Excellent secure selling process and customer notification when selling a Rolex watch. However, some patience is required with timelines for advertising etc. I would certainly recommend Subdial as a high quality online watch retailer.

Can’t fault the Subdial team. Fair price based on market dynamics and quick payment once the watch arrived. No BS refurb fee like Watchfinder. They pay the price quoted. Great comms from the team too.

Speaking from a selling perspective, all communications were answered by email promptly.

Dropped the watch off at DHL which was delivered next day, and then inspected and payment within the 24-48 hours. The price offered was more than competitors had offered and a real fair price for the Rolex, without the hassle of a private sale. The full amount offered was paid without issue.

I will certainly use again for selling, and if buying in the future I will certainly use subdial. Highly recommended.

The service is great! Communications were perfect, always someone to answer questions when buying or selling.
I've bought and sold on consignment and recieved a lot more cash than i could've if sold privately. The platform is pretty good also.
When it comes to selling, they could have processed the sales payment sooner eg the morning after the 14days period for online sales. I had to remind them to make the payment and I'm still waiting for it to clear in my account. Should be soon though.

Another great experience dealing with Subdial. I worked with Rob to change an existing watch for 2 new watches and they always endeavour to make the deal work.
The Subdial space in Farringdon is always nice to be in and look forward to visiting more often for events and watch shopping.

The whole experience was straight forward. Communication was clear and helpful. I'd certainly use them again.

I have bought/sold more and one watch with Subdial, but I want to focus on the Royal Oak 15202 I recently bought through them.

I traded in another watch with Rob in order to purchase it and the sale went incredibly smoothly. I knew the market value and he right away gave me an honest price for the watch I wanted to sell.

I'm fortunate to be able to buy most of the watches I want at retail with a small amount of waiting, so the fact Subdial offer watches off the beaten path (read: interesting) and vintage is perfect for me!

I won't get into details but long story short there was a significant problem when it came to picking up my new watch. Rob called me instantly, took responsibility and sat down with me and offered several ways to make it right, which they did!

The reason I mention this is accidents happen. But what's important is how someone remedies it. And after that, I am still more than happy to trade with them. Their range is genuinely eclectic, but well-curated and fairly priced.

Something that instantly put my mind at ease is the face you can see their watchmaking workshop as soon as you walk in. I know what good watchmaking equipment looks like (yes, I'm that nerdy) and they have everything correct. It also turns out that I know of their head watchmaker! I got to see their test results on the quality of how the movement was running and it was the same as my equipment at home and those of the watchmaker at the AP boutique when I went in to have it looked over.

All too often we see either bad reviews or short one sentence positive ones. Having had the privilege to be able to visit watchmakers, brands and boutiques around the world I wanted to write this to make sure that people who are honest and go above and beyond are recognised (especially in this industry where many could be ripped off unknowingly)

I'd recommend Subdial and in particular Rob to friends and family (I already have) and look forward to seeing what they drop every Thursday. I'm already eyeing up my next piece!
