Fantastic customer service

Fantastic customer service, great pricing, charitable donations!!! Only downside is that the service can be slightly less than average in some places.

I'm Very Happy

I found it very easy to setup TPO account and port my number to TPO. Seamless experience. I never needed to contact customer support, all instructions are on the website. I followed the instructions and my TPO service was up and running without any hassles. Excellent pricing and good reception. No dropped calls. I'm happy. I was with TING but this is a much better deal plus you get to donate a portion of the bill to your favorite charity.

I've only been a member for a short …

I've only been a member for a short time, but so far am very happy with the service. My only complaint is that getting a signal is very difficult when we go to the family cottage - only about 80 min drive northwest of here. It is a busy area and we keep being told there are lots of cell towers, but for some reason, the TPO (via Sprint) signals are hard to find and in turn, wear down the phone battery quickly. Not a good thing when one's phone is with it for a reason. Aside from all of that, however, I really like the service and more than appreciate it's value (on my meager budget).

I am very happy with TPO

I am very happy with TPO. It isn't the quite low operating cost that keeps me happy, although that's a definite plus. It's the fact that a part of my monthly fee goes to the charity of my choice. That definitely matters. I would give it five stars except that it's range isn't always the absolute best. Nonetheless, it's usually just fine for my needs.

Great value, but could be better...

TPO is a great value compared to other cell phone companies, and they donate 10% to the cause of your choice. I would give them 5 stars except for their coverage. It is very spotty in certain areas.

REVIEW

I bought a sim card and tried calling TPO to activate it. I spent about an hour waiting for someone to pick up and when they did, they were extremely disrespectful. I asked nicely and all they did was blabber about some nonsense of how my BYOD cannot be activated. I called my bank immediately and marked the purchase as a fraud. Never have I seen a "charitable" company be this disrespectful.

Good Service - Minor Glitches - Half Reps In Bad Mood

I singed up transferring my number of over 20 years to them and the port in was FAST!, I mean in like 1 day!

Once upon auto renewal, I had to dial 911. The service was OFF!

Luckily I run both a free and paid for account at Enother.net and so was able to get the ambulance. Later that day, the service for my Atlanta 9488 account with TPO was again active.

I am an empath, easily picking up on peoples 'moods' and On July 5th 2017 I called to find out why I 'THOUGHT' I paid for the simple 1000 minute plan, rather than my normal Unlimited, because tallying up my previous months usage, see I could 'pinch' a few dollars by downgrading, but, at two weeks into the plan I received a text I hadn't ever seen before stating I had only 6 minutes of 1000. I logged into my account and reviewed the plans, saw the plan I Thought I clicked, looked at the payment history at top stating paid the 21.6?, and called TPO to inquire why my service plan had only given me about half of the 1000 minutes rather than the full 1000?

The representative that answered was in a bad mood, even though I Nice and Happy. After talking a few, she did cheer up. Perhaps because I realized that the top of my account 'I' had made a mistake in just assuming the top of the web page was current history, when in reality it was at the bottom. 'The months and dates at top and bottom were soo close even to the date, I missed the Year. Duhh. She was cheerier, but I like posoitve people from the beginning because negativity is contagious, as is positiveness!

Perhaps they could school the reps in more happy attitudes but ther than that, Honestly,,

The service is GREAT! :-)

Hello, Ive only been a TPO customer for a few months, but I wanted to say thank you for the excellent customer service. Every encounter Ive had, whether it be through email or a call to a live person, has always been quick, courteous and helpful. Quick response to problem.

We were in Honolulu, 5,000 miles from our home in FL. Phone, data and text service was great. Two weeks into our trip , early one evening, everything on the phone suddenly was blocked. I started a repair request ticket online and by 6 am the next morning, when I checked my email there was a message requesting that I check my phone. The problem was resolved, everything worked again. The email apologized for the 12 hours of service loss and inconvenience. When asked what happened, the cause of the problem was explained in a second email and as an added bonus, $5 will be credited to our next bill. Very happy with the service and the way our problem was handled so quickly.
