Fantastic experience!
Fantastic experience!! Great communication (even if I was a pest!)! Incredibly satisfied that I got my item back from multiple stops intact and packaged better!! Highly highly recommend!! Definitely using again!!!
Natalie's signature
Natalie's signature, maybe it's just my imagination, but I feel like it was written in a messy way and I'm hazy on the amount of money that was spent.
I wonder if she didn't like Leon's portrait.
However I greatly appreciate your team gave me a special opportunity this time.
Received my Natalie Portman autograph
Received my Natalie Portman autograph, packaging return was great and the placement of the auto and quote turned out great.
Portman, +1
Got my Portman BS6 figure back yesterday. Auto looked great! I missed out on the first one, really glad y’all had a second signing with her!
Natalie Portman Signing
Just got my 3 Natalie Portman autographs back and they all turned out awesome! Perfect placement, and the paint marker colors look great! Worth the wait! Thank you!!
Great
Have done many send in with SWAU and have gotten really good results. Last one received was my Natalie Portman and I am loving how it came out.
SWAU update: I found the resolution I'm satisfied with.
For those that read my review about SWAU, still remains true, but I want to give more insight on what has transpired since then. After long email conversations with SWAU, they committed the ultimate sin in CGC facilatation. There is no denying that part, but they understood their mistake and we both agreed on a resolution where I was satisfied. Ultimately, I didn't like the outcome because I would prefer to have kept the comic book, but this is the only option I'm willing to accept. Thank you SWAU for understanding the situation and resolving this issue. Unfortunately, my experience with your company has caused unwanted stress that I don't need and therefore, I will no longer use your services going forward.
Simply the best all around
Simply the best all around, customer service, item handling, shipping, authentication.. A++
SWAU is in it for the fans
This team really works hard for their customers. I am a huge Henry Cavill fan and I was so excited when I learned he was doing a signing. There were so many options to choose from. I requested two of my own photos and they worked to put them on the website so I could request them. I ended up buying three signed photos. Price was reasonable—only slightly more than what you’d find at a comic convention but you dont have to wait in line. I’m leaving a five star review just because of how well this was packaged. I was so nervous something would happen to my photo since the signing was in London. It arrived in a sealed package and inside the photo itself was actually deleted between two pieces of plastic and tape. It was very well done and I can tell they really take care of the items they send. I was very impressed. One thing I will say (and this is more on me) is that you should be specific if you want a personalization from a signer. I asked for a general message of love/thanks “to [my name]” but he just signed to my name with no other message. But at the same time I get it.
One final thing I’ll say that was great is they really look to see where the autograph will look best. I’m sure this was a combination of Henry and the SWAU team. I requested that my photo be signed in the top right corner with a light purple. I was really nervous it wouldn’t show up. Henry signed at the bottom of the photo and I’m so glad he did. Looking at it now I can tell there is no way the top corner would have worked. I really feel like they did that for me and they didn’t have to. Honestly, they could do exactly what I said and I’d be stuck with an autograph I can’t really see. I had a great experience and I would buy another one if my husband hadn’t set the limit at 3…
Have purchased over 10 items with SWAU
Have purchased over 10 items with SWAU. I deal with multiple online autograph dealers. Celebrity Authentics, Galaxycon, Offical Pix and Everest. This company is by far the WORST at updating customers. They give you auto replies to check your account page problem is they don’t update your items. About to cancel all future transactions with them they’re not worth it. Go else where especially if it’s an expensive item

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Been waiting a year and a half for my purchase. I asked for a refund three months ago and they told me it was too close and updates were coming. Asked again a month ago. Again told too close. Asked again now even though there’s no sign date scheduled it’s still somehow too close. Wont be using again.

Nice items. Poor customer service.
This company makes no apologies for extremely delayed signings.
They make no attempt to update late signing updates to their customers. There is no communication.
Their customer service isn’t great.
On the plus side, when items do get signed, the results have been good.

