Pathetic customer service

Pathetic customer service. Ordered from dadus gachibowli. 1 item was out of order. I was asked to choose replacement. I paid extra 60 rupees. While paying the extra, swiggy removed the coupon code. I had to pay 150 extra to the delivery guy. Now the restaurant sent 1 piece of nalen gud khowa peda while i ordered 250 gms & paid 315 for this. Got in touch with customer support after trying for 1 hr. They started bergaining by offering to refund 168 first, then 220. Felt like a beggar. I hung up.

Never use swiggy as there is no option to cancel a wrongly placed order!

I placed a cake order and forgot to add the message that needed to be written on it. I cancelled the order within 5 seconds, only to be greeted by a completely useless chatbot. And, unsurprisingly, the entire amount was charged as a cancellation! Far ridiculous.
Expecting some basic human common sense, I raised the issue via support email. Unfortunately, the response was no better. Swiggy’s human support seems even more useless than its AI, repeating the same policy lines without any real attempt to resolve the issue.
Experiences like this make it clear why Zomato is far more customer-friendly. This was my last order on Swiggy.

Swiggy instamart is waste of time I cancelled my order after one hour of Wait Sometimes the time is decreased sometime increased After that I talk to agent they said the product is not delivered because of the shortage of agent the product is very urgent

Worst Service of All Time.

Oh the worst service!
I placed an order, the dilevery person called me , and did speak a word.
And after a minute i get a text that the dilevery person has cancelled my order, because i was not speaking on the call 😠.
And guess what, I've been charged a 100% cancellation fee, because it's their policy!!!!
And when i tried talking to their customer service about it, you guessed it right.....they can't help me .
The worst experience ever!
Will make sure never to use this app again!!!

There is a huge loophole in Swiggy

There is a huge loophole in Swiggy. Many restaurants often don't have to mention the quantity they'll give because swiggy is not strict about it. Eventually the portion of food that I receive is not even half of the price i paid.
I have ordered more than 20+times from swiggy, but i never got my money's worth of food.
Then there are other issues like delivery guy eating half of my food before delivery or a part of my order missing.
Everytime I contacted the customer support, they took all the proof they wanted and then they won't even refund half of what I paid. No compensation nothing.
Compared to it other competitors like Zomato have much better experience. I hardly had any issues on this platform and even if I had they have given me more compensation than my expectations.
Like once I had ordered from Zomato and a part of my order was missing, the item price was 75 but they compensated me with a coupon of 90 rupees which i could redeem anytime in any resturants and can be clubbed with other coupons as well, on top of that there was no time limit to use it.
In contrast to it, when swiggy gives coupon for refund or compensation, their coupons are valid for just one week which we can't use elsewhere.
Also,we can only use the coupon while ordering from the same restaurant which messed up the order in the first place.
Like instead of punishing the restaurant for their mistake, Swiggy instead help those restaurants by giving them more sales.
Swiggy is one of the most pathetic app I have seen recently. They are destroying their own business by giving these pathetic services.

Swiggy Denied Refund for Missing Item – Worst Customer Service

I placed an online order through Swiggy for three items. However, upon delivery, one item was missing. I immediately raised a complaint through the Swiggy app and also followed up via email.
Despite repeated attempts, no corrective action was taken. Swiggy customer support clearly stated that no refund would be provided.
This amounts to deficiency in service and poor customer support. I paid for items that were not delivered and was denied a refund without valid justification.
I strongly advise customers to be cautious while ordering through Swiggy. I expect immediate resolution and refund for the missing item.
This was my first time using the Swiggy app to order food. I usually use other platforms. Due to this extremely poor experience, this was not only my first order but will also be my last. I will never order from Swiggy again.

Disappointing Experience with Swiggy Instamart

I would like to share a disappointing experience I recently had with Swiggy Instamart.

I ordered three ice creams, but all of them were delivered in a completely damaged condition, melted and resembling a milkshake. The products were clearly not fit for consumption.

Despite reaching out to the Swiggy support team multiple times and sharing clear images as evidence, my request for a refund or replacement was declined. Even after reviewing the images, the issue was unfortunately ignored, which was extremely disappointing as a customer.

As consumers, we place our trust in platforms like Swiggy to deliver perishable items safely and responsibly. Sadly, this experience did not meet those expectations.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to better handling of perishable items and improved customer support going forward.

