Produced a really good book with help through out the different stages.
Only hick up temporarily was that AI was tried and did not work.
But when this was realised it was completely rectified and it was never too much trouble to get a first class end product.

Fantastic service and a beautiful personalised product. Immortalises cherished memories of loved ones in such a wonderful way.

This company has been a Freaking nightmare. My writer tells me that Stroy terrace is going AI and he will not be conitinuing with story terrace. Story terrace will not return my money and I have no book or writer. And they continue to charge my account even after canceling. $7480 and no book . Would only recommend this company to an AI.

Hello, I would just like to say how pleased I have been with the support from Story Terrace in taking my book project forward. I have not always been able to meet deadlines but that is because of my own business work load. However, My Project Editor and the team have always been most courteous, helpful and full of encouragement and a delight to work with. Writing a life story is both challenging and rewarding and getting the right balance of interest and brevity is important. I purchased this for my dad's 70th birthday. The interviews went well and online system easy to operate. Changes and edits to drafts were all done quickly. We're very happy with the finished manuscript and the printed books looks fantastic. Not cheap, but good quality and I would recommend.

First think I would say is that I love my book ,and I know I would not achieve that without Story Terrace .
From start fo finish the experience of how everything was planned for me .
A massive thank to Nicola Rayner who understud me completely and did such an amazing work writing this book with me .

The books I got are a literary feast for the mind—each page turn feels like a new adventure, and my bookshelf has never looked happier!

The service provided fell very short of expectations.
The content of the book missed a lot of important information, which we had expressly requested be included ( we were aware of the extra cost for this) and despite feedback we ended up having to spend a lot of time reviewing and adding to the text.
The quality of the editing was poor, I was advised it was within the acceptable errors for publishing. I had to invest a huge amount of time reviewing the final draft as the errors in page layout and grammar were not acceptable.
For example:
Misaligned text.
Headings at the bottom of the page with no text until the next page.
Paragraphs altered, changing the context, with changes to punctuation.
Find your own author and publisher ( they should be able to help you with an editor) I think you will have a much better experience.

And also special thanks to author Gillian Monks, who has helped and supported me telling/writing my life’s story. Story Terrace helped me put my story together. I had been thinking about it for at least two decades, but it was the support I got from Fuad the writer and Victoria, my editor that made it all happen.

Fuad was very organised, supportive and kind. he gave me the structure, the style and a lot of the words. Victoria was efficient, very prompt And helpful. Both were most encouraging and often more enthusiastic than I was about the project. I am very grateful To them for all their help. Without them, none of it would have happened.

I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting to write their story.

It has been some process and I am pleased it is done. Audrey the writer did well to capture the core of my story from my frame. Despite circumstances that happened in her personal circumstances, she persevered and completed the draft. Thank you! There were some hiccups in the administrative process until Victoria took over . Victoria was exceptional in bringing this process to completion as recalling history triggered some deep emotions and consequences of not being able to continue with amending the draft. My experience with story Terrace was good I had an excellent person who helped to put it altogether.I would agree with one of your writers I didn’t realise that there was a time limit & word limit, so I felt a bit rushed in the end.!
My one complaint is with Amazon I ordered a couple of my books for family members, when they arrived I was disgusted it was a flimsy paperback all my photos were in black& white & not very good quality at all so returned them & complained. So would feel ver distressed if any one else had tried to purchase one if they received one like that, I would be totally embarrassed.
Otherwise I am pleased with my book.

My husband had spoken about writing his autobiography for years but it became apparent that he would never get around to it!! We then saw an ad for Storyterrace and thought it would be the perfect solution. We were extremely lucky that our writer was Zoe Apostolides who was very experienced and a joy to work with. She put Steve at his ease and translated his stories into a wonderful book which will be of great interest to our grandchildren and future generations. Victoria Fox was our Project Editor who was always on hand to deal with any queries andn was really helpful throughout the process. We are so very pleased that we finally have a wonderful book.

I can only recommend. Of course, it takes the right people. Writer was Ruth - fantastic. She grabbed the idea and put her heart in getting into my story.
Victoria who dealt with getting me over the final hurdles was a real "Gem".
For people who complain, like every written project, it takes application and time.

The undertaking and completion of a book on my life of nearly 80 years has been absorbing, memorable and enjoyable. Originally a gift from my family, I increased the project by about three times as it progressed, to circa 260 pages (140 for my story, 80 for photographs and 40 for appendices). Throughout the process Story Terrace enabled flexibility in timing and content. Advice, reassurance and support from Lara Worthy of Story Terrace were invaluable. Key to the process was Story Terrace identifying an excellent author, Rebecca Dalton, whose qualities as a writer shone through. During 17 hours of interviews she was patient, positive and supportive in her questioning and advice. I rate her work highly.
Lara Worthy gave helpful advice on digitalising my photographs; I used a local photoshop to prepare and upload them onto Story Terrace Bookmaker, a straight-forward process.
I commend Story Terrace for its professionalism, flexibility, high standard of proof reading and ease of use. Its processes allow a 'story book', large or small, to be produced and adjusted with flexibility. Overall the experience has been life-enhancing and I am now the proud possessor of a life story, which can be shared with family and friends, and pass down family generations to those who will never meet me in the flesh. The book itself, is a product of high quality.
Therefore I recommend Story Terrace, without hesitation.

My experience with Story Terrace was really great. They took a novice writer and story teller and turned me into a competent writer and story teller.

My mother’s story actually happened because of Ant’s wonderful sessions sitting, listening and encouraging Mum to remember . Ant was great and really made this possible for mum.

What a great experience it was working with Story Terrace. My experience was a gift from my daughter which I found rather daunting. However, working with Josephine Galvin and Victoria Fox soon encouraged me to enjoy the experience. Victoria was a great presence especially coming towards the end and I felt Josephine became my friend. Now I've finished it I realise I've missed out so much but, hopefully, what I have done will prove amusing which is what I was aiming for.
