I wrote to head office and head office replied by asking me to leave by end of November 2020 and that my contract will automatically terminate end of November 2020 and that if there is anything left in my room, it will either be ‘sold or disposed of’.
They didn't even have the decency to ask if I was OK - or even ask me what happened - so clearly they have entertained their employee's behaviour by obviously accepting that his despicable behaviour is right by them!
I haven't even responded to the email from head office, after they told me to leave WITHOUT hearing from me what happened, said it all - I'm not an argumentative person. I just want people to know what I went through, so that no one else has to go through this! I have been to the police regarding this particular member of staff and I have advised the police that this particular member of staff knows where my correspondence address is (which is my parents address).
A week later my parents had their porch window smashed! They are elderly and have lived there over 40 years and have NEVER had any trouble.
I have relayed all this to West Midlands Police, and I fear for my life. I am scared that if an individual such as this, can come into my face at Storagebase like he did, what else is he likely to do and to others?
I want to warn prospective customers to STAY AWAY from this Storagebase. I am now homeless and have nowhere to go, just days before Christmas! I am massively at risk and DO NOT wish this behaviour, physical or mental upon anyone entering this facility. Please be aware of this employee at Storagebase and don’t be fooled by their charms and cups of coffee!! I was advised by Trading Standards to leave a Trustpilot review to alert the upcoming public from this behaviour and unprofessionalism so that it does not happen to anyone else in the near future. I do not recognise any part of that other review: I have been with Storagebase, Frome for about a year and found it to be a professionally-run facility, competitively priced with free refreshments and wifi and the staff could not be more helpful. The only reason I am not still using Storagebase, Frome (vacated my unit this week) is that I found another storage facility that was much closer to my home base.
I would not hesitate to recommend Storagebase, Frome .

Go in to the Frome branch and receive a flippant, half baked service; told to check online repeatedly! Body language and attitude like you're an inconvenience; all that was missing was a roll of the eyes and a tut but they were all implied.
The most ambiguous, unhelpful yet invasive experience in a long time.
Checked online received a weekly quote that you agree to, then you receive an invoice for the entire amount.
You're also credit checked and if anything flashes up; you're incompetently interrogated by a 'yes yes' robot who asks you to talk about your debt!!!! Something I don't even discuss with friends or family.
If you question why you're being asked, you receive a jaw achingingly vacant response akin to " computer says no"
I spoke to the manager who did not identify herself by name or position and repeatedly interrupted me and actually argues with you, Naomi for your interest; zero customer care skills.
I will be contacting the financial ombudsman regarding the disparity between the quote system and the subsequent arrival of an invoice in a completely different format.