Overall

Overall, my experience with Swiggy was average. The food was delivered on time, and the app is easy to use, which I appreciate. However, the food quality was just okay and not as good as expected for the price. Packaging could also be improved, and delivery charges sometimes feel a bit high.
Swiggy is convenient and reliable most of the time, but there’s definitely room for improvement to make the experience better.

I had a disappointing experience at a restaurant named Wow!China that left me with a sour taste. The service was incredibly slow, with waitstaff seeming disinterested and inattentive. It took an eternity for our orders to arrive, and when they finally did, the food was underwhelming. The dishes lacked flavor and were poorly cooked. The presentation was sloppy, and it was evident that little effort was put into the preparation. To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for the low-quality food and subpar service. Overall, it was a regrettable dining experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

This is absolutely unacceptable and…

This is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. I placed the order at 4:00 PM with a promise of 15 minutes delivery, but it was delayed by 45 minutes. No proper update, no responsibility.

On top of that, the food quality was horrible. I ordered Chicken Mandi, but I was given old biryani rice that tasted like yesterday’s leftovers. The chicken pakoda was ice-cold, straight from the fridge, not even heated.

Is this how Swiggy allows restaurants to treat customers? Serving stale, cold, leftover food is a serious health risk. This was a waste of money and a disgusting experience. Completely disappointed and angry. Never ordering again.

Spoilt my Christmas lunch

I ordered food for lunch around 12 in the afternoon and my order was delivered by 1pm, I happily open the package and find that the thali I ordered is missing, I showed it to the delivery person and he said not his fault as the package was sealed and only option was to complain on the chat in the swiggy app, so I got onto chat with a bot expecting a solution, the bot takes all details and says how do you want to proceed, I said I need a live agent to solve the matter, it says ok, chat is closed, live agent will contact in 4 to 6 hours, that's it, I cannot continue on chat,there is no one else to speak to,no solution about my lunch, do I order elsewhere again or wait for balance delivery, totally spoilt my Christmas lunch, finally I get an email around 9.30pm, we tried contacting you,bour office is till 9 pm, let us know a suitable time, we will contact you, I have not received any call and I told them to call me anytime

SWIGGY CUSTOMER SERVICES PATHETIC

I have ordered food from KEVENTERS, today. It has milkshake bottle in it - the bottle was opened and milkshake was spilled all over the bag.

When I reported this issue with SWIGGY, they were NOT READY TAKE OWNERSHIP FOR SAME, and their 04 advisors Akram, Piyush, Pooja, and Rohit disconnected the call midway whilst having conversation.

They do NOT HAVE ANY SUPERVISOR WHO can talk and take over the call to discuss the issue.

PATHETIC SERVICES SWIGGY IS OFFERING NOW A DAYS.

placed a food order at 2:25 AM. The app initially showed a delivery time of 15 minutes, and later kept updating it to “5 minutes” repeatedly. I waited patiently, but my order was not delivered even by 2:41 AM.

When I raised a complaint, the chatbot and multiple Swiggy agents kept misleading me, repeatedly saying the order would arrive in “2–5 minutes.” I spoke to five different agents—each one put me on hold and then disconnected without resolving anything. No one took responsibility, and no one gave a clear answer.

Eventually, they simply refunded the money, saying they were unable to deliver. But what about the time wasted, the false promises, and the fact that I stayed hungry in the middle of the night? A refund does not compensate for the inconvenience and stress caused.

If Swiggy cannot handle night-time deliveries or does not have proper customer support during late hours, they should be honest about it instead of misleading customers with fake delivery timelines. The lack of accountability—from delivery partners to customer support—is unacceptable.

Based on this experience, I strongly do not recommend ordering from Swiggy at night. Morning deliveries may work, but late-night orders are unreliable, and customer support is unresponsive and ineffective. This was a highly frustrating and disappointing experience.

Cancellation charges SCAM

Placed a KFC order through Swiggy at 11:20 AM, cancelled in 2 MINUTES at 11:22 AM (no prep started, no delivery partner assigned). Charged 100% anyway—including the tip I put for the delivery partner who was not even assigned! Had to grovel with customer care for 2 HOURS of non-stop check-ins just to get a refund.

Swiggy used to be good but now shows 0 respect for customers. Horrible service!

Please revisit your unreasonable policies and train agents to treat aggrieved customers with basic respect.
