offered a voucher for their own cafe. Please don't use this company.
First Class Service
Very friendly staff, not pushy at all.
Very knowledgeable about the products they sell.
Items are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and you certainly are buying a good product.
Once again was in there yesterday bought an amazing living room light fantastic design.
Bought a lot of our furniture from stollers.
Huge variety of furniture for every room in the house or even the garden.
Highly recommend this local store.
I have been a customer for 10 years
I have been a customer for 10 years, buying various items for my holiday let business. The customer service has always been exceptional, especially from Paul Kerr who understands my business needs and my tastes. I love the range of furniture from traditional to very modern.
Excellent service
I recently shopped with stollers and the service was superb.
While there I also visited the restraunt and the food was excellent.
Very happy with the service all round and will definitely use again.
Very poor customer service
I would avoid to buy anything from this furniture store. The simple reason is, if anything goes wrong with the goods you buy, you will get zero customer service help or a refund.
The customer service staff are very rude and they wouldn't return your calls.
Also, please be aware whatever they sell is very expensive but very poor quality.. had a few experience over the years.
Go to any other furniture store but Stollers.
Great looking expensive furnitures BUT no after sale care!
Stollers is a local furniture shop.
It makes you feel good when you walk around the shop, great looking EXPENSIVE furnitures.
We spent thousands of pounds on sales.
But once you buy the goods, forget about the after sale care. THEY JUST DON'T CARE if the goods you bought broke down few months after. Forget it.
So, unfortunately we didnt learn our lesson and shopped from there once again.
Yet again, the goods we bought broke few months after and no chance of getting a refund even though it's clearly a manufacturer fault.
Customer service staff are really bad, bad and bad! They simply ignore the emails we've sent.
Going legal this time and hopefully we learnt our lesson big time!
The most lovely furniture store…
The most lovely furniture store I have been in. I did not realise the size of the store, it is huge! Everyone in the store was very helpful, amazing service from start to finish. I love my new bed. The restaurant food is also unbelievable, I had the yorkshire pudding wrap and rate it 11/10.
Really disappointed with Stollers
Really disappointed with Stollers. We have spent a considerable amount of money over the years with this local firm. The furniture, ornaments, lighting etc are lovely and there's lots to choose from BUT. We ordered some bedroom furniture in February, and the tale is too long to describe on here but we have been told the last piece of furniture won't be with us until August. We have had to chase Stollers for this information as we had to with all the furniture we ordered. Not a smooth process and had we known it would take so long to get, we wouldn't have ordered it. Really really disappointed and cannot recommend their services. The only bonus is the delivery guys who were superb and noticed one wardrobe was damaged on delivery and advised us what to do. Need to do better at keeping your customers informed Stollers, they shouldn't have to keep chasing you for updates.
Extremely poor service and attitude to customers
Made a purchase on 4th March told 4 to 6 weeks. When chased after 7 weeks told a further delay of 3 weeks. Chased again and given further delay of 3 weeks. When discussing with the sales person we were accused of being rude and aggressive and she threatend to hang up on us, she also informed me that the calls were recorded which is good as the recording can be played back to prove I was not rude. I was told that I would be kept informed of progress but no one has contacted me. Still waiting for my order and to be honest this will be the last thing I buy from Stollers. Its a shame they do not live up to the values that shout about.
Great customer service from Paul
We were greeted by Paul Kerr on arrival at the store. He turned out to be exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. He was not a pushy salesman - he allowed us plenty of time to choose and compare items whilst being very patient. It was a pleasure doing business with him. An all round Nice guy! Thankyou!

Dreadful after service to deal with very poor quality wardrobe which paid a lot of money for.
We bought a sliding wardrobe in September 2022 and paid a lot of money as we were told it was a high quality supplier. We were disappointed with the initial quality but as we had bought the bedside cabinets too we just accepted it. 12 months later the shelf collapsed when all it had on were pajamas. However, the rail was attached to the shelf as well so the weight on the shelf of normal usage plus the fact that it wasn’t fastened fully with screws in all holes, the fixings which were small and the very soft plywood it was attached to meant it fell down. We put it back on a different setting but through the night a couple of weeks later it crashed down and pushed the side out and back out. We contacted Stollers and we’re told it would take two weeks for an engineer to come out. The engineer came out and told my husband that some of the quality of these wardrobes were poor and that it needed new side panels and back panel and the company would be in touch. A week later a representative has phoned to say the warranty won’t cover it as the engineer said it was our fault and not installed properly. (We paid for Stollers to fit it). All they were prepared to do is fix the shelf. Absolutely devastated as we paid approximately £1000 for a wardrobe which has lasted 12 months and can now not be used. We bought from a local company as we thought they would care about customer service-absolutely ripped off. We have had wardrobes which cost a fraction of this price and have lasted decades. Over priced for a poor product which was not installed correctly by the company.
A massive thank you
I required an riser recliner chair for my mother. We used Stollers previously where we received a first class service. On returning to the shop I was provided with first class advice with no pressure to purchase. On making my decision on a specific chair the chair was ordered. Stollers went above and beyond to have the chair treated as requested and delivered as soon as practicality possible. An outstanding service from start to finish and can't thank the salesperson, reception staff and management enough. A massive thank you to all.
Shop local if you can
Absolutely first rate service from Stollers from ordering to delivery after a terrible experience from Bensons for Beds, Stollers came to the rescue, just wish we had gone to them first (lesson learned) single bed base, mattress & headboard better quality & cheaper price, always try a local shop before a faceless company who couldn't care less.
Our new armchair
So delighted with our new, and very comfortable electrically adjustable armchair.
The chair is extremely comfortable and easily manouvreable. Available in a number of fabrics we opted for a leather finish to blend with other furnishinigs.
We have no hesitation in recommending this particular chair, and indeed found the information and advice we received from our knowledgeable sales person invaluable. Our chair HIMOLLA.
Fab new wardrobe.
Just had our wardrobe built and fitted today by Neal and Ant. Great lads and very efficient service. Great care taken with our new decor, all packaging removed and sorted.

I went to Stollers with my elderly farther to look at recliner chairs for him. Because for the distance we had to travel we wanted there to be a good range of choices available to try out. Paul Kerr was exceptionally helpful and informative. Not at all pushy as some "sales reps" can be. He had patience and understood Dad's needs as an older person with mobility issues. We chose a chair for Dad that is ideal, great quality and just what we were looking for. Thanks Paul and we'll see you again soon when my husband and I will be back for a sofa.
