Great service helped out greatly with price and guidance .

We contacted Strathclyde Windows after I had visited a friend's house and complimented them on the sound proofing and design of their replacement windows. They said they'd had a great experience with Strathclyde Windows and felt the price they'd paid was really competitive. Alan came to visit the house, do an initial measurement and then emailed a really comprehensive quote. We were very pleased with the price and decided to go ahead. Alan returned to confirm the details of the windows, collect the deposit and get the contract signed. He gave us a good estimate of the likely timescale for installation and arranged for the fitter to come round to take more exact measurements. The windows were actually available a little earlier than anticipated, although the fitting had to be completed with a bit of a gap between dates, due to extremely high winds. Our fitter was very pleasant and friendly and we are very pleased with all the windows. There was a slight issue with some dust from the old windows getting through dust sheets on to a carpet and despite his best efforts, the fitter couldn't get the stain out. Accidents happen, and the fitter and the firm did absolutely everything they could to resolve the situation, which we did successfully. I was very pleased and relieved that they were so open to taking ownership of the issue - I had half expected that we would be facing a battle to get the carpet fixed, but Gordon from Strathclyde Windows was really proactive, helpful, fair and generous about it. I felt the way they dealt with the issue was an example of first class customer service and as a result, I'm very happy to give them a 5 star rating. The new windows look great and we have definitely noticed an improvement in sound proofing and a reduction in draughts.

There was a issue with my sash window but Strathclyde progressed with the supplier until the issue was resolved and only then was payment required.

I saw Strathclyde Windows replacing a neighbour's windows and approached Alan for quote for mine. When he came out to see us he listened to what we wanted and gave us good advise. No sales talk either just straightforward information. We were not disappointed. Scott the joiner worked hard and did an excellent job as he had to overcome some unexpected challenges after taking out the old windows and front door. Excellent company. Supplied with detailed written competitive quote for 12 replacement windows. No slick fast talking salesman offering initial costing then phoning boss and getting supposedly large discount to give a price which was still well in excess of Strathclyde Windows quote.
Alan keeps his clients well informed regards what would be best and the manufacture and installation progress. Installers were very good and overall I appear to have a quality final product. No complaints at all throughout the whole process would not hesitate to offer this company the chance to quote for any future business.

Wow, an honest double glazing company….this is a conversation I will remember! The owner was very honest and discussed many aspects of what would be involved in the replacement of my existing timber casement windows. The property is on the 3rd floor above shops, various regs would have to be satisfied and scaffolding would be needed. Therefore, it would make no financial sense changing the windows and I would be better spending my money elsewhere in the property. This is clearly a company that puts people and their situation at the forefront of their business. Extremely rare! When I next consider double glazing, I will definitely come to this company. After much research we decided on strathclyde windows we had a new composite door fitted.There are cheaper alternatives out there, but thats what they are, cheap!.the door itself is beautifully made and of a very high standard Both joiners worked hard, pleasant and courteous men, a pleasure having them around.whole job was completed in half a day and all questions answered honestly.A great product and service.dibt look any further

I found Strathclyde Windows after checking out multiple double glazing company reviews and got 3 different company quotes. From the start, Alan listened to what I needed and suggested options on what I could have to meet those needs. I went with the company that I felt I could trust and at a very competitive price. No hard sell, and no flashy salesmen talking me into something I really didn’t want.

On the day, the fitting team were brilliant. I decanted myself for the morning so I could leave them to it and when I got the call to come back, the fitting was complete, everything cleared, and the house was vacuumed and spotless. Can’t praise the guys enough.

The windows are perfect, look great and I would have no hesitation to recommend Strathclyde Windows to anyone looking to fit new double glazing.
