High quality maps - Excellent service!
I discovered TalkyToaster’s maps while reading a few reviews of the mapping features of my Fenix 6x Pro. I initially ordered a one-off map for the British Isles and was impressed with the detail it offered.
I decided to upgrade to a subscription so I could get map updates but was not sure on the update frequency (even though this was clearly mentioned on the web site – I missed it). I used the web chat to ask the question. A few minutes later the phone rang; “Hey this is Martin from TalkyToaster, let me talk you through how our subscriptions work…”
I was amazed, I really didn’t expect a personal call, maybe an automated e-mail response, but not a phone call. A truly excellent personal service. I am confident that should I encounter a problem with any of the maps I have purchased, Martin will be there to help.
What a guy !
Purchased a downloadable map today for my Garmin handheld, great on line experience, easy to follow instructions with video tutorials if you need them. Also put the map on my fenix 6 pro.
Had a very small issue as I didnt follow Martin's instructions. He was on the phone within 2 minutes from me sending a query online.
Outstanding service which you rarely get nowadays.
Highly recommended.
Ohh and the maps are great too!
Thank you for making it a great experience!
talkytoaster maps for Garmin 64
bought micro card with British maps for our Garmin 64 finally got to use them after lockdown been out for a few Corbett's hills and some munros have been very impressed with level of detail so far not a single track/path/boundary line/named routes has been missing , used a bit for geocaching as well but nearly all on hills to be fair . better than the e-bay maps we previously used so delighted 😀
Best maps for Garmin products
Started looking at 3rd Party maps for my Garmin Fenix 6xPro and ended up on Talky Toaster website.
What a find!
I tried the live chat as there was quite a few different options, within seconds I was chatting to Martin and he quickly pointed me in the right direction.
I had soon paid for and downloaded the required map and quickly installed it following the guide on the website.
Once I had the maps onto the watch i had another little query, so i tried live chat again, bingo Martin was there in a flash and talked me through a couple of functions on the watch.
Best service I have ever come across on the internet!
Been using the British Isles contour…
Been using the British Isles contour route-able map for 2 years now and they are great. Good routing and very accurate IMO.
Order and up and running very quickly. 6*
I placed an order for routable maps and had a very efficient response to some assistance to get me going. I don't understand the bad reviews and concur with the responses from talkytoaster. Clearly a lot of effort goes in to these maps and their updates. I was a huge tracklogs fan going back around 15 years, and having spent money on my maps the company disappeared some years more recent with no support for new PC's or operating system upgrades. Even memory maps also now only offers a full uk map, no regional options, Maybe OS changed their licensing model? talkytoaster has quickly enabled me to get back on my mapping for walking and cycling at a very reasonable price and the routable option along with use of vector graphics is far superior to anything else I have seen. I would suggest that anyone with difficulties contacts talkytoaster as you will be hard pushed to get this level of support from the majority of shops, suppliers, vendors or resellers. I really can't fault the level of dedication talkytoaster puts in to helping us all get out with our digital maps.
A huge thanks you for coming up with a solution to an age old problem. You have 6 ****** from me.
Jason.
Excellent service and product.
Downloaded TT 1:50000 UK map last week following clear YouTube instruction from site. Must say I am supremely happy with product. Excellent detail and a joy to navigate through. There's no doubt a tremendous amount of work has gone into making the map as user friendly as it is. Thanks!
Excellent support
Martin has been a great help, use his maps and supports the maps in the best way possible.
so there's only one review possible EXCELLENT

