I bought a high‑end Stormforce system in late 2024, a very expensive build featuring a 9800X3D, RTX 4080 Super, and 64GB of 6000MHz RAM. On paper, it looked like a premium machine, especially since most of the components were MSI‑branded. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the price.
The first issue appeared immediately: Stormforce installed four sticks of Corsair RAM that weren’t compatible with the motherboard, meaning the system could only run at 4800MHz unless I removed half the memory. That effectively turned my “64GB 6000MHz” system into 32GB if I wanted the speed I paid for.
It took weeks (until late February 2025) for Stormforce to send replacement RAM that actually worked. To make matters worse, EXPO/XMP wasn’t even enabled in the BIOS, which suggests they knew the RAM wasn’t compatible in the first place.
Fast‑forward just over a year, and the PSU failed while the PC was idle. When I opened the system, I discovered Stormforce had installed a white‑label OEM 1000W PSU (Vortex CSZ1000V5), not exactly what you expect in a premium build with expensive components. It only carried a 2‑year warranty, which says a lot.
I’ve now replaced the PSU myself with an MSI unit that includes a 10‑year warranty, which is what I would have expected from Stormforce from the start. I understand companies need to manage costs, but cutting corners on the power supply (the one component that protects everything else) and overlooking cable safety feels unacceptable for a system at this price.
While replacing the PSU, I also noticed several cable‑management issues: some wires had been damaged because cable ties were tightened far too much, and a cable (likely from the AIO) had been caught behind the IO shield and was visibly pinched and exposed at the back of the case. These are basic build‑quality problems that shouldn’t be present in a system at this price point.
Overall, the machine works now, but between the RAM issues, the BIOS oversight, the long wait for replacements, the PSU failure, and the poor cable management, I can’t say the experience matched the premium price tag. Stormforce should do better.

Good products and Quidco cashback made purchase attractive. A little disapointed with lack of set up instructions. My PC came with graphics card not installed, but there were no how-to guides to show how to install it. The QR code and set up info didnt seem to reference the scenario of them shipping the card seperately. I presume this was to avoid damage, but when i ordered it, all the info said the pc instead would come with custom internal packaging to protect instead... they should update their info if they are saving money by just removing the card and shipping it empty as it took me hours to figure out how to set it up, as I was nervous about doing the wrong thing with a brand new £4500 PC! Note I read all the help pages on their website at the time and there was nothing saying how to install a graphics card on my model of PC. It just repeated what was on the QR code link.

The PC was neatly put together, the cables were routed tidily, when I added my GPU, RAM, NVME M2 drive and SATA drives, it all worked perfectly.

Advertised the laptop as a gaming computer with great battery life mine lasts way less than an hour. Got in touch with them and basically told I need to plug it in playing games.

Amazing experience - extremely swift and prompt support offered by Eva and Tarron.
My son accidentally deleted the wifi drivers and was so upset, options where given to post USBs out to me or clear instructions to download the drivers again to rectify the problem.
I have one happy gamer again, and cannot fault the level of support and understanding given by the staff at Stormforce.
Thanks so much!

Hi, if it was possible I would give it 0 stars, but it won't let me. let's start by saying that today is the son's birthday and unfortunately he doesn't have the desired gift. on April 14, a rather large sum was sent, for my income is high, 969.99 pounds to this company with the intention of making a computer. during this period the eldest son called the company to find out what was happening because the computer was not ready. I repeat and say that not once did they mention the fact that they don't have the necessary parts and that we have to wait longer, or that they sent us an email saying that they don't have the necessary parts and if we agree to wait longer. with bad intentions or not, we were left without a present and today, after the boy comes home from school, I will have to explain why he doesn't have the desired present.
I feel very worried and confused knowing what will happen next.
so please don't make purchases from this company again, lest you have the same surprise.
I wish you all a pleasant day.

Easy to navigate website to build custom PC and very competitive pricing. Unit was well packed and precautions taken to ensure components inside would not rattle around during transit. Package was delivered with care and tracking confirmed delivery time.

First time buying myself a gaming PC and I'm very impressed with the range of rigs on offer, especially as someone with a budget on the lower end (<£1K). Ordering was smooth and straight-forward.
Only criticism is that upon ordering I was told I'd get automatic emails every step of the order progressing, which I didn't have. When emailing customer service for these updates though, communication was good and fast so can't complain too much.
Very pleased with what I've received and how easy it was to set up - took me about an hour max. between opening the box and actually gaming. Thank you!

Came with a faulty component so I sent it back and they tested and upgraded the faulty part. The communication was phenomenal, first time ordering with stormforce but I would recommend.

Easy to purchase computer on line.
Son loves the computer.
We have since added to the computer.

The PC came super fast which of course made me a happy gamer! However it kept crashing because of some out of date firmware for the motherboard, updating it fixed it. Otherwise super happy!

My other review was taken down so I'll dumb things down here:
• terribly overpriced devices
• creating complete slop, calling them gaming PCs by simply throwing RGB over them
• scamming people new to PC building by giving them the absolute worst parts imaginable, where even an ancient phone could run things better than these "Gaming PCs"
• decorating these useless pieces of metal into looking powerful but being completely useless
• the PC I've gotten from you, and have had to hold up with for years costed SO much, but uneducated me didn't know that your PC is worse than any school computer, your PC didn't even have a GPU, I'm so thankful I'm going to other companies and getting proper components to build my next PC so I can forget this sorry excuse of a company
• your PCs are genuinely not even worth £100, let alone £600 and £700, atleast get them to run google and not have to wait 2 minutes for a single tab to open
