Highly Unreliable Delivery Representations

I found working with this company difficult. I ordered three pairs of MAC pants from them on June 26. One of the pants said "same day shipping," while the other two indicated "1 week delivery time." Based on that information I used my credit card to order the pants, and was immediately billed. The next day I received an email saying that ALL THREE pants were "in backorder," but delivery was expected within 1-2 weeks. About a week after that, I received another email indicating that two of the three pants I ordered were "out of stock," and that if I wanted a refund I needed to request it (why should I have to REQUEST a refund if the company doesn't have the product?). And why did their website initially indicate "1 week delivery" only to later find out the pants were not even available?? It appears they are just trying to get you to place an order (without even knowing if they have the product!) on the chance that if it's unavailable you'll just select something else. No longer trusting their website (as to product availability) I requested a refund for the two pairs of pants. In fairness, I did receive the refund several days later. However, the other pair of pants (the ones that indicated "same day shipping" on the day I ordered them on 6/26) did not arrive until nearly 3 weeks later. You cannot rely on any of their delivery representations, which is especially problematic if you are ordering anything for a particular event or occasion. If you have limited product, TELL THE CUSTOMER THAT AT THE POINT OF ORDER, not after you charge their credit card. I would seriously challenge ever ordering from this company again. If they respond, I imagine I will get a list of excuses, but that doesn't change the fact that their website misrepresents product availability!

I bought some MAC Chino which initially didn't arrive and was thinking I'd been ripped off but turns out was down to Dutch Postal strike. Soon as it ended my trousers arrived a day later. It was actually really efficient, so much so I immediately ordered another pair and will use them with confidence going forward.

Something I didn't initially add was I'm from the UK, since this review my 2nd pair of chinos have arrived in circa 5 days. Absolutely first class and would highly recommend!

No problem for me

No problem for me. The negative reviews gave concern, but they seem to be focused around returns. This was the only place I could find the thing I was trying to buy. I don't want to return what I bought, so I didn't have an issue. I would advise: use this company if you are very confident you will keep the thing. I was and am happy because it was cheap, quick and good quality. Don't use this company if you've more than 25% chance of wanting to return.

Avoid if you are buying from the UK

Avoid if you are buying from the UK. If you need to return the item you will have to pay an extortionate amount for postage plus have to go though customs formalities due to Brexit. Had I known that I was buying from the Netherlands I would not have bought in the first place

We are very sorry to hear that you have this feeling about ordering from us. We understand that it can be confusing that our website has a .co.uk domain, but returns have to be sent to the Netherlands.

Because we don't have free returns, we work with a partner to be able to provide cheaper return labels, at the moment the price is £14.95. After registering your return on our website, you can click on the link, and you'll be redirected to their website. When you purchase the return label there, the customs formalities are also taken care of. With these labels, the return parcel usually arrives in our warehouse in 3-4 work days. 

We appreciate your feedback and take your complaint seriously. We'll have a look at how this information is displayed on our website, so we can make it more clear for future orders.

Good reliable supplier, goods were as described, good quality... Tracking and delivery was excellent with regular updates throughout. Would order from the supplier again

Ordered 2 pairs of trousers 2 weeks ago…

Ordered 2 pairs of trousers 2 weeks ago and this week I’ve been refunded for 1 pair (reason unknown with no explanation). I don’t know the status of the other pair despite sending 3 emails. Really disappointed as Customer Service either can’t or don’t read my emails properly.

…delay/delivery was only late because it straddled Xmas hols!… came across this sore in the Netherlands online… quite simply they had just what I wanted!!…t shirts are a lovey design and snug fit!… suitable sent me small catalogue and returns sheet!… had already previously before Xmas.. came pretty quick!… will be ordering again from them in NY soon!!…

Impressed

Very impressed. Customer service was quick to respond and helpful in choosing the correct size. Got a good price too. £100 cheaper than in the UK. Fast shipping too, shipped same day of purchase and it arrived in the UK within 3 days.

Very Poor Customer Service

I ordered 3 pairs of men's pajamas for delivery to the US. Four weeks later I received an e-mail saying one of the items was out of stock, please pick a replacement. I e-mailed my replacement choice. Two weeks later I received another e-mail asking me to choose a replacement or receive a refund. I replied again with a replacement choice and forwarded the previous e-mail. Two days later I receive another e-mail asking if I want a refund. I replied asking if I was to receive my purchase or get a refund. They replied I was refunded for the entire order. I do not understand how they can run a business so badly. Apparently it took them four weeks to get to my order just to start. I will not buy from Suitable again and do not recommend it.
