Been booking with Sunweb for a couple of years now, cant fault the website, organisation and price of trips!
I have recommended it to a lot of friends which have gone on to use also.

-I never book flights through the system as you cant just select a ski bag (I take a big ski bag with clothes in it) and one normal bag between 2 people.
-It would be good if you offered transfers only

Exceeded the legal timeframe for refund
My experience with Sunweb has been extremely disappointing. My holiday was originally booked for Folgarida, and I paid for Sunweb’s Premium Exchange Guarantee. Using that option, I changed the destination to Ortisei. Shortly afterwards, I was informed that the accommodation had suffered a fire and that the alternative accommodation Sunweb offered was not guaranteed to have spaces. I therefore requested a full refund on 7 November 2025, which Sunweb confirmed would be paid within 14 days.
Despite this, I received only a partial refund, and Sunweb has still not refunded the full deposits I originally paid (£838.36 and £406.09).
Communication has been extremely poor. Every time I call, I have to explain the entire situation from the beginning, as no one seems to know what is happening with my case and why the refund is taking so long. I was also told that a “different department” is handling it, but there is no way for customers to contact them, leaving me with no updates at all. A formal complaint sent on 27 November has also gone unanswered.
At this point, I have had to consider escalating the matter through my bank and consumer protection agencies just to recover my own money.
Based on my experience, I would urge others to be cautious when booking with Sunweb, especially regarding refunds and customer service when issues arise.

It is also a shame that your preferred accommodation was not available due to a fire.
We needed some time to investigate your complaint and we have now replied to it.
There is a question for you in our reply so please kindly respond to that.
There are several departments in our organisation and in the case of your bookings, the customer service team had to liaise with two other teams. One team that works directly with the accommodations (that contacted you directly) and the finance team that work with refunds.
This meant that the communication took longer than usual.
We apologise for this inconvenience.
