Very friendly and good recommemdation
The team was very friendly and documented the vehicle's condition in great detail, ensuring there would be no disputes upon its return. The recommendation to add roadside assistance for just a few euros proved to be a worthwhile investment, as we experienced a flat tire in the middle of a mountain pass in the middle of nowhere. After a short wait, we were towed directly to a tire shop and were back on the road within just over an hour.

Abysmal customer service
Basically, I arrived to pick up my hire car at Drivalia and, after waiting for 30 minutes, was told that my car was no longer available; apparently a previous customer had had an accident, therefore there was a shortage of cars. I was incredibly very taken aback, especially as I had booked the car at least a month in advance. Both the the Drivalia member of staff and I tried to contact your company to help sort out the situation, but nobody responded; this was not helped by the fact that you have no contact telephone number. Drivalia offered to find me a car from another company, but it would be at extra cost of over £200, which I was not prepared to pay. Eventually, after waiting for you for a reply for approximately 30 minutes, I asked to speak to the manager. As I had no intention of leaving the Drivalia office without a car, the manager eventually offered me a Vauxhall Corsa, which I took - where he managed to find it, I have no idea. Unfortunately, not only did this cause me an inordinate amount of stress (ironically), but I missed a business meeting. Even when I tried to contact your company after the event, I still didn't receive a reply. I would definitely not use you again.

You did contact us — you messaged us that day and we replied the same day asking for your booking reference so we could look into what Drivalia had told you, but we didn't hear back from you at that point. When you wrote to us again later with the full details of what happened at the desk, we replied again that same day, asking for your booking reference, lead driver name and rental dates, and any correspondence from Drivalia about the vehicle unavailability and the alternative they offered — so we could raise this with them directly on your behalf. We're still waiting to hear back from you with those details.
It's also worth being clear that StressFreeCarRental.com is a booking platform, not the rental company — Drivalia is who you rent from, and it's Drivalia who manage vehicle availability and any costs discussed at their desk on the day.
We do want to get to the bottom of what happened, but we can only take it further once we have your booking reference. If you can email help@stressfreecarrental.com with that and the details above, we'll pick this straight up with Drivalia.
