Stubhub backed out of order, never received tickets.
bought tickets well in advance, started to chase 2 weeks before event, in total 4 emails and 7 phone calls. was told tickets were guaranteed as theyd been sold by one of their best sellers. was told on the day of the event the order couldnt be fulfilled.
Stubhub promote their 'fan guarantee' but basically all that means is you might get a refund if you don't get your tickets.
was told i'd get a refund in 5-8 business days, i rang up 5 days after event and was told it hadnt been processed so needed to wait another 5-8 days.
Terrible experience, will use Viagogo next time.
In simple terms: If you use Stubhub theres no promise you'll ever receive your tickets.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with StubHub and would not use this platform again.
I purchased tickets for the Metallica concert in Budapest on June 13. According to StubHub, the tickets were supposed to be delivered on June 12. However, I never received them on the promised date.
I spent hours communicating with customer support through the chat service, only to be repeatedly told that tickets had been opened and the issue was being investigated. Unfortunately, nothing was actually resolved. To make matters worse, the customer service phone number is not easily available, and I only managed to obtain it through the chat after multiple attempts.
The call center agents themselves were very helpful and professional. Once I finally reached them, they managed to solve the issue by providing replacement tickets. However, this happened on June 13 at around 12:00 PM, while the concert was scheduled to start at 4:00 PM.
My family and I had traveled all the way from Romania to Budapest specifically for this event. Imagine the stress of spending money on transportation and accommodation while having no idea whether you would actually be able to attend the concert until just a few hours before it started.
In the end, we did get into the concert, but the entire experience was incredibly stressful and completely unacceptable for customers who have paid hundreds of euros for tickets.
While I appreciate the efforts of the call center team, the overall experience with StubHub was very poor. I would never purchase tickets through StubHub again and cannot recommend the platform to others.
Update: After this review, StubHub contacted me and offered financial compensation for the inconvenience, despite the fact that we were ultimately able to attend the concert. I genuinely appreciate this gesture and their willingness to acknowledge the situation.
I also want to recognize the professionalism of the call center agents, who did everything they could to help once I was able to reach them. I hope StubHub continues improving its ticket delivery process so that future customers do not experience the same uncertainty and stress.

A big thanks to lady who helped me finish my purchase for Real Madrid - Inter match on Saturday June 13th. I bought ticket day before but seller didnt send me the ticket, and 1h before the show I called +44 CS number, a real professional, she switched my ticket for a new one and I was able to enjoy the match, got a 1 row seat. It was little bit stresfull, but they did their part as promised. *****

Spent thousands to see a World Cup game only to be told the tickets had not been released and they "couldn't" find replacement tickets at similar value. Awful how they don't force the release of tickets until last moment because now we are without options. Thank you StubHub for costing me thousands of dollars.
They ruined our trip and customer service didn't give a crap and said there's nothing they could do. Well, I will NEVER book with them again.

This would be a 5star rating if it was only for the Stubhub customer services support i received when i had problems with navigating the challenging StubHub system for the first time , in particular their customer services expert D. SKYLAR , who was amazing ! - helping guide me through finally to a successful sale and transfer of my tickets in a friendly professional manner . If it had not been for her help , to be honest , I would have given up and tried another site . But because of Skylars help and the fact that Stubhub uses real people like her ( and also Abigail) one can talk to and solve problems in customer support as opposed to chatbots etc/emails etc which often end up in a death spiral full of frustration and failure , I will be using them again. An outfit that has a strong customer service focus, like Stub hub does deserves to have repeat business . Recommended !

My first and only time buying from a reseller site and it’s becoming a disaster. Was sold a ticket for a seat right next to the stage that’s apparently no longer available due to the venue ‘revising the seating layout’ with 6 days til the concert! There are still 22 seats in the same section available on StubHub right now yet I am being offered a replacement miles away from the stage (which they are classing as an improvement when it’s most definitely not) No-one answers when you phone. And every email you send - despite it being a response to an open issue thread - takes 24 hours+ for a reply. I don’t know how they manage to have customers when they treat them like this. To be fair the staff members are very polite but the service is abysmal. If it takes 24 hours to answer an email god help you if you have an issue the day of or day before your event! UTTER SHAMBLES.
Edit: after posting my review here, I read through some replies to other 1 star reviews, which prompted me to forward my issue to a complaints department. From there I was contacted by Juan Carlos M. from Madrid (?) I could not have received a better effort to help resolve my issue. Emails were followed up with calls, or replied to promptly. If all StubHub staff were at this level of service I’m sure StubHub would have a better reputation and happier repeat customers. Only due to his taking over my issue would I now consider (maybe) using StubHub again although it would be more a last resort. 5 STARS 🌟 for Juan Carlos M. But simply due to how things started I couldn’t give StubHub 5 stars. I know it’s World Cup fever at the moment but 24hrs+ for a simple reply just isn’t good enough guys.

My main concern is the lack of communication regarding cancelled orders.
The first tickets I purchased disappeared from my account without any notification, warning or explanation.
I was not informed by email that the order had been cancelled or that there was an issue with the seller. I only discovered this because I took the initiative to contact StubHub myself.
In order to find out what had happened, I had to make an international phone call from Germany to the UK, which resulted in additional costs.
Had I not called, I might not have learned about the cancellation until much later.
Another major issue was the lack of response from customer support via email. Multiple attempts to contact StubHub through the general support channels either went unanswered or I did not even receive confirmation that my inquiry had been received. This left me feeling completely unsupported during a stressful situation.
The only reason my overall impression improved was because of the exceptional support provided by Marie C., who personally followed up on my case, contacted sellers and provided clear communication. Without her involvement, my experience would have been extremely negative.
StubHub should improve:
Immediate notification when tickets are cancelled or removed from an account.
Clear explanations regarding the reason for cancellation.
Reliable responses to customer support emails and support tickets.
Better communication for international customers who may not be able to make expensive phone calls to customer service.
Unfortunately, based on my experience with the cancelled tickets and the lack of communication, I would currently be very hesitant to purchase from StubHub International again. The service I received from Marie was excellent, but the overall support process needs significant improvement.

It was my first time within this platform - and it was as a seller.
I was afraid from the fines and penalties that I could face in case of missing the deadlines specially when I had no control on it at all and that's the money will be received only 1 week at least after the event - so I was skeptic !!
Since I had no other choice as my travel cancelled, I took the risk to try recover my payments as a buyer, and it's worked thankfully with proper support from STUBHUB team alongside the way with allowing me stretch the deadlines as needed.
