Same as ALL of the other complaints

Same as ALL of the other complaints. They appeared to have lost a $500 deposit to be made on one of my accounts as ORDERED by a judge in civil court and never paid them. Now I'm in violation of a court order. Over 10,000 sent to them since December 2018, and I don't even know where the money went. Forget about talking to them and getting a straight answer. Get out and talk with your accounts yourself and save a ton of wasted money.

Our daughter went through a nasty…still no reply after said they would reach out.buyer beware.

Our daughter went through a nasty divorce that left her without the ability to support our two grandchildren. we are helping but in the meantime, she heard about Summit and decided to trust them. She sent them over $2,000 and finally a local lawyer sent them a letter to cancel and return any money not used. Four four months they charged her fees, never contacted her and never paid anything toward her bills. She has tried to contact them and she gets a different answer each time. She is willing to pay for services that they said were done, with proof. Will not return any part of the money and they always say she has to talk to a supervisor but the supervisor is missing in actions. What a scam. Will contact the federal government, the state government and any political person who might help on her behalf. Single mothers after a divorce should never be treated this way. Bad enough a run around husband was a looser and now this.
REPLY
Yes I would love to talk to you. Have not heard from you and bet we will not. The number of times you were called and never an answer other than the supervisor is not in or we will call you back. If you like I will call you, give me a name and a number.
Second reply. No contact was made nor any effort to give me a contact person to call. Time to notify the authorities and federal and state agencies. This is taking advantage of single mothers involved in a divorce. I as the father am a business person a medical professional so will make every effort to get the world out.

Be careful

Be careful! It's fraud! They said they took care of everything and told me not to contact creditors. But the debt was not paid at all, I was sued and they didn't represent me. My account is levied.

They take your money and don't pay your bills. They now have 6000 dollars from my account and my checks are getting garnished. When asked to get my money that is supposedly in a account they said there is only 800 dollars because they need to get paid too. Stay away from this company.

Terrible company!

Terrible company!! They take their fees first and leave you hanging. I put over 5,000 dollars and 13 months of honest payments. What I got in return was a bunch of lip service. I had to file bankruptcy with a local attorney. They paid very little on my settlements, my credit score tanked, I have 3 accounts in collection they did nothing. Telling me that's a "good thing". What a bunch of rip off artists who take advantage of good hard working people.Who are looking for help and guidance.Stay away from this firm of scam artists..File Bankruptcy or work it out with creditors..

Dont waste your money with this Law Firm.
I deeply regret to hired Summit Law Firm.
Just received an official notification from The bank and even After I notified Summit Law, they didn’t act. You always get automatic replies from the emails as answer. To make it worse, they informed I should be the one writing to the court . Why do I need to pay a Law firm if they don’t answer in my behalf ?

DO NOT USE THEM THIS IS THE WORST…

DO NOT USE THEM THIS IS THE WORST PROGRAM OPTION! They have not represented me. I am now about to go to court because they have not reached out to my debt collectors. I have made ALL my payments on time and are debited straight out of my account. Now that my credit has gone from over a 700 to low 500's they are offering me a terrible APR loan to pay off the creditors. Mind you, the whole reason I even reached out was bc they offered a false low apr loan structure to payoff these cards. I will now be paying them well over $10,000 for NOTHING. Then the $3,200 that was put in my escrow to supposedly pay off the debt is only $498. TOTAL SCAM! I have learned if you just go to your credit card company they will help you with out them!

MAking payments and getting back to me.

I have tried reaching out a few times to Summit Law Firm and they keeping telling me they will get back to me by email. I have got no emails back from you or your attorneys. I have gotten numberous phone calls from the creditors and you tell me I shouldn't speak with them and you will deal with it. But nothing happens on your end. I have gotten summons from the courts and also threatens to garnish my wages. My credit score also keeps getting lower and lower. Also the bills keep going higher and higher as they add interest and late fees to the bills.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!! They take your money and leave you hanging in the face of a lawsuit. They've left me with no representation, a judgement was granted almost 2 months ago, and they still haven't responded with how they will resolve things. They don't call you, you have to call them daily and you get scripted responses from customer service reps. Now they have my money, I have a judgement, and I'm in worse debt than when I signed on with them. Don't believe me? Check them out at the Better Business Bureau.

What is going on with my account?

Summit Law Firm name changed to Wyo Law Firm. Have been paying in for about a year and an addition $5K, have asked repeatedly as to what bills have taken care of. The on 26 August there was a debit from my account of a little over $1K, I did not authorize. When I called to try and get it back, I was informed that I did and they had recorded it. The problem is with their associates not being proficient with the system. I asked for a copy of that alleged tape, nothing yet. Several calls and promises of restitution, so far nothing. I could name all the people I talked with but, won't help. I want the money back, an accounting of where my money is and going and updated time line of completion of the program. If you have question go to BBB and read the complaints,

Hypocrites or Honorable?

Well, I was served with a Summons tonight at7:05 p.m. to appear in court Nov.12th. 2019. You people have only given lip service. You don’t care who you abuse. I’m 67 years old and on limited income. You came into my house and promised results. You lied to me. I’m requesting a full accounting of a monies sent to you. Some of these reviews are alarming. I’ll add one other note, I’m an ordained minister that had a terrible accident and I managed to pay all my bills in a timely manor and on time. Now, with late fees and interest they have doubled.

I have been calling these guys day after day for update. Every time i hear one answer that "work is in progress".I have submitted law suits almost 30 days back and they say still they are negotiating. I don't know when would they give straight answers .Now i have to go the court and pay the fees in addition and wait for these guys to negotiate which won't happen soon.Confused about this firm and how they operate. I have to deal with the lawyers and court myself even though law firm is charging fees for all these things.