Cant praise this Service enough! Many thanks again from another very satisfied customer!!!!! Chris!
FIVE STARS: Bought the Nepal Map on SD card...
Bought the Nepal Map last year on SD Card and have just loaded it onto my new Garmin Fenix 6x Pro. It was a bit tricky as I have a Mac that doesn't play so nicely with the 6x but Martin was able to guide me thru it in easy steps straight away. Mapping looks great on the watch and can't wait to use it in March whilst trekking up to Everest Base Camp
The best maps and the best service
I came across Martin's website by chance. Having just bought a Fenix 6 pro, and wanting to utilise its full potential I realised that Martin's maps were the thing to get. Garmin already have enough of my money and I had no intention of paying an arm and a leg for their more detailed maps, which are not as good as Martin's anyway. Martins maps are brilliant and to view the Lake District maps in 3D on my mac is fantastic. I made a silly error when initially purchasing my UK map from Martin's website, and Martin instantly responded and sorted it for me, this was much appreciated. In summary, his maps are brilliant and his customer service is excellent.
Exactly what I needed (maps AND knowledgeable advice)
Martin (Talky Toaster) has a wealth of mapping info on his site, it is initially quite daunting, but when you pick though it you find its an absolute treasure trove of essential info. I just bought a Garmin Oregon 750 and I needed to get a decent routable off-road running map. I was able to buy and download the exact map I needed, and with a little help from Martin via Twitter and phone (yes, he even phoned me to check all was well - legendary support!) I have it working perfectly. With another map I bought, my waypoints routed out at 118km and just didn't look optimal. With Martin's TT 1:50k DEM map, it routes out at 102km and definitely looks about as optimal as I can possibly imagine. So, in summary, informative website, great product, easy to buy, unbeatable support, and all ion all a great result.

tt map on my etrex 20x. Wow it's good. Going to be a real asset when I'm geocaching. Can see me getting the 1.50 look and feel map in the near future. A great product indeed.
Excellent service and a solid product…
Excellent service and a solid product at a great price. Really happy installing and using using this map cycling around Croatia for a week with my Garmin Fenix 5S Plus navigating me around the roads, trails and towns.
The distillation of helpfulness and…
The distillation of helpfulness and efficiency with an excellent product at very reasonable cost (compared with the other products available).
Unhesitatingly recommend.

AMAZING
Puts all other company to shame, responds in minuets, incredibly helpful, fantastic product and great value. what more could you want.
Well done Talkytoster

Talkytoaster maps are the best and work fantastic on both my Fenix 5 x and my new Garmin Marq watch. I can honestly recommend these maps as the best ever, Martin, from TT really goes out of is way to help you if you are struggling with anything both on your device and with installation of the maps he is only to please to call you and help.

Talky Toaster 50K maps for Fenix 5X
Fantastic product - pocket money for full UK 1:50K detailed routable maps with roads, trails, vector contours and detailed things like individual houses, phone boxes, trees, viewpoints, styles and gates... Installed on my Fenix 5X in minutes without problem. Will be a joy to navigate using these beautiful maps which are OS based but a lot more on top. Talky Toaster customer service outstanding. Beats any electronic goods purchase I have ever made before for value and quality. Please consider donating if you use the free maps which I also tried first and are also great, just not quite as detailed, as clearly a lot of work has gone into making them.

Reply from Talkytoaster
I recently downloaded the free Standard…
I recently downloaded the free Standard British Isles map from Talkytoaster and loved using it with my Fenix 5 X Plus. A couple of weeks later I decided to purchase the TT 1:50k British Isles map and was blown away. It has so much more detail and found it preferable with my device.
If you have tried the Standard map and like it, You are going to love the TT 1:50K maps. They are as good, if not better, than 1:25K paper maps
If you are happy with Standard map and are going to stick with it, please consider making a donation.
Today, using the contact form, (found on the Talkytoaster website) I emailed a general enquiry. I hit the send button and headed for my kitchen to make a brew.
Before I could get there, my mobile rang. It was Martin from Talkytoaster, who was happy to answer any questions. Wow, I was impressed.
If only all businesses were this good.
I look forward to purchasing more maps of Europe from Talkytoaster for my travels.
Great customer service
Great customer service. Very quick delivery and maps which are better than those supplied by Garmin. Thank you Martin. I would recommend these maps without reservation. 😎
