Same as everyone else I am never paid on time. We have to beg to be paid.
The only good reviews are from people who haven't really dealt with Tailster properly yet!
Why all the recent good reviews for their customer service? That's their job! They are supposed to be prompt, polite & helpful!
Where are the good reviews about actually using the service & being paid? Where are the reviews from happy owners & carers? There are none because it never happens. Once they have you registered & have got your money you'll exeperience the real Tailster.
I am reporting to Trading Standards & I hope this company is stopped from trading soon before it takes any more money from pet owners & don't pass it on to the carers.

Replied to my query promptly,and was helpful and courteous.
I was uncertain if my £9.99 had been successful I was advised payment had been succesful. Siobhan offered to help me with my registration.
No pay, Awful Customer Service & Very Few Up to Date Jobs
I was with Tailster a long time, but I will not put up with their behaviour anymore.
There may be jobs if you live in a city, but for smaller areas of the country there are hardly any new jobs. Out of date jobs are still listed as current ones. It's pointless registering for a premium account.
You only get insurance for a booking if you are a premium user, which I don't think is made clear enough.
No one answers your emails and it seems that they use AI to reply to messages on other communication avenues. They may be responsive when they are setting up profiles, but as soon as they have your money you will be ignored. You can not get in touch with them in the evenings or at weekends. Not sure why there are all the 5 star reviews all of a sudden from people who have only had one conversation with them and have no experience of actually using the service.
Obviously the main problem is the lack of payment, that you can read all about in the other reviews.

I have been using Tailster for years now and it has been great but I haven’t been paid for a job I completed 4 months ago and after reading other reviews, I can see it is not only me. Do not use this company!
The sitters and pet owners are nice, but the management is despicable
It's the most disorganized business I've ever worked with, not to mention the delay in paying for services rendered and unauthorized charges. Not recommended as a petsitter and neither as a pet owner as they charge you instantly and take months to transfer the payment to the person who did the job.
Never received payment
I have completed the job. People whose dog I walked have paid but I have not received money. That was 1st of October. I have sent so many emails with no response from them, and the phone number is not in use. They are not registered company and have done this to so many people. Do not accept any jobs from them as they take money but don’t pay out.

I have been trying to cancel my booking and obtain a refund for almost a week - have sent 4 emails without response and have tried online chat twice. This time my message was read almost an hour ago and I still have had no response at all. I have heard from friends who are carers and have not been paid for weeks after providing their services. AVOID!! I will be reporting Tailster to Trading Standards.

They never paid my pet carer and its been over 2.5 weeks.
Prior to paying I was getting quick replies from their info@ email but after flagging up that I'm unhappy that my pet carer wasn't paid and that I want a reply ASAP. Radio silence for 4 days.
I'd avoid and use a competitor like Rover.
Account Cancellation
I had requested to cancel my subscription on the app months ago and only realised it had not been cancelled when I saw that the £60 renewal fee had been taken from my account. I then checked my app and it still stated 'pending cancellation'.
I tried to get in touch via email and online chat marking as urgent and initially received no response. A couple of days later I tried again via the online chat and an assistant called Alan was very quick to respond, and dealt with my query very efficiently.
Up until Alan resolving the issue I was going give Tailster a poor rating due to lack of response but cannot fault his customer service provided today.
