They are a SCAM! Settle with your creditors personally and save yourself some money.

If I could give them a zero I would. They are terrible. I am military and reached out to them to help me get out of debt. I started their program in September of 2018. To this date May 29, 2020. They have not settled a single account. They claimed they settled 1, but can not provide me with any documents proving this. They told me they have an audio of the settlement that they could submit if I ever had to go to court. I don't believe that seeing as the "proof" they sent me was a piece of paper typed up in Word, with an account I don't own on it. I have have been calling them constantly for the past 6 weeks and they always promise that an account specialist is working my account and is going to call me back. His name is Gerard. He has never called me back. Every day there is an excuse. His phone is working, he had an emergency, etc. This has been going on for almost a month. When I told them I wanted to file a formal complaint they told me I had to do it with Gerard, because he is handling my case. How do i file a complaint against Gerard...... with Gerard! Meanwhile, I pay $660 a month for the program and almost 2 years later I am no closer to being out of debt than when I started. But I have paid them over 15k. And what's crazy is they are going to respond to this like they did to every other complaint and say they are going to contact me when that is a BOLD FACE LIE. Don't ever give these people your money. FYI I have been on hold waiting for Gerard the whole time I typed this complaint. Over 30 min. SMH.

Very poor response

When I call customer service is always very helpful but I could never get through to anybody who can do anything to help me. I have called a few times regarding accounts that are in litigation, I am told I will get callbacks and never do. I’m the one always have to call but can never get a hold of anybody that can give me actual information. I do not feel the process should be this hard, I am paying for the service and do appreciate the help but do you need feedback!

Wyo law firm has helped me negotiate my… credit cards.

Wyo law firm has helped me negotiate my credit cards by 50%. This has helped tremendously. The customer service is excellent and I always get an answer. I am about 70% thru the program and will "graduate" in 12 months. I had 8 credit cards. Be patient and work the program. I know it is hard to have creditors come after you, but again it is part of the process. Several of the law firms they work with know them and always negotiate. I will never get another credit card. This was my mess but they helped me clean it up. Yes I paid but again they have relationship with the creditors. It takes time. Thanks for helping me Wyo.

I'm very upset

I'm very upset. No one is communating with me on what is going on. I had a court date on 5/12, and no one informed me about what I was suppose to do. Was I required to show up? Was there a judgement agianst me? Are my assets going to be attached? The attorney would not take my case due to lack of funds, you set the monthly payment. Why was I not informed, about additional funds needed?
I feel that I need to file a complaint with both both the Wyoming, and Colorado bar associations, along with the Attorney General office for the State of Colorado. I'm a disabled veteran and they have a section which help veterans with consumer problems.
I want a conversation with an attorney involved with my program.
Respectfully.

Happy Client Since Dec 2018

I have been with Summit since December of 2018. I have had all of my questions answered every time I called, except for one time but I'm gonna let it slide because she was probably having a bad day. I was a bit skeptical going back and forth with the program thinking I may have signed up for a scam.

Wyolafirm/Summit requires your signed consent when a settlement has been negotiated with your creditor. Wyola/Summit reached a settlement with one of my creditors in September 2019. Since then I have checked my wyolafirm account to make sure my payments were in fact going to the creditor. The checks have the creditors main payment headquarters address on there so that made me feel better. I also recently noticed my credit score has been improving (slowly but surely). Credit Karma has the neat feature where it tells you why your score has improved/declined. My credit score has been improving because it stated that payments are being made towards my delinquent account that the settlement was set up in November. Now that account with that creditor is almost paid off! :)

So far so good, I'm still a little weary but everyone has been so helpful, as well as the assigned attorney for another creditor I have in the account.

I feel like some see Wyola/Summit as a scam because they don't fully understand the process. This entire process is a service, part of your payments go to your creditors, and part of your payments go to the middleman working on the accounts for you. It's just like paying someone to do your taxes but a bit pricier. Overall, for me it is still cheaper than having to pay the full amount on all accounts including the high interest!

I'm about 1/3 into my program with them and am a satisfied client at this time.

Wyolaw....formally Summit Law. BEWARE

This firm had 90 days to negotiate a settlement. On the 90th day, at 4pm there was still no action taken according to the last person I spoke to.
I had called this firm numerous times and more frequently in March to get a status update. I kept being told it was "escalated". They told me that my file case was picked up by an outside firm. That attorney didn't know who I was, said he would call me back but didn't even after numerous times my requesting a return call . I complained to WYO law a few times that that attorney wouldnt respond to me. After another wasted week I was told he had rejected my case and it was being brought back in house. Thats why wasn't calling me back! This is 1.5 week before my judgment defaults. Long story short, a supervisor, Priscilla (who by the way didnt call me back for 4 or 5 days, after the first rep neglected to report my request to speak to her) kept offering me false assurances that it was being looked at...and on the 90th day at 4pm I still got no call from her and she was busy in meetings all day. I terminated my contract with WYO right then so that i could call the debt collector and settle myself. This company caused me so much stress because of their gross incompetence. I wanted to put in a complaint but the only person I was told I could report it to was the supervisor, Priscilla, who is part of my complaint. So my only choice is to publicly share my awful experience with WYO LAW...formally known as SUMMIT LAW

DO NOT USE WYOLAWFIRM!!!!!!!!

