I am writing this publicly out of genuine frustration and disappointment regarding the lack of support provided to restaurant partners on the Talabat platform.
As a vendor, we pay commission, invest in promotions, maintain quality standards, and rely heavily on your platform for food delivery services. We value the partnership and understand that platforms like Talabat play a critical role in connecting restaurants with customers. However, a partnership must work both ways.
Over the past several weeks, I have been trying repeatedly to reach out to Talabat regarding operational and service-related issues affecting our restaurant. Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts through available channels, there has been no meaningful support. When we do manage to reach someone, the response is often that they are “unable to assist” or that the issue must be handled elsewhere — without clear direction on where that “elsewhere” actually is.
This raises a serious concern:
Where should vendors go for support?
Who is responsible for resolving partner issues?
How are restaurants expected to operate efficiently when there is no structured assistance?
As partners who pay for the service and contribute to the platform’s success, we deserve accessible, responsive, and accountable support. Restaurants depend on timely issue resolution — whether it relates to orders, system errors, financial discrepancies, account management, or operational concerns. Delays and lack of communication directly impact our revenue, staff, and customer satisfaction.
Customer support should not be one-sided. If Talabat expects restaurants to maintain service standards for customers, then Talabat must also maintain service standards for its vendors.
This post is not intended to attack, but to highlight a serious gap that needs immediate attention. We are not asking for special treatment — only for basic, professional vendor support that matches the scale and reputation of the platform.
I sincerely hope Talabat leadership and concerned team members take this matter seriously and establish:
• A clear vendor support structure
• Dedicated account managers or escalation channels
• Transparent communication processes
• Timely resolution of partner concerns
Strong platforms are built on strong partnerships. Right now, that partnership feels unbalanced.
I look forward to a constructive response and meaningful change.

I would give it NO STARS if it were possible! Ordered groceries, it came with some items missing and I, in good faith, thought maybe thy had run out of the items and would deliver later. Next day, I put in a complaint and they’re telling me I only had a four hour window to complain and therefore they will not be refunding or giving me the missing items!

so bad experience, recently money diducted 2 and 3 times fortimes order,
and when you ask for refund the force you to add as credit in ur account, or you will receive in 5 to 7 days in your bank.
it's technical mistake from TALBAT but again we are the customers we have to wait.
the funniest. after 7 days they are telling you still another 7 days.
no clear system and help chat as usesl.
they keep saying that it's not I. my hand.
to get your money back you have to complain in consumer rights.

It's been 35 days already and I am still unable to place any orders on the Talabat App, I have sent over 20 mails and 10 calls already, all they say is it's still getting rectified, seriously you guys need 35 days to fix an issue, Horrible experience, I've been a user for almost 6 years and was spending every alternate date, is this how you treat your customers???

Order #3438751116 from Tonino Crepes via Talabat UAE on Feb 5, 2026. The mango juice container was poorly sealed and spilled all over the food during delivery. The delivery bag was such poor quality that it became wet and tore apart, and the food fell on the ground. The entire 124.60 AED order was a total loss.
I am a tourist visiting the UAE for one week. This was ordered during my lunch break and I had to return to work immediately. When I contacted Talabat the next morning, both the customer service agent and a manager refused to issue any refund or credit, saying it was 'too late.' They showed zero flexibility despite the issue being entirely on their side. Speaking to them felt like talking to a wall - the same scripted response repeated over and over, regardless of what I explained.
For a company that operates at this scale, refusing a refund for a clearly documented delivery failure is unacceptable.

I made an order and order not confirmed, however, they deducted amount from me. I contacted support and was informed that within 5-7 business days I would receive my refund, hence, 10 days passed and nothing updated. Support team is useless, not helpful at all, team members have no communication, one saying it's resolved, another saying not resolved, another saying still in process. But they marked my refund case as resolved, while nothing has been resolved. Unbelievable, scamming customers

One of the worst delivery experiences I’ve had. They took my money but didn’t process the order, and customer service was completely unhelpful. I didn’t even ask for a refund at first — I just wanted the food I had already paid for. Instead, I got no meal, no solution, and a ruined lunch break.
What makes it worse is that I’m a Talabat Pro customer, and this is the level of service I received. Absolutely not worth paying for. I would not recommend subscribing to Pro if this is how issues are handled. Very disappointing and unreliable.

Talabat fraudulently charged my credit card for a transaction that doesn't exist for the 27th Jan'26. When i spoke to the customer services agent who is so poorly trained and refuses to accept my bank statement on email and would only accept any communication and attachments via chat on the app, the chat system on the app is broken and no matter how many screenshots you send through it the images are all distorted by default and doesn't pick up the transactions on the statement. I requested to send the statement via email and she refused fo accept it. The customer service agent name is Mariam who is undoubtedly one of the rudest person. Simply pathetic human beings and are like machines who will read things from a script. Never ever use their App. Talabat company should be ashamed of themselves. Im reporting them for fraud now!

