I was pulled in to a whatsapp group for enquiries. I was asked if i have any preference to my accommodation. My first priority is nearest to my uni and at a more affordable cost. But one of the consultants straight up suggested me an accommodation that was nearly 20 minutes away from my uni at a high price. After some self research i found that there was another accommodation with 5 minutes walk away from my uni which is way cheaper WITH THE SAME APP… Besides another consultant was just very rushing me into booking and paying for the accommodation without me even having the time to think properly. Not to forget, they DO NOT REPLY TO YOUR MESSAGES! This would be one of the worst services i have encountered. Even after blue ticking your messages none of them would reply even it is an emergency question. ESPECIALLY AFTER YOU HAVE BOOKED THE ACCOMMODATION THROUGH THEM! Which is really disappointing…

It's a bit bad that I originally planned to take Islington, but it seems that way. Your partner has a problem Makes me have to find expensive accommodation. And I didn't get the studio I wanted.

Was mislead massively and in fact pressured into securing a place that thankfully I didn’t end up going to. There seemed to be an issue of language barrier or just plain ignorance on their half as they did not heer to the requests I made whilst applying for a place and just gave me the most expensive possible place, long contract, not enough facilities and an area known for questionable and illegal events happening. Would never use again

I decided to go with Student.com because they offered a £100 grocery shopping voucher, even though they charged an extra fee for the transaction, which none of the other companies I talked to did (they only charged for the actual price of your accommodation). However, after I paid the deposit and confirmed the booking, my assistant of Student.com contacted me saying the price had gone up and I needed to pay more. I asked if I could cancel and get a full refund, but he said only the deposit would be refunded, not the fee.
So I found a new place within my budget and asked if I could switch. He agreed, but I had to pay full deposit, with yet another additional fee! During the transaction, he asked me to reply with 'I confirm', but I noticed the move-in and move-out dates were wrong. He said he had to get them changed later, so I agreed.
Afterwards, I tried to follow up with him about the dates, but he never responded. I asked again and again, and he said he'd look into it, but still no response. Finally, after millions of attempts of asking him, he told me to contact the property myself.
I also asked him about the £100 voucher he promised it would be in my account once I moved in. Even though the contract started on 2 of September and I've already moved in, there's still no sign of the voucher. I reached out to him, but only got a response when I kept following up. He then said there was a technical issue and other students did not get a voucher as well, and I'd have to wait for it to be resolved. I asked him if he could suggest when, he said he didn't know at all.
So here I am, having paid more for the accommodation due to Student.com's additional fee, and still no sign of the promised voucher. I'm not sure if this is a real technical problem or a false advertising, but based on my experience with this company, I wouldn't recommend them to any of my friends. Booking directly with the accommodation is not only cheaper, but also quicker and more convenient. It seems like their assistants are just out to get a commission from you, without providing much actual help.

Student.com is really amazing customer service and helpful to the students who look for accommodation in abroad to study. I would specially mention Dinesh Kartik Sir who helped to look places which is as per our convenience and budget. He always attended the calls and replying the messages quickly with huge patience. He guided, helped me every step keeping his family problems aside. His father was serious in the hospital, even though he helped me a lot. I really appreciate his devotion to help and guide the students to book accommodation for the study in abroad.
