I think synthesia is okay. it's not great but it is pretty good for what it is. But i think it's crap that any unused credits for a month don't roll over. I won't continue with them as I paid for multiple months and didn't get anything out of those months. Having a subscription with it is silly in my opinion. Use it and then cancel and then just get it again when you need it again? I feel like with the cap on credits anyway that you should just be able to buy a set amount of credits with no subscription. I also think there should be a subscription option that is unlimited.

Bought it as soon as I paid wouldn't let me produce videos - spent 4 hours producing it, and they just deleted it.

It's a censorship product, you can't say what you want, synthesia censors your words, so you are constantly at risk of not being able to express yourself, for example I was writing an article about the war in Somalia, a simple sentence talking about this war, my video was censored. So don't waste your time learning how to use synthesia, because one day or another you will be censored without knowing why.

Their video platform is excellent. Their customer service is horrible. Hard to get anyone to connect with you. The basic plan only allows the person who created the account to be the editor. It can't be handed off/assigned to someone else. This is the trick to get everyone to upgrade.

Synthasia is a waste of money, one of the worst ai services on the net. I cancelled my subscription but they still charged me for services I don’t even use.

If you decide to use them, no that they will charge you even after cancelling your service. They have a no refund policy that you need to be aware of!

After dedicating about an hour to exploring the free account and creating a video, I was disappointed to receive a vague message stating that my video violated Synthesia’s content moderation policies. Frustratingly, they provided no specific details or explanation about what went wrong, leaving me unable to address or correct the issue. This lack of clarity and support really detracted from the experience, making it hard to recommend the platform wholeheartedly. I give it a 2-star rating on Trustpilot due to the promising features and pricing overshadowed by poor feedback on moderation issues.

Update: After three automated emails from their AI system falsely claiming my video violated their terms, I finally received a response from a human. Upon review, they confirmed the video had zero violations. Frustrated by this absurd ordeal, I promptly deleted my account.

Absolutely love this platform. I was looking for software to help me revamp my companies training. I can create anything using the AI video tool. Took no time at all and it’s easy to edit yourself.

Synthesia is a fantastic tool for creating training videos as well as Adverisments for our services that are professional in appearance and tone.
The learning curve is easy and is the Swiss Army Knife of apps I use every day.

WASTE OF TIME
1.Avatars do not sound at all like humans and the pronunciation is untrainable.
2. Video was arbitrarily found in violation. It is an instructional video for financial professionals about a piece of software, but uses the word 'financial'. So it is in violation of financial guidelines???? There is nothing about investment or scams or anything controversial! After spending countless hours on the video, I cannot even download it!
3. Warning: Synthesia software is a waste of time!

Great live webinars led by Pierre — focused on specific topic with clear, practical demos. He demonstrates how easy and effective the Synthesia AI interface is for creating short, impactful videos quickly. One standout feature is how the avatars can be viewed from different camera angles while speaking — really impressive! Pierre also shares great tips on audience engagement using the “burger method,” especially how to craft strong hooks to capture attention right from the start.

The product works amazingly well, the help and support enables me to make the product work amazingly well. It has had great success in the market and we look forward to a long and fruitful journey.

Avatars from oneself do not work in a quality you need to hold a sufficient level of credibility. Voice sounds ridiciously high pitched. Body movements like stereotyped.

Great host/presenter. I was hoping for a bit more in depth on actual tools and workflow, but this was a nice light introduction. And most of all appreciate the host + moderators who answered any and all questions, and provided helpful links to follow ups + additional training.

The seminar was very informative and even through it was fast paced they made sure your questions were answered and the general information was in place to understand the topics and then backed up with a email assist after.

Synthesia is fantastic. From a Automotive Sales standpoint the possibilities are endless. Cory and his team are awesome! Highly recommend!
