Bad!!!
I made a reservation through stressfreecarental for a Volkswagen Sharan for 10 days at Tivat airport Montenegro. I must stress that I ordered this car after a thorough research aiming at finding a big enough car that would fit a family of 5 adults and 5 suitcases. I knew that not any 7 seater would suffice, that's why I chose Volkswagen Sharan which is a very big and comfortable 7 seater, and not any other 7 sweater, which would have been cheaper. When we got to the carrental desk at Tivat airport they said they don't have this car but another 7 seater. When I saw the smallest 7 seater I have ever seen in my life which they wanted to give us, I didn't know if I should cry or laugh. Obviously, the car was way too small for us. It was a joke to even suggest that that small Dacia Jogger could substitute a Volkswagen Sharan, not to mention it is a much cheaper vehicle, and much less luxurious. It's like comparing a Hyundai i10 with an Audi Q5. Both of them are 5 seater, but that's about it, right? Obviously we couldn't keep the pathetic banged up car that they provided, and not because it was in a terrible condition (the left mirror was glued with a tape, and there were multiple dents and scratches), but because it couldn't contain all 5 of us plus luggage. It could barley contain 2 pieces of luggage, when 5 people are in the car, and we had a rode trip planned. We tried to ask the car provider to change the car to a bigger one, we were even willing to pay extra and wait for two days (our road trip started 2 days later), but they said they didn't have anything bigger. Therefore after 2 days we had to return the car. I turned to stressfreecarental, explained the situation and asked that they handle the termination of the carrental and to refund our money. Stressfreecarental said they will contact GreenMotion (the car provider) regarding the termination and the refund, however upuntil this day - 3 weeks later there has been no progress in obtaining any refund. Obviously I wrote multiple polite emails to stressfreecarental, and they answereand some but not all of them, saying that it's peak season and GreenMotion haven't replied yet. I don't care about GreenMotion!! Stressfreecarental is the one I rented the car from, they are the ones I payed to, and they are the ones that should give me a refund. They can wait to get their compensation from GreenMotion later if they want. Not to mention the insurance, which I also added to my reservation at stressfreecarental, which is provided by their partners RentalCover.com, who there is no possible way of reaching out to. I have rented cars many times before with other companies, and never have I had such a bad experience. I'm very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend at all.

First, to clarify our role: StressFreeCarRental.com is a price comparison and booking website, not the rental company. GreenMotion is the independent rental company that supplies the vehicle, and your rental agreement is directly with them.
On the vehicle: bookings for a specific make and model, such as the Volkswagen Sharan, are always shown as "or similar" — this guarantees the vehicle category, but not the exact make or model. If the category actually provided at the desk was genuinely smaller than what you booked, rather than just a different model within the same category, that's something we can look into properly — we'd need your booking reference along with the rental agreement showing what was recorded at collection.
On the refund: where a rental company can't supply a suitable vehicle as booked, we do pursue this with them directly on your behalf, as confirming a cancellation or refund normally requires their written confirmation first. Originally booked same vehicle from Wolverhampton. Organisation rang to say, once I had booked, nothing was available at that site! Disappointing having spent 30 mins sorting it out.
Rebooked Chester, another 30 mins, similar price, similar vehicle but 17 days as opposed for 24🤷♀️
