A safe research brand
I've taken part in some different and unusual forums with this company. They are fun to take part in and very professionally run. The staff interact with you and make sure that you have no problems. It is so nice to be able to take part in something that may not change the world, but gives you a platform
to discuss your views with others - and you get paid!!
I did NOT get paid anything or get any other reward for giving this review. I feel a little sad that anyone could think I could be bribed. I write reviews for good service or bad service because I hope to help other people to make a decision.

I have been taking part in research for around 10 years now and its always been a quick and efficient process, and projects are all really interesting and information is sent out quickly. Pay is fairly straight forward too, Would definitely recommend.

Fascinating projects that pay well!
Regular emails with information about fascinating research projects to register for. Not only do the projects pay well but I always learn new things. Prompt payment following completion of the project. I only wish I got accepted for more projects.

Don’t trust the 5* reviews, incentive offered for leaving them
Don’t trust the reviews, they sent an email offering to be entered into a prize draw if you left a 5 star review. Very unethical, especially for a research company where integrity should be a key foundation of business. It’s wrong on many levels and unfortunately worsens the credibility of Trust Pilot.
I’ve applied for lots of research with them - which they make a very tedious and time consuming process as you have to fill out personal (and unrelated) information about yourself over and over. The only research I have been accepted for despite matching the criteria for so many others is having a trainee take my blood for £50 in Boots. Not only a waste of time for all the applications but the company now appears quite dodgy.

Invited to do a 5* Rating for possible reward of £50. Disgusting behaviour from this company, goes against trustpilot policys and procedures, and as such I will be reporting it to them, it's very shady and underhand behaviour. Not impressed at all. Yes they sent a email after saying it was a "error" it absolutely wasn't, that kind of email doesn't get written and sent without being checked and authorised, it didn't just appear out of thin air.
I also had a teams meeting set up, and the client failed to attend, I was sat there waiting for over 40 mins in total.
When I spoke to a customer service rep they said they could raise a complaint, but they were not able to reimburse me, well guess what, reading all the other recent reviews today I see that another user WAS actually reimbursed for the exact same reason! Yet I wasn't and was told it wasn't a option, go figure.
Update - They have given a blanket repsonse to every single recent 1* review, even the ones that don't even mention the entry in to the draw to win £50, they also say it was a error, but it wasn't, it was asking for 5* reviews specifically, if it was legit it would have been just leave a review (not specify it needs to be 5*) absolutely no way was this a "error" it would have had to be written and passed as ok to send out to everyone, probably by multiple parties, they are just trying to back track now, we can all see it for what it was!

I filled out mandatory information eager to get started but despite filling out countless applications for surveys, I am always turned down for them and deemed not suitable? It's got to the point now where I have given up as it seems I'm wasting valuable time for no reward.

I will be requesting all my data being removed
I’ve been using Take Part In Research for a while, and honestly, I’m very disappointed.
You spend ages answering long screener surveys, giving them loads of personal details, only to be told you’re “not eligible” for the actual paid research. It feels like they’re collecting valuable data from you for free without offering anything in return.
Recently, they even sent an email offering a reward for leaving five-star reviews — which they later claimed was “sent in error.” This doesn’t inspire confidence and makes me question their business practices.
I feel scammed after applying for so many surveys and never getting selected. They have so much information about my life, and I’ve got nothing back for my time.

Rescheduling was easy
I had no issues rescheduling when life got in the way, I was also reimbursed when the researcher never turned up. Communication was great throughout and sorted quickly

I highly recommend signing up for Take Part In Research to earn some extra money. The staff are really friendly and I've learnt new things doing research with different companies on a range of topics. You can sign up for the opportunities you're interested in, it doesn't take long and the time slots are flexible to work around other commitments. Overall I've had a great experience with this research company!

Please disregard all the 5 star reviews left today - 27 June 2025 - as they cannot be trusted. Pages and pages of them! Take Part in Research sent out an email this morning to all its prospective research participants offering automatic entry into a £50 Amazon prize draw if they followed a link to this Trust Pilot page and left a 5 star review. Offering such an incentive is against Trust Pilot’s terms and conditions and advice to businesses. Probably illegal too. Shameful behaviour from what I thought was a respectable research company. All today’s 5 star reviews should be deleted to prevent them being taken as unsolicited, honest and unbiased reviews. They have given TPIR a false high score.

First of all getting an email offering £50 voucher then Andrew Folkes emailing saying this was sent in error. It wasn’t sent in error, it was sent on purpose and then backtracking without taking ownership. Would not trust.
