This company promises no interest

This company promises no interest, or penalty if paid off early. Let me tell you, they add all the cost up front. I opened my loan in March. The project was finished, and funded in April, with 1st payment being due in June. Original loan amount was 14,000. I made a 5,000 payment in June. When asked for balance it was 14,200. These people are loan sharks. I am going to look into possibly bankruptcy this loan. Deceitful Company

Bad Online Pay Technology

This is the worst! Their pay online site is hard to get into and never remembers your signing information . They make it difficult to pay online then charge you interest and late fees. I strongly suggest not using them ever.Even the serviceman that fixed my furnace had a hard time setting it up.

Probably the worst loan company that…

Probably the worst loan company that I've had experience with. There is no direct way to pay with card (who even does that now?) and on top of that, the website is down often, meaning you can't even pay the balance until it is late. I don't believe I have ever been notified at the appropriate time that a payment was due. And customer service is an absolute nightmare to get ahold of. They are the worst. Literally any other company would be better.

Scummy practice

They will offer you a great deal where they approve a certain intrest with an extetnded time frame of when the payments start and then swap out the loan option with something different without telling you. Avoid this company. Their customer support is terrible as they will offer to escalate a ticket and then never actually submit the tickets.

This company is a FRAUD!!!!!!!

This company says, "0% interest for 18 months" but charge fees and steel money out of your account. Do NOT give them access to you account! They will rob you blind, and then say they, "Don't speak English" or transfer you & expect you to give your SS# out to everyone until you feel VIOLATTED & FRUSTRATED. IF you see Service Finacial, my advice, RUN!!!!! RUN!!!! RUN!!!!!! They are a FRAUD!

Just financed and it's already a scam

Just financed and it's already a scam! We just started our financing and the company has fake phone numbers, one phone number takes you to a scam $100 prize call center in India. That make it impossible to speak to a person and they hide behind letters that never arrive and make it difficult to start autopay in order to try to collect. I record the phone calls and they hang up to hide their shinanigans. DO NOT TRUST. I'm going to just [ay off the loan immediatly to get a way from these scammers.

Missed a payment and horrible experience

Missed a payment and didn't catch when looking online my payments processed but now in June showing a due date of 4/26/25. Horrible customer portal and I tried to call customer service to log a complaint and no one on the call could understand why it was upsetting to not see accurate information online in the portal so I would realized oh yea I missed an autopay move money over and get caught up instead of getting a ding on my credit and I don't pay bills late or miss payments! I was soooo pissed to say the least. After reading Reddit I see lots of people have had issues with them. I wouldn't use them if you could avoid them. I own my missed payment but why is the online portal so inaccurate?

Service Finance Co

Service Finance Co. Is a complete disaster!! They refuse to take my payout on the whole loan! I submitted a payment today at 8 AM. I have an email confirmation. When I went to go check on that payment at 5 PM when I got to work, the Payment was no longer tracked! I called and placed the call on recording, and the representative told me that she does not speak on recorded lines and disconnected the call! I called back and got a wonderful lady who stated to me that they were still processing my payment. I will call back tomorrow to ensure that my payment for the full amount was actually successful.!

Fraudulent policies

On only my second payment, there was a hick up with my credit union's bill pay and my payment was delayed. We received a collection notice immediately notifying us that our payment was late and they doubled my payment via fines. As far as I'm concerned this is criminal, at least it should be. Of course, I had to give a one-star rating which seems unfair to those poor companies out there who might actually be trying to do a good job!

They have taken more percentage in…

They have taken more percentage in interest then they should. Monthly has been up to 99% and 1% towards principal. How can they get away with that. The contract information we have doesn't show how they come up with what interest they take monthly when it is greatly different then the month before. Paying the same amount.

Just say no. Free is not free.

I financed something I could have easily paid in full cz "free financing! Why not?!" Well, it is not free financing for the length of the repayment of the loan. It is free financing for an arbitrary amount of time at the end of which you will receive no warning or notification and they will charge you full interest. Is that date buried somewhere in a contract? Possibly. But believe me they attempt to obscure it. Even when you call customer service they do not point out to you that you will be charged finances in what would be the middle of your loan period. What they tell you is as long as you pay on time and never miss a payment you will not accrue interest. The entire business is predicated on deception. You guys got me for two grand but I'm going to do everything I can to warn other people off using this company.

I’d give them a zero star if I could

I’d give them a zero star if I could. I will never finance with this horrible company again. I was given a 18 month promotion period with no interest, had all but $300 paid, was ready to pay it off this month as I believed this was the last month to pay it off. Come to find out it was may that was the last month of the promotional period. I understand I mixed up the dates. But they couldn’t send an email reminding you that the promotional period was about to end? What an absolute joke. Screw this company, I will never finance through them again. Screwing me out of an additional $1200. What an absolute joke

Bad Faith Servicing - Intentionally Difficult to Add New Loans

I've had quite a few loans with this company over the last decade. My HVAC company sends all loans to SVC and I've paid them all off without ever missing a payment. In recent years, however, SVC has made it increasingly and I believe intentionally more difficult to add new loans to the online customer portal. That's always how I've scheduled my auto-payments but over time I've noticed a shift in how long they take to process these requests (they won't even consider it until the "welcome letter" which takes "7-10 business days" but can be later than that and then another "7-10 business days" to actually facilitate the request you made to add the loan to your account. That's already almost a month and the first payment is due within the first month. It's also been on more than one occasion where they claim I never made these request(s) to add the loan(s) to my portal. It has happened more than once now so I believe SVC are making it difficult on purpose to try to increase the likelihood of default. I think this is textbook bad faith servicing and/or unfair or deceptive practices.

I called sfc for help with paying my first loan payment and spoke to Dawn Ruchman (Client Care Specialist). She thoroughly explained the process, walked me through setting up monthly recurring payments and emailed all pertinent information I was missing. She was excellent in customer care. Thank you Dawn for your attention to detail!
