Lucky they even got one star they…
Lucky they even got one star they deserve 0/5 really 2 items received from eBay $340 worth neither item worked to get last item refunded required a person with server brain damage to buy a $500 printer to print their return shipping label so both items were never refunded and I advise all customers thinking of use eBay don’t not worth the excuses you get or don’t get because of their attitude and policies I have a policy to it’s called my lawyer and consumer affairs and they can be treated as I see they treat their customers. And no I don’t have access to any printer. And why I have to keep spending money on the issue is a joke so I may as well take a piece of eBay. Just from their customers ratings clearly not worth the time as a company. I gave them near a month to deliver from Melbourne to Tasmania I know ridiculous but that’s how long it took to receive device they game me 5 days to come up with $500 for printer to print shipping label and to return item to seller for refund when it took them 3 weeks with 25 days in Melbourne didn’t move to do same postal delivery in reverse yes that makes sense eBay also what my address for item you can’t send a shipping label to me EBAY YOUR JOKE and I see why your ratings are so low value your money do not buy of eBay they give nil warranties against faulty useless items and their excuses a joke. I have bought of many online suppliers and eBay I have found constantly the worst easily by far of the lot. My deal gave great service pity they didn’t have what I need but I will seek replacement from them.
lost 450 bucks
I bought an apple watch worth 450 dollars which never came to me and neither ebay nor seller know where it is.
Never buy anything from ebau
Ebay ripoff
Ebay not meet it's responsibility to deliver what it sells. The delivery is incomplete and if you manage to get through to newaim or ozplazaliving, you will be fobbed off without an excuse. Ebay does not care either
I purchased insecticide which arrived broken and leaking!!…
I purchased professional insecticide which is a highly poisonous and flammable substance from a Sydney ebay seller called novapestdiy who has a very high feedback score and reliable reputation.
The can of aerosol was delivered to me by Fastway couriers in a postage envelope, with no protection or padding and completely unboxed.
When I opened the envelope, to my shock, the spraying mechanism of the can was completely broken and there was spray leaking all over my home.
I had some breathing issues, and ran outside and put it in the garbage.
I have told ebay outright, that that constitutes negligence and the seller is liable for Duty of Care.
Ebay will not give me a refund unless I return the item!!
Seriously concerning, I just hope no one gets seriously injured from this seller in future.
Worst customer service
The worst customer service I've ever seen, blame you for mistakes on their and sellers behalf. No compensation or admittance of any wrongdoing. Customer service also has poor response time and unclear communication.

For a seller it generally goes like this.
Lose profits to paypal and lose even more profits to ebay, then lose more profits to posting as well as the initial investment and pray your whiny customer doesnt email you.
I am a fan!
I order a lot of things from eBay and am always very impressed by their customer service.
Only reason it is not 5 stars is due to when one listing has multiple products at different pricing. Often the product you want is actually much more expensive than the perceived price. If it is a different price it should be a different listing.
It is a pity that there is no zero…
It is a pity that there is no zero rating. Definitely would be on Ebay. Due to covid-19 the product was delayed by the buyer. Ebay is making money for the buyer. After 2 days the buyer received the item. The buyer received the item and the money. Ebay doesn’t solve the problems it makes in conflicts between buyers and sellers. And raises mistrust Pay pal
Great market place!
Awesome customer service!
I recently bought a drop saw blade from…
I recently bought a drop saw blade from a company that was supposed to be Australian. And, they were supposed to be based in Sydney. However, after I paid for the item, I discovered that it was a Chinese company and that my blade would not arrive for over two months. And could be a lot longer with the current backlog on parcel deliveries. Ebay needs to come clean, so that when we order Australian, then it should be Australian, and delivery times would be a lot shorter.

