I was charged customs fees which I was explicitly told I wouldn't and when I reached out to Sweetcare I was told 'its not our problem take it up with the post service'.
When I asked about an invoice for the fees etc I was completely ignored.
No help whatsoever, avoid.

I made a verified purchase from Sweetcare.pt under order confirmation nº: 1684559.
I ordered the product via their website, the whole ordering process and payment by CC went smoothly without any issues. I received the ordered product within a week. Upon opening the package, the product appeared to be new and sealed.
I have yet to check the expiry of the received product but it appears to be fresh. I have yet to open the product.
But so far, my impressions of Sweetcare has been good.

I purchased three skincare items from Sweetcare totaling $325 CAD and intentionally ordered extra to meet their free-shipping threshold. At no point during checkout was it disclosed that the products would ship from Portugal or that import duties would apply.
Upon delivery, I was charged an unexpected $105.72 CAD in import fees for face creams. When I contacted Sweetcare, I was told that if I refused the duties, they would not refund my order.
Charging customers international import fees without clear, upfront disclosure is unacceptable. The lack of transparency and the company’s unwillingness to resolve the issue or take responsibility for the surprise charges is extremely disappointing. I would not have placed this order had the true landed cost been disclosed. Very disappointing experience.

I am a Greek citizen currently living and working in Saudi Arabia. I placed an order for skincare products from SweetCare to be delivered to KSA.
I received a notification from DHL stating that the shipment was on its way. However, for reasons that were never clearly explained, the package was placed on hold at Portuguese customs. The DHL tracking website did not indicate the reason for the hold.
Approximately one week later, I received an email from SweetCare informing me that I was required to upload my passport details and a copy of my passport through a provided link, as requested by customs. The email stated that I had only two days to complete this action, otherwise the products would be returned to SweetCare and I would not be reimbursed.
Immediately upon receiving this email, I accessed the link and uploaded copies of my passport and my Saudi ID. Despite submitting the requested documents within the given timeframe, after two days the DHL tracking status showed that the shipment was being returned to SweetCare.
As soon as I noticed this, I attempted to log in to my SweetCare account to contact Customer Service. However, I was unable to do so because my account had been suspended, with the following message displayed:
“For security reasons your account was suspended. Please contact us to activate your account.”
This situation is extremely concerning, as I complied promptly with all requested requirements and yet my order was returned without resolution, and I am currently unable to contact Customer Service through my account.

I placed an order with SweetCare on 29/01/2026, with an expected delivery date of 05/02/2026. Since then, the shipment has been stuck at customs place of origin, and the tracking information has not changed at all.
I contacted customer support several times requesting a solution or a refund. Their latest response states that a refund is “not authorized” because the shipment is still in transit, yet they also provide no estimated timeline, no progress, and no alternative resolution.
While customs delays can happen, being asked to wait indefinitely for an undelivered order — with no clear accountability — is extremely frustrating. As a customer, my agreement is with SweetCare, not with customs authorities.
Based on how this situation has been handled so far, I would not recommend SweetCare if you expect reliable delivery or fair handling when issues arise.

i ordered Eroxon from sweetcare many months ago. i had to pay a huge import tax. while in transit, i decided that i don't want them anymore. i refused the delivery and asked for them to be sent back to sweetcare and requested a refund minus shipping cost.
to this day, 4 months later, i have NOT received my refund.
i don't trust this company nor i recommend them.

My order placed on December 26 has never been delivered. The parcel was declared lost, and despite my clear request for the items to be resent, no real solution has been provided.
Customer service only offers refunds instead of resending the order and resolving the issue properly. This situation has been ongoing for weeks with no satisfactory response.
Prices may look attractive, but avoid this company at all costs. The customer service is unreliable and does not take responsibility when problems occur.

This is the 2nd review, due to no further from Sweetcare after initial unhelpful response. To give all potential buyers an update and a warning, I have no order and I still have no refund! This purchase was made on 14th Janauary for £247.46 anyone who is based in the UK I would not advise purchasing from Sweetcare, this has not been a good experience.Still no refund for order 1642048 and I have now spoken to Dipak from UPS who confirmed that due to me not being in receipt of the parcel I do not need to pay any fee's and that I need to contact Sweetcare. He also confirmed that Sweetcare recalled this parcel so they are in full control of the parcel return journey and after replying once with incorrect information they then do not respond and I have had to open another case! This company is not cost effective, hidden charges and I'm hoping I can save consumers this same agro that this company have caused me! No wonder they don't take AMEX as this would have resolved by now. Unprofessional, hidden charges, poor customer services, do not follow correct online shopping guidelines, avoid!
