We arrived at the marina in Lefkas late on a Sunday evening. We were taken to our boat and initial thoughts were how well-spec’d it was, and how new and clean it looked. Bear in mind I’m a 60-yr old from the Midlands. Never sailed before other than a pleasure cruise; not a clue if I was going to be seasick or apprehensive about being on a 44-ft tub for a whole week. I needn’t have worried; next day, our fab skipper Tom introduced himself and gave us a thorough briefing. My brother and sister in law had sailed before, my wife an I were complete novices. Our skipper asked what we wanted from our holiday; we said we wanted to learn/help sail the boat, see some beautiful islands, ports and let him choose the best places to sail to. He did not disappoint.
We got to to learn sailing terminology, help put sails up, alter them whilst sailing, have a go at everything except reversing the boat while mooring up, and leaving the next morning. Wonderful holiday, the places we visited were all stunning, the restaurants/tavernas were amazing, the whole holiday was just perfect. Yes, from a landlubber. Just perfect. Thankyou so much, Tom, Phoebe and the sun sail team; it was a pleasure to meet you, spend time sailing under your (and John’s 👏🏻) expert guidance, and to spend a week getting to know you as a person.
We truly could not have wished for anything more from such a fantastic experience.
Can’t wait to come back !

Amazing week away on a skippered charter in Greece- the boat was well equipped in mint condition, and as a first time sailor travelling with family, the experience was fantastic.
Tom our skipper was brilliant, allowing us to build up some basic skills through patient teaching, whilst at the same time allowing the two more experienced crew members we went with, the flexability to put their knowledge in to practice. We visited beautiful out of the way places and were able to moor up in little villages for some lovely Greek cuisine. An experience that will stay with me a lifetime.

An excellent week sailing! Skipper Liv, Vlad and Becka were a great lead boat team offering as much or as little help as we wanted. I would highly recommend Sunsail Dubrovnik to everyone.

Enjoyed a fabulous Lefkas flotilla on a Dufour 38.3. The flotilla crew (Manu,Phoebe and Max) were the best we've ever had - really stepped up to ensure we had a great time and took all the stress out of mooring up each evening. Highly recommend.

One week flotilla from Dubrovnik Base. Sunsail Crew were fantastic from start to finish, the boat was immaculate (premier class) electric everything!! Liv, Becca & Vlad ran the lead boat professionally & safely as well as always remembering we were on holiday. Karcula was especially special and the Croatian people are lovely but beware the restaurants can be expensive on the Islands.

The staff at check-in was very helpful and informative. Our Captain took very good care of us and took us to the best places to snorkel. His choice of restaurants was top-notch.

The boat was in perfect condition. Following the inventory, everything was in-place that should be there.
The briefing was useful and pointed to all the nice places to visit. Food in Croatia was pretty good too.
I can only suggest 2 improvements. The Tender was adequate but a slightly larger one would be better.
Also, am anchor chain snubber would be nice to stop chain noise at night.
Other than that, really good sailing holiday. I'd definitely use Sunsail again.

First time sailing in the BVI and we had a great time. Six of us on a 42’ monohull and we loved the friendly vibe everywhere we went. The people were all so friendly and helpful.
The Check in and briefing process were good and the boat was in good condition, although the vang broke while sailing. The tender and engine were a little battered but worked very well. All in all a great weeks sailing.

We found the Sunsail staff in Lefkas to be straightforward, efficient, friendly and helpful.
The boat, a Dufour 37.3, was just what was needed for sailing the six of us around the Inland Sea of the Ionian Sea - and we particularly enjoyed having the BBQ on the stern.

The Catamaran was in really good condition and very well equipped. Staff were friendly and very quick to respond to questions and problems. However the briefing on the boat and all the many many systems was haphazard and left a lot out which caused us issues later. A bespoke Sunsail boat user manual would be really helpful. The manufacturer manuals on the boat were far too technical, installation guides or missing (e.g. the Raymarine MFD had no instructions).

Great personal service, both through the booking agent in the UK and also the local staff in Antigua.

Great customer service and great experience. Keeps us going back to BVI with Sunsail every year. If we charter elsewhere, Sunsail is always the first company we look to do it with. Had nothing but good experiences with them.

A group of us sailed out of Road Town in Tortola. All Sunsail employees were very professional and helpful. The boat was in good condition, and we sailed for a week in 22 - 30 knot winds and large waves. We had very minor issues that we were able to resolve our selves. We sailed with this same company last year, and I noticed an improvement of the good experience we had last year.

Booking process very easy, Nancy was very helpful great to deal with. Sunsail provided us with lots of information in advance about the cruising area, the boat and facilities on board. Staff at the marina very friendly and when we had a couple of issues with the boat they were fixed very quickly. Very strong winds at the start of the week, it was October though, so always a risk. Advantage fewer boats around so most of the time beautiful unspoilt beaches to ourselves. We all had a fantastic week, would definitely go back, loads to see and do and the people are so friendly. Catamaran was great, well equipped and plenty of room. Thank you to everyone at Sunsail!

We did a yacht charter with a skipper in the British Virgin Islands. The base at Tortola was very well organised with very friendly staff. Our skipper “Andrew” was amazing. His local knowledge and sailing experience was first class.It was my husband who wanted to do the sailing holiday and having a skipper to sail with made our holiday possible. Our skipper, Andrew, was so easy to get along with and made our holiday perfect. We experienced exceptionally windy conditions but Andrews experience made us feel safe at all times. A truly memorable holiday. Thank you

We sailed in the BVI for 10 days in January 2025. Our Skipper Rico was great. The boat was great. The base experience was great. The only reason for a 9, not 10, is that communication with the Tortola Base prior to our charter was non-existent. We are repeat customers, and feel that Sunsail/Moorings locally should have contacted us well before our arrival to ask about our expectations/hopes for this charter. We hired a skipper/captain for this charter and would like to have had a conversation about that prior to arrival as well: we self provision and there was uncertainty about provisioning and logistics for our skipper. A brief conversation well prior to our arrival would have been very appropriate, but that didn't happen. We hoped to sail to Culebra/Vieques/Culebrita but were unable to make that happen for a variety of reasons that could have been worked out if we'd been contacted by Sunsail/Moorings prior to our arrival.

We planned this trip for a year and were excited once we got on the boat. We had our own Captain so provisioned the boat ourselves. It was seamless and the staff at Sunsail were more than helpful when we needed to make an extra trip to the market for a few more supplies before we pushed off for our adventure. Great staff, very professional and the boat was pretty well equipped with kitchen supplies.
We had a few days of rain so a lot of our towels got wet. I called Sunsail on a Sunday and we had clean dry towels within an hour at the dock we tied up to. I was very impressed by their quick response!
I would recommend Sunsail to my friends and family.

Modern yacht and an experienced skipper. We had a lovely tour from st Lucia to adjacent islands.
