In New Zealand, Taurus’s communication was generally good. For most of my queries, I received swift responses. However, there were several issues that left me dissatisfied. The dates for dropping the car at the port were changed multiple times, which resulted in me having to pay daily storage charges for almost a week. In addition, the quote I received in New Zealand was not complete, as some items were missing from the original list.

My experience with Taurus in Australia was more disappointing. Communication did not meet expectations, and I was required to pay additional charges for items that were not included in the original quote. Although Taurus arranged for the car to be dropped at the garage, no one informed me about the car’s arrival. After waiting four days without any update, I had to contact Taurus myself to find out where my car was. Overall, it took approximately seven weeks for my car to be transported from Auckland to Sydney, which was longer than expected.

Very professional outfit. Communication was very prompt and any change to shipping schedule notified to us immediately. Importunately the companies they worked with in overseas ports were equally efficient.
Our overlanding trip with 2 vehicles to Europe and Africa was made so stress free I would have no hesitation on using them again.

Hayley was great to deal with and made the whole process of importing a classic car from Aussie very painless.

Had a great experience with Taurus thus far booking my car from the UK to Australia. They were the one company who gave a more or less all inclusive price which was the lowest too. Couldn’t be happier and cannot eat until my car arrives in Aus.

We used Taurus Logistics for the NZ end of shipping our four motorcycles from KL, Malaysia to Wellington. Their quoting was accurate, communication was very good and instructions clear. The process was very clear. I would recommend Taurus to motorcyclists and anyone else importing into NZ.

Stay away. Taurus are notorious for: Stacking fake micro-fees
Splitting one service into 3–4 line items. Charging “UK–NZ quarantine compliance” fees that don’t exist. Overcharging fumigation like it’s gold-plated. Padding trucking/handling massively. They quoted me $3k for a small caravan fumigation and then another $500 for trucking fumigation to the port and another $600 for origin handling at the port. Stay Away. Somehow they are actually defending there made up charges that don't exist in the shipping process. Amazing they are in business. I guess they prey on the naive.

Moving can be a worrying time and there are always so many questions that come up, often in the middle of the process. I certainly appreciated the very helpful staff from Taurus Logistics during my international move. Especially the helpful, thoughtful and efficient work by Haley Sears and Richard Hack in resolving the move for my Private container, including Customs assistance and also for the involved process of bringing over my special vehicle. They often went out of their way to assist and were always quick to respond to my enquiries. Highly recommend their services

Taurus have been great to deal with, from first contact to delivery Richard and his team walked me through the process of importing 7 motorcycles from the UK to Brisbane. Their price was reasonable and the bikes arrived safely with no issues at all. I will be doing another shipment with them next year and they will be at the top of my list for anyone looking for recommendations to anyone in the future who requires vehicle importation. Couldn’t be happier.

Great Support, Though Website Could Be Clearer:
The team has been fantastic to deal with – always polite, prompt, and genuinely helpful with every question. Their communication made the process easy to follow and very professional. The only challenge I found was that the website can feel a bit overwhelming at first, and it would be helpful if it gave a clearer idea of the possible extra costs, like vehicle evaluation, import application fees, and marine insurance. Overall, a really positive experience with great customer support.
