Surfshark enabled auto-renewal without my clear consent and claims they notified me via updated terms I never saw. I was charged an excessive amount for a plan I did not knowingly upgrade to. When I requested a refund, it was denied. I rarely use the service, and the pricing is not justified for my usage. Proceed with caution.

I have surfshark subscription from last 2 years and it was coming to end soon . I reached out to the live agent KEVIN really went above and beyond to give me the best deal that I could not decline . I am really happy with the service. Kevin you are the best !

Problem was found out fast and efficiently solved. Very capable Helper. The human touch is always better. The help i recieved was intuitive and awsome. ai tends to go around in circles until you get a human anyways.

Super and fast service

Terrible software. When my Surfshark is operating my printer won;t work, the location changes many times --on its own--to the location I am presently located. Of course if I went to go into my financials I am not alowed to if Surfshark is functioning. It slows my computer down and takes forever to load. Not worth the money

I did had very bad experience when dealing with chatroom answering by AI in other company so I was very happy for the your AI assistance is very smart and helpful.
He is not only able to answer my questions with explanation which make sense, he then connected me to the real CS in a minute as he couldn't answer.
It is very impressive that very smooth conversation and my problem solved just within 10 mins.

Surfshark is crap. I cannot use it to watch the Amazon Prime video platform. Nothing will play with it turned on. I cannot use it when overseas. Error messages turn it off. Why am I paying for a service that doesn't work? Because I tried to cancel it a week before my account expired and found out they had already auto debited my credit card. They refused to refund me saying there was an end date different to the account suspension date which they'd buried in the contract so now I have another year of no service. This is how they manipulate people to use their useless VPN. Don't start an account with them and if you have one now, get out of auto debit before they steal your money and call it their right. NOTE: In response to their reply below 1. It is likely illegal to force me to auto debit and just one of their shady tactics to get money from me. There is a class action suit in the US addressing this 2. I absolutely DID NOT receive an email indicating my subscription was about to expire - this is gaslighting - yet another tactic to get money 3. This end date they hide behind was never indicted UPFRONT. It is buried pages into the contract and who but they know that an end date is different from a subscription ending date? By now they've paid off their lawyers (from all of us who've had money taken from our credit cards) for getting that one worded so they can grab more money. Now they're just raking in angry powerless paying subscribers with their shady business practices. SHAME ON SURFSHARK and all their employees

Surf shark is great. I've never had a problem with it. They let you know which add-ons are available but they never pressure you to get one. The add-ons are great but I like to keep things simple. I always feel like I'm getting what I paid for.