Not to be trusted. These guys did not delivered my charger and they wont refund my money. They lied 3 times to me with 3 different excuses about why my charger never came. First, “they couldnt find the address” (burj khalifa residences, what?), then… “the charger was at reception”, then “at my doorstep”. When I show them proof from building management that they dis not enter they proceed to ignore such proofs and give me automated messages. What low a company can go just to keep 140 AED???
They replied here asking to send an email, i did, and 3 weeks later, still no answer

Very frustrating experience. I was advised by customer service to cancel my order due to a preorder issue and was told I would be refunded. I placed a new order and paid again, but the refund from the cancelled order has not been received since 7th January. This needs better customer support and faster resolution.

UPDATE: Oh and just an update they have now deleted my account which had post pay credit, and vouchers they gave me because of the issues and now I can't even contact them!
I was trying to place an order on talabat and it asked me to verify my number. So I put the number in got the code and it verified no problem, and then it took me back to the place your order screen. When I tapped placed order it took me to the screen ti verify my number again. It all worked fine but ended up in the endless loop and the order never getting placed. So I tried different numbers and the same thing.
After raising multiple tickets first being told its a technical problem and then being bounced around to different people. The next day I tried again but this time it wouldnt verify the number. Eventually late in the evening it allowed the verification again but when I tapped place my order it says my account has been blocked for violating terms and conditions.
This blocking was due to multiple number verifications, when I explained AGAIN to an agent to have a manager call me because I have been blocked for a violation that I was basically forced to do. The manager replied in a ticket saying I violated their terms and conditions and no action will be taken on my account and closed the ticket. Didn't even bother to call me...I have been a customer of Talabat for many years now and this is how they treat me. I am disgusted and appauled!

Talabat customer support is absolutely dreadful. I received food in poor quality and contacted support to report it. They kept asking for details through chat, only to then insist on having a phone call.
Someone who could barely speak understandable English called me, and I could hardly understand what he was saying. The entire point of the call was just to tell me it was “too late to report” and that they wouldn’t do anything.
So what was the point of dragging this out in chat first, and then wasting even more of my time with a call? Completely frustrating, unprofessional, and disappointing. Avoid.

I had a very disappointing experience with Talabat.
I received chestnuts that had clear white/gray mold and discoloration, which is a serious food safety issue. I reported it immediately with photos, expecting a quick and responsible response.
Instead, the customer support agent replied in an unprofessional way and basically dismissed the complaint, saying the pictures were not clear and asking me to send another one, even though the mold was visible.
This is not acceptable. When customers report moldy food, it should be treated seriously, not ignored or delayed.
Talabat needs to improve:
Quality control with vendors
Food safety handling
Support agent training and professionalism
I will think twice before ordering again.

Talabat was very good since many tears but since last approx 6 months, either their management has changed or they have stopped giving salary or commission to delivery boy. Every 3-4 order is delayed by 1.5-2 hrs and even they call or inform u by any ways. U will keep waiting and waiting and keep messaging to their representative in app but still u will not ne able to find solution. SO PLEASE I REQUEST U ALL TO START USING CAREEM OR ANY OTHER APP

If i can give lower than 1 star I will. The customer service of talabat has very poor service, unfair and dismissive. I have bought a food item (honey oman sidr) with the amount of 166 dirhams and I raised a ticket and concern that the item I received WAS NOT SEALED. It is very concerning as it was NOT SAFE to the consumer. The manager of the TALABAT in the complaint department his name is Mr. TASAWAR HUSSAIN, told me that per their policy in general, they cannot process a full refund on my item and only a compensation 15 dirhams can be done as resolution to my concern. IT IS VERY DISAPPOINTING AND VERY UNFAIR to the consumer who paid 166 dirhams. They don’t have any concern on the safety of the consumers and the request of my refund which is my right as a consumer who received a food item that was NOT SEALED. All of this was recorded in the call with him. And I have submitted a clear photo of the raw honey on the same day I received it showing that it was NOT SEALED. I hope this case will be investigated and the rights of the consumer is protected. In this case, my right was unfairly dismissed by TALABAT customer agent. I would like this not be treated to any other customer as it was a horrible experienced. Seriously.

300 AED Food order arrived 1 hour late!
Food arrived cold
Reason: They didn’t have a driver to deliver the food.
They give me 15 AED compensation which I didn’t ask for and because they give me the compensation after calling their customer service they were unable to give me a refund because the 15 AED had already been credited to my account.
Requested a manager to call me back and I got the same excuse refund not possible enjoy the cold food!