Fool me twice, shame on me, I guess…
First, let me say that when it comes to cracking a 9.8 graded comic book to have a signature added, there are risks involved which I know very well. I also understand that it’s a gamble to even consider it.
Secondly, let me say that it’s a risk that I’ve undertaken hundreds of times… only a handful of times (have I ever had a book come back damaged/lesser condition, or had a grade drop. I prep my books very well and use some of the lost trusted facilitators in the industry to handle my items… unless I need to go outside of them.
Two of those handful of times now have been the two times that I’ve trusted my collectibles to SWAU.
Both books were sent in last year in the fall, a 9.8 Tom Hiddleston signed book with a very expensive quote came back a 9.4, a huge grade drop and loss of value, and my quote was not only where I detailed it should be (and prepped it… meaning that handled it more than they needed to), it was also not the way I wanted it to be.
That book at least came back timely.
The most recent transgression is worse. A very rare 9.8 book sent in for Anthony Hopkins came back a VERY generous 9.6, with multiple spine creases and damage throughout.
The grade drop is the gamble that we take… the extra damage to a book painstakingly prepped and protected for the signing, being manhandled and damaged in possession of the company I am paying and trusting to handle it properly for me? That is never acceptable.
Worse?
It was signed in April.
It was graded in August.
It was not until I emailed again on status in November that I got any movement.
I was asked to describe my book… and miraculously it was prepped for shipment the very next day, after sitting around for over two months.
SWAU may do an ok job on pictures and posters (although I’ve seen enough posts that may argue that), and I’ve gotten a signed prop or two without major incident…
However, I will never ever send them another comic book to be signed and graded, as they have cost me hundreds and hundreds of dollars on these two alone.

No complaints
Purchased my second item from SWAU recently. The first one was a pre-ordered customized signing, and while it did take a while for the signed poster to arrive, I experienced a good customer service through the process and the poster is immaculate. Recently purchased an item through their auctions, and have 0 complaints. Fast shipping, item WELL packaged and in mint condition. Pricy but well worth it.
Worst company I have ever did business…
Worst company I have ever did business with and I regret it so much. From the run around, to constantly delaying signings to where people have been waiting years, to disrespectful customer service where they told me if I wanted them to throw my item away like What the heck you bums? Seriously I tried to give them a chance but they and the rest of their cult like following will hate on your items if it’s not authenticated by their worthless SWAU sticker. It’s so funny to me people actually have those worthless stickers on their items because it makes your items value go way down I mean SWAU is only known as a Facebook group therefore not everyone would know them like the best authentication companies such as PSA, Beckett, and JSA. Who all will get your item way more money than swau for sure. Truly hope your company shuts down forever and I know I’m not the only one that feels this way. You all have truly ruined autographs for collectors and fans alike.
The Gold Standard for Autographs and Collectables
SWAU is the only company that I would ever trust my treasured items with for various private autograph signings. They know how to put the customer first every step of the way. During the entire process from start to finish I am always well informed with each changing step. The team at SWAU sets the industry standard for great customer service and I look forward to being a customer for many years to come. Thank you.
Many negative experiences, one amazing experience
This review is for all of my experiences with SWAU. (As an FYI, SWAU is doing raffles of gift cards for folks giving them reviews on this site. So keep that in mind moving forward as you look at some of the reviews).
I used SWAU to validate a signature for a Chris Evans autograph in March of 2024. This is an item I got signed myself at a convention. They had a booth on site to get an authentication sticker. It took them about 25 minutes turn around to get the signature back to me. As a comparison, I used JSA to also validate signatures and JSA was able to validate everything with their sticker in five minutes.
I used SWAU for a send-in signing for Chris Hemsworth in April 2021. I checked their order tracker in April 2022 and the order was “missing.” This made me super worried. I did email them and they told me the order wasn’t missing & that the signing would happen that fall. I did get my order in January 2023. So, for those keeping track, that took 18 months to get the item signed. I ordered a Beckett authentication (& spent extra for this) and they didn’t do it because during those 18 months they discontinued their relationship with Beckett and never told me.
I used SWAU for a Robert Downey Jr send-in item in September 2021. I received my item back in April 2022. This was Beckett authenticated. Everything went GREAT! It was awesome.
In 2021, I worked with someone at SWAU named Tom and had an awful experience. They lost my item. And for many, many months they had me waiting to see when or if they would give me a refund. In January, 2022, they did reimburse me for my item. But it took me contacting them many, many, many times to get it.
So, would I use them again? Their convention authentication definitely is not as quick as JSA. The send-ins I’ve had are a mixed bag. One amazing, great experience. One mediocre experience. One awful experience.

Customer since DAY ONE
I've been doing business with SWAU since day one. They have some incredible opportunities, and many first time signers.
They pack items with care, using quality shipping materials. In addition to the signings, they have many other things for the hobby. Storage items, auctions, etc.
Sometimes, hiccups happen. SWAU always takes the time to make things right.
Highly reccommend!
Just Amazing
SWAU is just amazing. Super friendly and effective customer service. Extremely reliable, would recommend to anyone.