eBay removes negative feedback
I have left greengadgets negative feedback for 2 items and eBay has removed my feedback. I also noticed that other negative feedback gets removed. Green gadgets are dishonest they sell faulty products. eBay is supporting dishonest sellers. I left negative feedback instead of getting a refund because I was not at all happy with the sellers lies. They state that every device is rigorously tested before selling if that was true I would not have received a faulty device. Another device was sold with a battery that did not perform well and did not hold charge for a full day with minimal use iPhone 6. Avoid eBay as the whole feedback system is corrupt as eBay removes most negative feedback.
A good site overall
A good site overall. I find $28 a month very reasonable for a store in which you can list 500 items for free. It's clear that people don't have as much money as they used to. 5 yrs ago a $1 auction start would have 10 people watching, but now you are lucky to get 10 views and one watcher and a $1 sale, so start auctions at a few dollars. They are relisting items up to 8 times for free and they don't charge anything for any start price (I think). eBay chat are the best customer service around by far! PayPal and 10% sale price is ok, but PayPal should charge less
Bad seller experience
Bad seller experience. They do not care about the seller's interests.
AU ebay - dishonest seller - Royal Albert seller
I am a new ebay buyer, but I found this platform is unsecure. It allows dishonest seller provides unfair trading to buyers! Be careful If you want to buy Royal Alberts/Wedgwood or any luxury china from the platform. A seller who is claiming she sells Royal Albert - Made in England. She mixed first quality and second quality (chipped, issue with backstamps) OCR products, and claimed all her products are brand new, perfect condition and first quality! She normally sells in full set, couple of hundreds to over a thousand dollars. She refused to give refund or except return when I found her products are not as description. Please read below:
I recently bought from this seller for a set of royal albert old country rose (OCR) coffee set. Before I made payment, I emailed the seller asking the condition and quality of the products. She confirmed they are brand new, no chips, no scratches, new and never used, and also they are classified as first quality ( the quality only sells in department store). Therefore, I trusted and paid the seller. On the day I picked up my goods as she requested, she wrapped all products for me and I only checked a few pieces. I also made a mistake to pay extra $150 deposit for other products as I over trusted the seller is good at that moment. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found the products are in poor condition and they are second quality. Some china with chipped handle, scratches, used, plates are not in one set, and backstamp with missing letters. I found a cup has a backstamp printed as Royal Alb Bone Chin, the remain letters are missing. A letter A printed apart from Chin Marked With Gold Pen Aside. They are not as description. You can google the classification of first and second quality for more info. Must check the backstamps! I was expecting to buy a set of Royal Albert, not ROYAL ALB with BONE CHIN.
Of course, the seller refused to return, refund and exchange. She claimed her products are in good conditions! She also denied to pay back the deposit I made to her. She was so mad and made up stories. Luckily, I had all emails to proof she owed me money and photos to proof the conditions of products are not as described to Credit Card Ctr/ Paypal. (The deposit $100 and the fault order $310 are now refunded after a whole month negotiation!)
At first, I tried to get Ebay to help so I raised a dispute via Ebay, but they only replied the products that I bought are not under the 'Guarantee Money Back Scheme' and so they simply closed the dispute. I think Ebay protects sellers more than buyers. Luckily, I reported the issue to ACCC and re-checked with Ebay (Live Chat) and contacted my card center to help. At the end, Ebay reviewed the issue and told me that they actually created a guest account via Paypal to protect their customer, and so I could contact Paypal for a refund. After the full process (1 month), Paypal and card center helped me to get the refund of $310 once I returned the china.
It took me one month to ask the seller to refund the extra payment $100 that I paid her. The seller refused to pay back the money via paypal, and she broke her promises at the beginning.
I reported this case to ACCC and Paypal. I didn't give my acc details at first due to the advise from ACCC, Card Centre and Paypal. Later, I checked with the bank to seek advise before giving my account details for cash refund. Be careful when you are trying to buy Royal Albert, Wedgwoood, Waterford from Ebay, avoid the seller who has many stocks and claimed she is a collector! The seller will try asking you to pay by cash as she claimed that she is ''old'' and doesn't know how to use Paypal! Actually she Is very professional in all Ebay and Paypal's policy, when you pay by cash, you can’t get a refund! She would ask buyer to buy more and pay her in cash, and I was one of the victim! This case is closed now, I only had $70 lost in total, included $20 shipping fee and $50 a plate that I couldn't return by paying in cash. Confirmed I can get my $410 refund. I know that I have my rights to get back my $70, but I decided to leave it and just treated as a lesson learned, hope to share this incident will help others to avoid from dishonest sellers.
The seller emphasized that her products are never used, new, brand new and perfect. She claimed she is in a retirement and moving to country side soon, and I was willing to buy more and paid cash deposit due to my condolences!
She has many stocks and claimed they are made in England, 1962 designs that she bought in 1990s. She said she never used and all brand new. I will now suspect if it is true!?
Actually, I sent the products-pictures to an antique and china collection shop in UK, the professional appraisal confirmed the plates of the set are not in the same style, they might be collected in different years. Also, a backstamp of a cup has missing letters, maybe it has been scratched as a Seconds. (Second Quality)
I would say, not all seller like this one. I found 2 local sellers are very trustful, but they don't sell many old royal albert in big portion.
Excellent
Did not know you can buy phones for new. Thought only for second hand. Thank you.

ebay is the best by far great people always get what u order and if there is ever any problems just call there awesome customer service they are more than will to help
Extremely Unfair Promotion
Going to give up on using eBay today after a long wasted day of trying to get airpods at $99. Seems most of the accounts that got them were new accounts or very low feedback. If your going to have a promotion make it achievable to meet! I assume people had created bots / workarounds to actually make use of the promotion
