I have only booked my ski holiday so far with Sunweb, so excited to see how it goes..... I found the booking process really easy with lots of options to personalise it for me, and I have received informative emails as a follow up. Only one small issue, I have submitted a query and not received a reply as yet, but as its not super important I will not worry.....
Hopefully my holiday will be as good :)

Easy booking but when I went to complete the booking on my second attempt you had removed the included bronze ski hire. Cost me an extra £74
Other than that it was a realy good ski deal. Hope the food is better than the bad comments.

Easy to book, have used for a few ski trips now. Always goes smoothly when we get there.

Paid almost £ 3000 for Christmas holiday at this "4 stars hotel" for 7 days . Food rubbish. No Christmas menu. Asked to pay extra to have one, totally refused. Even if we didn't know if it was included or not. Also.. don't count on the swimming pool as the water is very cold.

I've booked through sunweb 4 times now. Each has been very a similar experience. The accommodation varies. Ultimately you get what you pay for. If you go for a cheap apartment or hotel, expect a 1 or 2 star experience. Level up to 4 or 5 star and it's obviously much better, but much more expensive.
It's rare sunweb sort everything for you. You usually have to hunt down the ski passes from the ticket office in town with no instructions. Same for rental equipment. The vouchers on the app never work so take your invoice and passport with you as evidence you've paid.
Only twice has a sunweb rep been in the resorts we've visitied and they were always drinking in the bars and not approachable.
When booking check the room sizes. The pictures rarely match the reality. They show pools and claim ski in/ski out sometimes too when not true so do your research.
In summary, yes they are cheaper than others but it does come at a cost. Don't expect much and you'll be fine.

The hotel was clean, friendly and the food was excellent. We were skiing at the most expensive time of year but because we had 3 adult children with us, felt we got great value for money with the all inclusive. However, there were a few bits in the small print that I missed at booking-the ski hire didn’t include helmets and we had to track down the ski hire shop to give them our details (shoe size, weight/height) so we weren’t delayed when we picked up our equipment to avoid being late for our ski lessons on the first day. Also felt the transfer costs were a bit steep.

All good easy website only issue is lack of phone support option for booking

As in the past, easy to search for a resort, easy to select extras and easy to complete the purchase. Past holidays have been perfect so I expect no less this time.

Excellent service so far and competitive pricing for the holiday, will use again for sure.

Great company, brilliant deals and knowing that the lift pass is always included is a fantastic bonus. Easy to book online too. Our third time booking with Sunweb and won’t be looking to use anyone else for the foreseeable future.

Made a booking last night at 10pm for hotel + ski pass (no flights) and realised I made a mistake so messaged immediately to cancel but office was closed. Called at 9am and was told it's not possible to cancel.
I understand Sunweb doesn't offer 24hrs cooling off period but common sense should prevail here when a customer is trying to cancel a booking that is 5 weeks out within 12hrs of reserving. I expect better from SubWeb.

Accomodation was awful, dirty in disrepair, ant boxes and silverfish everywhere, walls chipped and paint pealing off the walls, dirty overall i am sad to say. Normally Sunweb accom is really good, not this time. Kitchen work top was unhygenic, holes in work tops great breeding ground for bacteria. Very disappointed.

We had a decent time skiing here and staying at sunweb. Came across through nhs discounts page.
Staff were helpful, friendly and polite at the hotel and we came just before peak season at Christmas so it was quiet everywhere.
Would have really appreciated hot drinks with dinner and more options for a vegetarian meal as survived on mostly soup and bread all week with very little access to fresh fruit, as it seemed all the food came up at start of week and gradually ran out! Basically, very carb heavy.
Dinners were a basic repeat of the day before, e.g. side dish of peas turns into pea soup tomorrow.
All desserts were cold which was a shame and frequently ran out, would have been great to have something hot if you've been outside in snow all day and are hungry. Maybe themed cuisine with actual recipes followed, as everything was very 'safe' and almost slightly bland.
Breakfast was French ie lots of bread and pastries, no hot options and unfortunately donuts muffins etc were stored in the fridge together, so everything tasted like onions each day! Only hot breakfast drinks from the machine with separate cold milk so tea wasn't great. Water is available in pitchers which is freezing cold all the time. No drinks with dinner, unless purchased wine.
The hotel is quite dated e.g not many toilets, no gym facilities and generally very quiet during the day. The desk is only staffed at certain times, so if you need something, you have to wait. I couldn't see any cctv on the room floors which was a bit unsettling, but could be wrong.
The sauna and pool were relatively small and the rooms are quite compact.
We stayed in a 6 sleeper which has an upper floor, bunk and a pull out bed from the sofa, meaning nowhere to actually sit down for us all in the evening.
There are no TV channels aside from French, so strongly advise an Amazon stick or equivalent to watch TV using the WiFi, which mercifully was decent. Very few sockets so you need to take several uk adapter plugs to manage. Rooms are dimly lit.
The hotel style means the toilet and bathroom are separate, which feels quite unhygienic and no ventilation fans, so the bathroom becomes very humid and whole room stuffy meaning you need to open the balcony for fresh air (freezing).
There was no space to hang clothing to dry out and the airer we did have, was broken which was a shame as cannot cover radiators for safety.
The room service only comes once a week for a full turn down, and any new changes to towels costs extra- if I'd known, I may have brought towels along. Only toiletries are a washing gel in the bath itself, no handsoap or shampoo etc.
There are no hairdryers, iron or kettle facilities etc, which may be different for those booking an apartment style room. We could request to use a hairdryer which we did, and I requested a refresh of the room e.g. vacuum , more loo rolls etc, as gets messy if travelling in a group.
It's a shame no access to laundry even in the nearby resort as it's all very quaint and pleasant in town, but mainly eating places (largely closed) and one supermarket, but thats it.
Overall it was fine because we managed, and access to the ski hire, proximity to slopes etc was the key factor, the staff did a good job and people were generally friendly. Hotel has ski lockers and equipment rental on site and they were super helpful in sorting equipment on first day which is fab.

Really great experience with Sunweb. Really easy to deal with and provide ski holidays at an affordable price, including Lyft passes.
Only downside is the lack of economical transfers to the resort once in country but it is clear from the booking process that this isn’t included.

Was having a problem booking online with the baggage allowance on the flight changing. So called the telephone number and Jos (it was the Dutch office) was super helpful. We booked everything and have just returned from a fab week in Les 2 Alpes.
Have used Sunweb, since our youngest son was 3 years old, you were called Horizon then. He is now 21 and we still always look at Sunweb as do his brothers.
Thank you for 18 years of super skiing holidays.