Where to start? This company should be shut down! They are thieves. They had a lawyer from my area negotiating on my behalf. He actually got a decent settlement. I was happy with it. He sent the terms to Summit/Wyolaw firm. Next thing I know. I get papers from court that the company got approval for a garnishment in the full amount plus court costs. So I call Wyo. They tell me that there isn’t a lawyer assigned to that account and a settlement was never reached. Said they would take care of it and to not worry because the garnishment wouldn’t happen. Said they would call me back in a week to go over the negotiations. Never hear from them, so I start calling a couple times a week for a good 2 months. No one has a clue what is going on, but always tell me not to worry because they will handle it. Well now I am off work due to a very serious back surgery. Now I’m getting garnished. Now I’m being told that I need to start paying extra so they can negotiate it. Without extra money they can’t do anything. Signing up with Summit/WyoLawFirm was the worst decision that I have made in my life time. Am in so much trouble due to this debt. The worst part of all of this is I can’t stress or my back surgery could fail. But they maxed out my stress and there’s nothing I can do to lower it. Bernie Madoff didn’t screw people this bad. Several people at WyoLawFirm deserve PRISON.

Ended up filing for bankruptcy

They don’t deserve a star.. Same situation with all reviews here and I think everyones on the same page.. Thinking Summit Law Firm will help me they gave me more problems.. Its my 1 year anniversary with them and a month ago I have received a summons with one of my creditors.. I haven’t gone to court yet but instead they gave my case in another firm to resolve it.. A paralegal contacted me and upon talking to her she pulled up another summons thats been sitting and me not having any idea about it.. So now instead of 1 I got 2 summons already.. I called summit to discuss about the 2nd summons that was pulled up and asked me to go to the clerk where my summons is being held to get re-served again.. Which doesn’t make any sense.. I called back the paralegal about summits instruction and she asked why am I the one going to the clerk which I’m not suppose to do.. That I just need to take out extra funds to settle the account myself which I wont have anymore.. Getting stressed with everything I ended up filing for bankruptcy.. I should have done this in the first place I should have been rebuilding now instead of drowning more with problems.. PLEASE STAY AWAY AND CHECK THEM AT BBB.COM.. My lawyer will be contacting you guys and you better fix a refund coz it didn’t go anywhere.. PLEASE PEOPLE this is a very hard lesson to learn if your debt is 50% more your salary don’t do debt negotiation.. Try to do a debt management or consider bankruptcy coz debt settlement program will not resolve you problem its gonna give you more.. Check everything on BBB.COM it really helps..

Summit Law Firm (Wyo-Law Firm) misrepresents itself

In September 2018, I became a client of Summit Law Firm (Wyo-Law), with the understanding that they would handle all of my debt, negotiate terms with my creditors and would be debt free in approximately 3 years. In hindsight, as the old saying goes if it sounds to good to be true it is. I called in monthly and was told that “my account was right on track, everything was going well”. Everything that I received from creditors I forwarded to Summit Law Firm via email. In the beginning I was told that if I ever had to be in court, that they would have a lawyer in my area contact me, and go to court with me. And actually a few weeks after I signed up with Summit there was a lawyer representing Summit Law Firm from my state contact me. I talked to him again on my 1 year anniversary with Summit. Shortly after, I was served with court papers on 2 of my debts that I immediately sent to Summit Law Firm. I started calling Summit Law Firm about twice a week trying to find out what was going on only to be told that the account was in negotiations. I contacted Summit Law Firm and was told that I would have to go to court alone, that I would have to file a General Response letter to file with the court. I went to court, got an extension on the court dates (as I was told to do by Summit Law Firm), when talking with the creditors attorney, they informed me that they had never been contacted by Summit Law Firm. So after having almost 10,000 in 15 months deducted from my checking account by a 3rd party that Summit hires to take care of the money, Summit Law Firm got 6795.00 of that money. Needless to say I discontinued my association with them in December 2019. So do yourself a favor….. DO NOT USE SUMMIT LAW FIRM (WYO-LAW FIRM). THEY ARE A RIP-OFF AND DO NOT DO WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO
