$8000 disaster

Absolutely horrific experience. Ordered a lay down 110v sun tanning bed and a tanning canopy. The canopy was shipped about two weeks after purchase. Suntanningstore.com reached out to an installer (he only installs pool tables and had no idea why the company asked him) and delivery details were confirmed. However, the company then FIRED THE INSTALLER WITHOUT TELLING HIM and he found out from me! They hired a different installer after my canopy was picked up and never even told him. Disgusting that you would put that responsibility on a customer. This proved to be the most professional part of the purchase. The bed has been a multi thousand dollar mess and mistake. It was delayed for weeks with no reason given and that ended up going to a different installer, who then picked up a 220v bed when I ordered 110v so I can use it in my house. Instead of sending me what I asked for, they offered to have an electrician come out and rewire a breaker for a bed I can’t use. My home is a rental right now so rewiring is out of the question and that is precisely why I ordered a 110v. Amanda has given me any and every excuse instead of rectifying the situation, I’ve now started a claim with the bank to get my money back and send my business elsewhere and the several thousand I tried to spend here. Save yourself the trouble and find a good company.

Suntanningstore.com is a fantastic, efficient, and easily accessible store for all your phototherapy needs. I ordered the Radiance 9000 lamps to outfit a functional standup unit for my apartment. Amanda has been incredibly responsive to my inquires for customer support. The lamps came VERY fast and while one lamp was shattered upon delivery, it was promptly replaced in a few days. I cannot wait to try more lamps from them in the future. I highly recommend acquiring lamps and products from suntanningstore.com!

I highly, highly recommend this company! I reached out to so many others, but they all wanted to call me—and I wasn’t ready to buy yet. I just wanted to chat through messages. These guys answered every question I had, from the bed to the setup, without any pressure. I won’t be purchasing until July, but when I do, I’m getting everything from them. They went above and beyond, no call needed—just perfect!

Your company had some of the best…

Your company had some of the best prices. When you said that it would take at least 6 weeks more to get the lamps I ordered, you came up with an equivalent to that lamp. I needed 24 lamps. When they arrived within 3 days I was pleasantly surprised. Only to find out that I had ordered the wrong lamps. I ordered bi-pin. Oops my mistake. You quickly let me know that I could order a conversion, to be able to keep the lamps. When they arrived 3days later I installed them and my lamps worked perfectly. My original order came with 1broken lamp, I reached out again and they shipped me the replacement.All within 3 days. Now everything is great. I couldn’t ask for a better company to do business with.And I’ll definitely be telling other people about your company. Thanks again The suntanning Store.

I don't know if I would risk the money and get a bed that doesn't work

They replace the top piece that was cracked But the tanning be had 8 bulbs that didn't not work and it's been almost a year going calling emailing to get it fixed. The ballast is out and they can't get anyone out to fix it. I was sent 4 new ballast. Still not fixed. I don't know if I would risk $4000 for a bed that doesn't work.

Dear Ellie. I apologize for your frustration and the situation in choosing the wrong spray head for your spray tanning turbine. We always encourage customers to ask questions if they are not sure what part or product to order and if we make a mistake in directing them we will provide returns or exchanges without any fee. When a customer does make a mistake and orders the wrong product and would like to exchange we may need to deduct the shipping costs on the order from the refund. Some of the professional parts you see on our site also ship direct to buyers from the manufacturers and they many charge a restocking fee to return an item. If a customer buys a product of the type you did and and decides to make an exchange with us for the correct product we will pay the manufacturer restocking fee ourself and you will not be charged that as we explained in our emails to you. However, if a customer does not want to exchange and only wishes to return the product to the factory for a refund (as you did in this case) the manufacturer may charge a restocking fee and the shipping costs will be deducted from the return. If you had exchanged the product for the correct item you would have received free shipping to send you the correct product and you would only have paid for the actual shipping costs on the incorrect order as we would have paid the restocking fee. I am very sorry for the situation and poor experience..

DON'T BELIEVE THE DELIVERY...Issue with the bed from the startTIMES ON WEBSITE

It has been 7 weeks since I made my purchase, still no tanning bed. No one can give me an actual fulfillment date or shipping date! I was told the warehouse was in the midst of moving to a new location. Well, the warehouse should have made this information available to the Suntanning store to tell their customers. Not very good customer service on either parties part. It's frustrating to pay for a purchase and have to wait weeks and weeks for any updates!**UPDATE AS OF 07/13 STILL NO BED ORDER STILL SHOWS UNFULFILLED. Everytime I email them, I get a different answer on the delivery date. Note: they did compensate me with a 100.00 credit, but at this point, that is not enough.*****As of 8/16, I still cannot use the bed, 3 weeks after receiving it. The was an issue right off. Some of the bottom bulbs did not light up, but the bulbs are good. Next time I turned it on, 8 bottom bulbs not working. Supposedly they are shipping new parts for the bed and a technician is supposed to come fix it. This has been the most frustrating ordeal. We will see if and when a tech actually comes to fix it. I have wasted alot of time just trying to get this issue resolved. UPDATE 8/30, I still don't have a working bed. It's been collecting dust for over a month now. Replacement parts were received over a week ago, but as of today, still no information as to when a technician will be here to fix the issue. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

Dear Sheila, we apologize for the situation and your frustration with your May order of the ESB Tanning Bed. All ESB tanning beds and booths are made to order and shipped direct to buyers from the ESB factory and this is handled the same by all sellers.

At the time of your order the ESB factory was asking sellers to expect shipments in approximately 6 weeks after order placement. However, in early June ESB moved out of their old factory and into a new facility (all departments including manufacturing, inventory warehousing, shipping etc.). This full physical relocation of their entire business was more complicated than expected and the resumption of business took longer than estimated. There were certain hard to predict variables involved in the move that made it hard for the ESB factory to make good shipping estimates on specific orders.

However, The ESB factory is now fully back up and running and working hard to get caught up on their shipping queue. The tanning bed on your order shipped from the new ESB factory on 7/24 and after it was received you reported sone of the lamps were not working. After you reported the issue to us we immediately contacted the service and warrant group at the factory and asked that they correct the issue. At this time the factory is working to schedule a local technician to make the repairs under the manufacturer warranty and we expect the bed to be operating perfectly very soon. I again sincerely apologize for this situation and poor customer experience.

Do not deal with this company

Do not deal with this company. Charged $450 to ship. Then said they can't deliver to my address, unless you help unload the truck???? What?? They needed a smaller truck? I live in a normal neighborhood. Most neighbors, as myself, were moved into our house via a large semi? Seems like a scam on shipping. Doubt I'll see my purchase. Taking it up with my credit card.

We are always disappointed to see a customer unhappy for any reason. In this case we worked to try and resolve an issue our customer experienced with the freight company Southeastern Freight www.sefl.com in delivering a tanning canopy order in a positive way and we are sharing those details below so readers have full context on what occurred. Mr. Owens ordered a Tanning Canopy from us on May 30th and it was shipped to him by the manufacturer with their carrier Southeastern Freight www.sefl.com and a delivery attempt was made on June 11th. The delivery address is on a small narrow dead end road with full tree cover in some locations as shown in Google Maps. It would be helpful for readers to see this address to appreciate the challenge of a full sized 18 wheel freight truck accessing and exiting the location but we cannot provide the exact location to maintain privacy.

Our shipping policy as well as those of all other sellers of tanning equipment shipped by freight requires an address be accessible to a full sized 18 wheel truck and if it is not deemed accessible then the delivery may be done in an alternative location. However, in most cases a freight shipping company may also be able to use a small box truck to access some locations rather than asking a customer to meet the full sized truck at an alternative location. Also, freight deliveries are made with curbside delivery which means the delivery truck gets as close as possible to the address on the public street and delivers the shipment curbside. For this delivery, the freight company assessed the address and did not feel a full sized 18 wheel truck could access and exit the road so rather than delivering the shipment to an alternative street they tried delivery in a small box truck. With this small truck the driver was able to reach the front of the customer's address but the 85 lb. canopy needed to be taken off off the back of the truck. The driver and also the customer told us he refused to remove the canopy from the back of the box truck and rejected the delivery.

We tried communicating with Mr. Owens and the freight company to find a resolution between the two but in our last communications with the customer on June 10th he felt the shipping company should have the staff to bring the shipment to his door and if not then into his driveway and if not he would contact his credit fard company to submit a chargeback. On June 11th, we received an email from the customer stating he had spoke to the freight company and agreed to let them try another delivery on Friday June 14th with the small truck and would help off load the canopy. On June 14th we were notified by the customer he had accepted the delivery but later discovered some lamps inside were dislodged and he could not reset them. We immediately notified the factory and they began work to resolve. The factory spoke to the customer and offered to either have a technician come repair the canopy or to send him a brand new replacement canopy free of charge. However, the factory told us the customer refused both options so we have forwarded him the details to have the canopy shipped back to the factory and returned.

This situation is unfortunate and demonstrates the value in reviewing shipping processes before placing orders as well as email notices that you receive from sellers. We have these details regarding freight shipments posted on our website and also send 2 supplemental emails to buyers that include details on delivery requirements and what to expect. We do this to avoid customer surprise and frustration with freight shipments but unfortunately not every customers reviews the information on the website or in the email communications we provide. If anyone reading this review has any question whatsoever about freight shipments and how they work please reach out to ask as we have successfully helped customers navigate many thousands of different freight shipments and deliveries over the last 10 years.

BRONZING SUN BULBS EXCELLANT SERVICE

THIS company was excellent in helping me purchasing tanning bulbs i have not change my bulbs in 20 years shame on me but they were still working i thought its time so Amanda helped me out with different types of bulbs told me what would fit my bed after weeks of looking i just kept going back to this place she took the time to text with me so i could really understand so on April 30 2024 i decided 24 bronzing sun reflector 100 watt bulb they arrived 3 days i was impressed how well they were package there were no broken bulbs and for some reason I got an extra bulb so i got 25 im truly happy ive put them in cleaned all acrylic they work excellent I m real happy with the customer service shipping great and Amanda was great Thank you keep up the good customer service Paul Peloquin orange city Fl

THE BEST service & delivery

I am the buyer at a spa that does spray tans. The Tanning Store has THE BEST customer service. I'm consistently impressed by them. They ship everything out immediately and they ship it well. We have always received orders before expected and solution has never been spilled or broken. We had an issue with spray tan guns in the past and they rectified it and asked us to send the defective guns to study what went wrong. Can't speak more highly of their team!
