DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. They are NOT a Tauranga, NZ based company as their website suggests and their clothing is one big have. 90 Day refund guarantee is a load of rubbish. They do not honor their returns or items and when trying to return these like everyone else said you have to return to China address. They go under cover with the same rubbish responses giving you 'options' and NOT refunds. The two dresses I ordered were hideous and not what the photo showed. On further investigation I placed my order on Afterpay and Afterpay are based in the Phillipines and as bad as this company to deal with. Going around in circles getting nowhere. So, I have cancelled my Visa card and will not be buying anything on Afterpay again nor off Tauranga Boutique website which I see has disappeared from FB. Wished I had seen these reviews before I purchased, given I was on holiday and only had my phone to order from not laptop that I could see more details. EXTREMELY disappointed in this repeat of offers and not what their guarantee entails. FULL REFUND. Rip off Zoey and her BS correspondence.

Like the other reviewers, I am totally disappointed with this so-called local Tauranga "boutique", their fake mission statement, and everything about the entire experience. I am also disappointed in myself that I got sucked in.

I checked first that they would refund if the dress I wanted to order, was not right, and received assurances that was simple to do. Once I got the dress, it wasn't right (awful fabric), and wanted to return it. That's when I got bombarded by generic emails pleading with me not to send it back to China/HK because they are an "environmentally sustainable company". AND the cost - on me - was more than the awful dress. Each email gave me a bigger discount code. I finally agreed for them to "reimburse me" with a voucher, but there isn't anything I want from them.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Total misrepresentation, not local, and the items I can now see are on many other websites - no brands!

Total scam!! Sucked me in and I'm pretty web savvy! There is no store and there are many others that are the same!! Ordered some $164 sneakers 50% off for $82 - they're barely a $20 pair of shoes. Absolute crap! Took weeks to arrive. This is crap from Shein or Temu but totally misrepresented & misleading!!

I ordered a funky pair of sneakers; they looked fantastic on the Website. I was totally sure I was buying them local, from Tauranga.
Well, was i fooled or what!!

The shoes arrived. The first thing I noticed was the lack of packaging. Shoes normally arrive in a box. These arrived in a plastic bag. The smell that came out of that bag was absolutely toxic, to the point I quicky closed the bag gagging!!!

When I finally reopened the bag to let try the shoes on, they didn't fit.
Far too small for even though I ordered my normal size.

No worries I thought, they offer a no hassle 90-day money back guarantee.

Yeah right!!!

What an absolute nightmare trying to get a refund. I was bombarded with generic emails banging on about sustainability etc. And then told the cost would be on me to return them. I was quoted NZ$117 to send them back to China. They only cost me $85.

I ended up accepting an offer of a gift card to the same value to spend in their horrible smelly store.

I'm not expecting anything of quality to come by way of replacement.

I guess the only positive is I actually got SOMETHING for my money.

Cheap polyester, poorly made imitation of the advertised items.
I reported to my credit card company and they have refunded me. I have also reported to Commerce Commission. Let’s get these scum shut down!

Should be zero or negative
Even if you return the goods you do not get credited
Product is the worst I have ever seen
And their price is about 10 times what you can buy the same thing for on AliExpress

Big con! Ordered 3 dresses, like others thinking it is Tauranga based, but lord knows where they are based!
No refund - several ridiculous offers which I would never accept as the quality of the material is coarse and revolting, and sizes Asian, This is a con - and a deliberate one to make NZers believe they are locally based. Bad taste literally and fashion-wise - AVOID!!!

Do not purchase from this company! They are Chinese and not from Tauranga NZ! The clothes if you get them are cheap basic material and very low quality! They are basically a scan as they charge the NZ dollar for a really crap imitation of the image on line!! Avoid as you will be really disappointed - should be ashamed of themselves doing this to people with hard earned money in an economic crisis!

I have probably been luckier than other customers but I fell into the trap of thinking it was an NZ company until I realised my money had gone to HongKong. My shirt arrived within 2 weeks - no packing slip or any other documentation. No label at all on the shirt. I had ordered a medium thinking it was NZ sizing but of course Asian sizing is way smaller, it certainly doesn’t fit me.Without paperwork , I doubt that I can do an exchange for a bigger size and indeed I would be very hesitant to commit to another order. I might pass it on to a slimmer friend….

This company is so bad ! They sent wrong item I have showed them pictures of how it’s wrong and they still saying they sent right item !
Then they want to charge me to return it to China ! But they sent something I didn’t order at all !!!! Reported them ! Unfair that they should get away with this

Purchased 19 Nov 24, arrived early Dec, got in contact 9th Dec, to receive the run around, of course you cant return to the NZ address, Not know at that address. Totally a scam. BIGGEST SCAMMERS OUT> DO NOT BUY/WASTE YOUR MONEY

Sadly I was sucked in thinking I'd shop local. I am usually good at checking reviews and making sure its legit. Received dresses, decided they didn't suit my figure. Asked for refund details to be told that I could keep them and be given a 10% refund due to cost of sending back to China and them wanting to look after the environment. I'm so angry. Please don't buy from this place

As many of the below have experienced, I too failed to check the original of the close, only became suspicious when I ask to cancel the order which took way too long for a local company. If anyone else.on these threads want to sent back a joint parcel of return items...reach out

Worst experience of my life absolute rubbish claiming registered trade mark -false
There are 3 shops -Velore Queenstown, Marton Frazer claims to be NZ registered company and Tauranga Boutique. Same advertising etc none legit. Made stupid old lady mistake usually very careful but didn’t check. Thought would treat myself for Christmas. I live on pension so was lot of money wasted 😢😢😢

I am disappointed that I didn't check this place out as a scam before purchasing. The item does not fit even though I made sure it was the right size according to their size chart. I am now in the process of asking for a refund but judging by other reviews this seems very unlikely. Once bitten twice shy.
As at 5 Jan I am adding to my review. I waited several days for a reply from TB and when it came it was all smoozing. Trying to butter me up with an exciting 10% discount to keep the item. Yeah right! Even tried to tell me I would be looking after the environment by not sending it back. What! They are an online sales outlet!!!. However I have told them I will return the garment when I receive the refund (which I don't expect). Now looking at how I can alter the top so that it will fit me. Never again.

I had the same experience as Barbara. A total scam. Items are not what they supposedly look like… they also take 4-5 weeks to arrive and are total rubbish. They also do not honour their guarantee of a refund. I suspect other “boutiques” appearing online like Wanaka boutique and most recently Dunedin boutique are run by the same scammers. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE

As you can see from other reviews. Do not buy from this site. I should have read the reviews before but didn't. I ordered the Thalia dress. Totally misrepresented in photos. Bad quality material and just a glorified tee shirt. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE.

Total Scam. Unfortunately I didn’t check reviews as I normally do, before purchasing from Tauranga Boutique. Received a dress and it was nothing like the photo, the fit was terrible and awful fabric. I have spent days emailing them and returned it to their Tauranga address. The parcel was returned to me by courier saying no such business at the address and it is a “boutique scam”. I have finally been given an address in China but when I calculated the cost to send it, it was almost as much as the cost of the dress and with no guarantee that I would even get a refund it’s not worth risking it. I’m sure this is part of their whole scam. Zoey is the person who signs all the emails “love Zoey”. Judging by all the reviews a lot of people have been scammed.