Summit/Wyo Law has done NOTHING for me but taken my money

Summit/Wyo Law has done NOTHING they said they would. I have paid in over $5K in the last 8 months and they never sent any letters to my creditors, nor did they represent me in court when I was sued by one of them, which they said they would. They lied to me on several occasions saying that "Litigators are working to make a deal with the lender" and in fact they never even contacted the creditor because I spoke with that attorney who is suing me. I was the one who got them to drop the charges and I am back on track making my payments to my creditors instead of to Wyo. They have great customer service people on the phone who who to great lengths to reassure you that everything is fine but in fact I'm finding out it is all a lie. I have wasted more than 30 hours on the phone with them in the last 3 months and have gotten lots of nice people reassuring me but basically NO follow through. I just closed my account and will hire an attorney to try and get my money back. What a horrible thing to do to people who are desperate for help with finances. Now my credit rating is poor and it's all because I stopped paying them and starting giving the money to Wyo because they convinced me I could have my debt reduced and paid back in 4 years instead of 10. It's a horrible system - don't do it!

I have been trying so hard to get help - I paid our account in full as per several conversations. Nothing being done when I am told things are being done. Then I have to call and send messages every few weeks for the last 3 months to be told it is fixed just so I can find out later nothing is being done, then have to repeat my self. I was nice, to frustrated to now I am in tears cause I cannot get help. Started the program a year ago. They now have all my money for ONE creditor. They still cannot handle it. I will keep trying since I cannot afford another lawyer. I have never received a monthly check call, ever. I have to call and get different stories each time.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! DO NOT START PROGRAM

My name is Jennifer. I cancelled my account back in June with WyoLaw Firm/ Summit Law firm as it was previously named. The reason for my cancellation was that they did absolutely nothing about my debt. I paid 2200.00 in fees pretty much with nothing to show for it. None of my creditors were contacted. But whatever thats not why im complaining. I requested and was granted a refund of a portion of fees in the amount of $750.00 by a "manager" named Kevin. I've spoken to him no less than 10 times in regards to when and by whom my refund would be issued. He claimed 3-5 business days from July 26th that my refund would come ACH from Global Client Solutions (GCS) into my bank. GCS is the payment processing company that processes your payments every month. (Please do not fall for their lies stating that GCS is a bank account where your funds are held because its really not. All they do is draft your monday and dispurse it to WYOLaw and your creditors get nothing.) I've called GCS they have no record of my $750.00 refund, in fact they claim that once my accounts been closed nothing can come back through it so Kevin is lying apparently. Ive called and asked to recieve a call back and havent heard back from Kevin or anyone else. This company is a scam and a complete fraud. I am fed up and just want my money and the correct date to which i will recieve it. Eventually there will be enough complaints to where hopefully they will close down. Changing thier company name does nothing to or for the 100s of people they've scammed out of thousands of dollars. I WANT MY REFUND AND I WANT IT NOW!!!!! And i will not stop fighting this until its given.

UPDATED - Did nothing until a lien is recorded on my property

UPDATE: As you can see on July 26th someone has responded to my review here stating that I will contacted by the law firm. Today us August 9th and I am yet to receive a call.
Instead, I called them 4 times in the past 10 days and have heard a good deal of lies. Every time they say we have reached out to the creditor and they are not responsive.
When I said I want to talk to a manager, the customer service rep brought in somebody named Kevin and he told said he is asking the negotiator or his manager call me or he personally will call em to give me an update. One week later it turned out that Kevin is not even a manager and, obviously he never called me back. Just connect the dots here, people. Stay away from these guys.

One year ago, I received a mail reading that a company named Summit Law Firm can help me settle my debt with my credit company. We signed an agreement and they started drafting money from my account on a monthly basis (~$600). I was told not to contact my creditor or answer any calls. After a couple months I received letters from my creditor to threatening me to sue me. I sent the letter to Summit Law Firm and asked them what I need to do now. They said they will send a letter to my creditor and will let them know that Summit Law Firm is representing me. This letter never sent out. After 6 months, I received a summon from the court and it turned out the creditor has sued me. Again I scanned it and sent it to Summit Law Firm. I was told that they will represent me in the court and I don't need to be worried about it. They never showed up for the hearing. Three months later I received a letter from the court informing me that the creditor recorded a lien on the property I own. I contacted Summit Law Firm seeking an update on my case and they said they just assigned my case to a negotiator and the negotiator will give me an update soon.
So far, they have drafted my account for 12 months and done absolutely nothing. They never bothered calling/emailing/updating me. Every time I call them, they keep saying that they are working on my case and then I receive another letter from the court showing the creditor has gone farther.
Last time I called Summit Law Firm (just today), they said I have to pay 9-12 months so they collect enough money in my account before they start negotiating my debt with the creditor. I have paid them for 12 months, already, so this is irrelevant.
In the past 12 months they have drafted over $6500 from my account which I am not sure will ever make it to the creditor.
As of a month ago, the creditor went ahead and recorded a lien on the property I own and every time I call Summit Law Firm, the customer service rep. says they are working on my case. I called three times and was not successful to talk to the negotiator assigned to my case, if this person ever existed.

Uncertain, didn't know what to expect, we made the right choice!!

We have no experience in what we are going through. Going through lots anxiety and no ideal what to expect. They have answered all our questions (many) and concerns over a period of time. Made us more comfortable in what we are going through. They took care of everything. If ever had to do this again, we would use this firm. They have helped us with our financial problems. Our credit score is slowly going back up...that's a plus to us :) :)
