Writing my life story has been an unbelievable experience. Where else would you find someone to listen to you telling them your story. I've mainly done it for my Grandchildren. They are young and right now are not interested in Grandad going on about his life but, there will come a time when I think they will. I might be long gone by then but perhaps they'll have the time and interest to take it all in. I wish I would have asked my Mum & Dad questions about their life when they were alive but, quite honestly, I was not that interested as I was too taken up with what I was doing. It sounds selfish maybe but I think it's a general trend with everybody. My author really listened and produced a book that perfectly describes what I was trying to convey. I have mentioned it to several people who as yet have not decided to go ahead but find it fascinating.

A really through and detailed experience in producing our memory books. We were involved in every step from initial idea though to production and could tweak and mould our story as we went along.
Really looking forward to receiving our books and holding them as a physical memory of our fabulous cruises.

Thanks to Beverley Dupont who listened patiently to my story and did an excellent job.

I’m 78, live in Dublin - my story was about my Adoption journey. Hariny was my Editor
At the outset, I asked to be matched with someone with Irish Roots, so as to have a better understanding of my story. This did not happen and while my interviews were fine, it’s when I received my Outline from her that trouble started.!!
To say my Outline was a Mess is an understatement! No chronological order- what was in one chapter should have been in another! Etc, etc.
It took me over 4 months to correct which I did meticulously by email ( not having word document)
Most of my corrections were not adhered to - leaving me totally frustrated with the process!
Uploading photos not an easy task either, but fortunately
Found Ken who helped me out (at further cost I might add!)
Finally got book over the line early October ‘25 -I started in January!!! I’m glad I stuck with it as I’m happy with how it turned out.i think my grandchildren will be too!
A big thank you to Hariny for her patience and putting the final touches to my book.
Disappointed with writer!!

The initial interview was amazing. The editing afterwards was dreadful. In fact I had to have it reedited elsewhere. use these people at your cost

The contacts, I had, made me give a 5-star rating:
Tilly Barickman & Walter Gavin.
Being 77, I had problems with the website and at times, it didn’t work. It was not my fault. Tilly filled in all the gaps and dealt caringly with me personally to solve any issues in a way which suited and was easy for me.
Interviews with Walter who conducted them and wrote up their contents became a regular experience to which I grew to look forward.
His relaxed, accommodating manner allowed me to be myself and talk freely.
His write-up detailed the main events at the same time evaluating and summing up the salient features which in turn characterised accurately my life’s story.
I will always remember him. I felt, he got into my character, understood perfectly my reactions and made me feel instinctively that I could identify with what he was saying.
It was me.
A big thank you to you both !
David Saxton.

Writer was excellent and thoughtful during interview and writing process.
It was a shame that my editor was changed half way through without any prior notification.
The new editor gave incomplete and inaccurate instructions on how to edit on the bookmaker website which resulted in me wasting over a month’s time and having to re edit my book twice.
Not great

I received a lot of support in resolving issues I had with using the Story Terrace. Lycel, in particular, was extremely helpful.
The finished book was well-presented and designed.

I ordered this as a gift for my dad’s birthday and it exceeded all expectations. The quality is fantastic, and it turned out so meaningful that the whole family has been raving about it. We’ve already decided to order more copies for relatives. Truly one of the most thoughtful and memorable gifts you can give.

Bought this for my grandmother in July and just received the book, it turned out absolutely beautiful. Everyone in the family loved it, and we’re already getting more copies printed. It’s simply the best gift you can give someone you love.

Beautiful storytelling combined with carefully selected pictures to match my amazing memories

I am not happy with the size of the book. Looks more like pocket book than a biography

We were very happy with the whole experience. Lisa was great to work with. We were very comfortable talking with her in telling our story. She was very thorough and brought our story to life. Freya is very professional and patient. She guided us through the process effortlessly. We loved the whole experience!

My daughters gave me this as a gift for Mothers Day. I thoroughly enjoyed the process. Beverley understood how I wanted it to read and Freya directed with the mechanics. A fun experience and a written record for my future generations.

I had a wonderful experience speaking with the sales agent - Rachael. She was attentive, really listened to my story, and recommended the perfect package. I appreciate how she took the time to understand the story I wanted to share. Excited for my first interview next week, can't wait !

We had a great experience writing our story. Our writer, Barnaby, was very good at guiding us through the process and the end result was a true reflection of our lives. The book itself was well produced and we were very happy with it. It will be a lovely legacy to pass on to our children and grandchildren.

Horrible experience
Too devastated to write about the scam , poor AI assisted writing , add on costs (although I purchased highest package!) platform cuts your Paragraphs that you have to keep rewriting until of course time limits have been exhausted where of course you have to pay extra for every month.
Pathetic!

My project is still incomplete and nobody is willing to respond to my calls. In fact, I can’t get in touch with anyone.
My book was written, and when I received it there were several errors so I requested a rewrite/reprint, and they wanted to charge me way more than what I should have been requested to pay. I’m trying to resolve this matter, but the manager completely stopped responding to me. I didn’t threaten her, or anything like that. I simply requested what steps I should take, and ironically and very quickly she asked for a review. I didn’t provide a review because my book had not been completed.
Please contact me via email or a simple phone call so that I can wrap up my project and provide further feedback.
