Superb Service

Absolutely fantastic. Got the quote online, could pay online, honest pricing structure, and the delivery has been faultless. Booked a gas safety inspection and an EICR online on Thursday, 4 days later both have been carried out.
I highly recommend

Not great

I have already had my gas inspection which took ages for you to book and you have now booked someone else again. No one seems to know what they are doing. I hope you haven't charged me twice! I wouldn't use this again.

I can see that the Symple team was in touch with you where possible to keep you updated, we apologise if we could have dealt with this differently. The issues regarding multiple bookings was in fact a glitch in the system. Our service provider who carried out the original inspection, was made aware that these were being sent in error to them and there was no requirement for them to contact you. We can assure you only one booking and payment has taken.

Money well spent…

I used this company's services prior to buying a property and it was worth every penny I spent.

I had gas and electricity inspections carried out which highlighted some significant issues that I would not have known about otherwise.

I was struggling to work out who I could book to carry out the inspections and really liked the ease of booking through this company. Customer service was great and the reports were professional and produced in good time.

I would definitely use this company again.

Turned up 3.5 hours late

Sorry to write this as initially this seems a very good service. Received a text saying EICR was booked for 1.00 pm. On the day received another text saying your engineer will be with you at 1.00 pm.

At 3.45, received a text saying he was on his way and eventually turned up at 4.30 pm, 3.5 hours after expected.

When I questioned this with the Symple support team, I was told that it was any time after 1.00 pm. That isn't what any of the 3 texts I received said, and the on-line portal also showed it was booked for 1.00 pm.

So my suggestion would be; if you are going to be late, contact before nearly 3 hours of waiting. Then don't try and lie about it when you mess up.

The unfortunate mistake you will make…

The unfortunate mistake you will make under contract law is that if you book an engineer through this system these people are then the main contractor , but they have no engineering qualifications or Insurance which makes it illegal . You have to book direct with engineers for it to be legal . If you dont believe talk to a Solicitor or Trading Standards . Mike Bowen at Gas & Elec

My happy Symple inspection

I found Symple on Google as I needed a Gas certificate doing on one of my properties. I was impressed with how easy the process was. I registered and paid for my renewal and then I was able to see onscreen all the stages of the inspection, from when the service provider was assigned to the date when the inspection was booked. I was able to be kept out of the usual hectic loop, but still had visibility of what was going on. My cert was then stored on the system and also emailed to me, rather than the usual paper copies which can be lost. Thanks Symple

I found Symple on the net looking for a local Manchester company and I have received an excellent hassle free service. Symple arranged directly with the tenants a date and time to suit both parties without me having do anything. The service is very easy to sign upto.
