We have been working with Talkdesk for around 18 months now, and are delighted with their service and the product. Their support team are super responsive every time you have a question, and have been great in assisting us with some custom configurations on our account. It was very easy to integrate Talkdesk with our existing systems, which means our agents find it easier than ever to solve phone queries. We also love the very customisable IVR, and the recent updates to the reporting section are a real value-add. I would definitely recommend Talkdesk as a phone provider!

The system is great and it has lots of wonderful features that have enabled us to be more efficient and thorough. However, not having a training guide or online help makes it very difficult to learn (the tutorials are good but they do not connect the dots and every time you want to view one to obtain answers you have to register and if you are not a visual learner you are out of luck). Additionally the onboarding training was not catered to how we are using the system and did not go over all features and how to best leverage all the tools. This has caused some misunderstandings, a lot of tickets and obstacles in learning that could have been avoided.
You could do better
There are much better options for a VoIP application, there are much worse options for a VoIP application. Talkdesk got plenty of hype by being called a "unicorn" company but has yet to really deserve that. The support is mediocre, the service itself is mediocre, the integrations are mediocre, the UI is consistently broken, basically everything about it is mediocre. Now the caveat is that yes this does work, it is extremely easy to implement (it's saving grace) and the recent implementation of a training program is pretty refreshing. Overall Right now the product just isn't there, you could do better.

I don't like how you are not able to anchor the call bar so it doesn't overlap with your work. There are too many screens you need to have open to use the application.

Talk desk is the best. It has made communication and just everything in general just easier, faster. Everything is always correct and the most up to date. It has for sure helped our business to be so successful.
Easy to Use, Easy to Implement & As Complex as You Need It
TalkDesk has been by far the most comprehensive as well as the easiest tool to implement of all the Technical Support Tools I've had to implement over the course of a decade.
We use the Tool to manage multiple phones as well as in multiple regions. It's integration with email and out ticketing system makes management of the tool just a completely automated process. We couldn't ask for a better tool to manage our calls.

Talkdesk has made it very easy for us to transition our reps from in-office to at-home. Very user friendly.
No problems in 4 years of use!
Our small business uses Talkdesk for all of our phone needs, including customer service, orders, and sales calls. We have not experienced any technical issues or outages in the four years we have been using the service. We like that it integrates with HelpScout to automatically import customer emails, as well as ticket creation for all incoming calls.
Voicemails are accessible, and the Slack integration lets us know when calls are in queue. Overall, I have been very happy with the service. We will continue to use Talkdesk for all of our calls.
Good Quality and Good Integrations
After using other VOIP softphones at our company, we switched to Talkdesk. Talkdesk has much better quality overall and very few issues over time (only minor inconveniences to our process, no actual service disruptions where Talkdesk was completely down). Additionally, it works very well with Salesforce for us. It did take a bit of setup for us to do, but definitely has most if not all of the functionality we were really looking for.

This is the first and only phone software I have used to connect with clients but I have no complaints. 9/10 times the connection is great. It is very easy to use and navigate.

It just works. Plan and Simple. The UI is easy to use, the service rarely (if ever) goes down, and the customer service team behind the scenes is second to none!
