My wife downloaded the app yesterday…

My wife downloaded the app yesterday and registered her Credit Card, her bank has just rang her to say they have blocked her from using her card with Bolt because they have had complaints regarding fraudulent activities with Bolt. They also advised her to keep an eye on her statements to make sure it has not been changed with anything. Goes without saying we will stick with Uber.

Total daylight robbery

Total daylight robbery. Charged me £45 instead of an estimated £14 for a 10 mile journey that took 35 minutes. I emailed them, they said it’s a “surge price” they put in place when they don’t have enough cars?! What?! I was given zero indication of this and they were incredibly unhelpful.

Don’t Blaime the drivers

(Zero or negative rating if I could) Don’t Blaime the drivers. This is by far the worst driver service/app in London.
They have zero driver support. They deal with London, one of the most important cities in the world, as they do Africa and East Europe, on which their system is founded. No disrespect intended !
However if your a London user, understand you will only get newbie or clueless drivers, as any Pro-driver with a good car, would not use this shoddy service that doesn’t even have driver support when things go wrong. Eg. ( one of many examples) If System wrongly charges u, I couldn't ask them refund you as I have no means to contact them. They have have taken keeping cost low to another level. No support. My last message was answered 3 weeks after asking. You pay what you get I guess. Stick with Uber (instant professional telephone support) , it really ain’t worth the few pennies u supposedly save (and from reviews don’t get back if things go wrong).Just dont Blame the drivers !! Continue to use if the 50p that u save matters

Awful company

Awful company. App sent driver to wrong address which happened to be the same street name but was over 7 miles from my location. Cancelled ride after speaking to the driver and was charged £6. Immediately booked another cab which arrived correctly and got me home. When queried next day they just kept telling me the cancellation was my fault and nothing they could do. App uses GPS tracking so how can it be my fault. My phone was not 7 miles away from me!!!! Why would I order a cab to pick me up and request it to go 7 miles fro. My location!!! This must be an app error but they will not acknowledge!! Never use this company stick with Uber/Kapten!! Their app works correctly and I have never had this issue in over 30 journeys!!!

Bolt/hopp/Taxify need disappearing

Does anyone know where I can visit Bolt/hopp/taxify office in London!!!!!

I really would like to have drivers, police, government, solicitors TFL there at the same time...I am having issues after issues, their system is unbearable and they’re stealing my money !!!! they need to disappear from this trade and stop doing the same to other drivers!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

The price shown when I booked my trip was half of what I have been charged!!!!!!! Moreover, they have charged £10 on my card (on a different transaction) as a “verification step”, first time this happen to me.

I used to drive for them, not anymore!! Lol

I’m a driver for bolt and I’ve left them within a month, they robbed me for a car wash and 2 promotions that I have achieved. They take like a week to reply each time, their employees clearly getting paid to do s*** all. Just use this app for its promotions and leave. Stick to uber!!

This company does not even deserve one…

This company does not even deserve one star. They are thieves, their app shows you a certain amount but once you finish the ride, you are charged double the amount and this has not happened with me once but twice. Therefore it’s clear they are involved in unethical business practices. I have been waiting for an apology and my money back, but if they don’t I would contact fair trade. Please don’t use their services they will rob you of your money

The worst ever

The worst ever. Overcharges, no refunds, terrible drives unsafe cars. I have instructed them to close my account and have deleted the app. Uber is not perfect but compared to Taxify/Bolt it is a limousine service.

I added my friends card to my account…

I added my best friends card to my bolt account. Bolt then blocked my account I rang Bolt and they told me the only way to unblock my account was to take a selfie picture holding a government document. I was very shocked as there was definitely no need for that. I immediately deleted the app

Bolt is the worst cab service you can use in London!!

Bolt is the worst cab service you can use they have overcharged me 5th time!!! And they don’t want to refund me back my money!! They try giving me any excuses they can give me to avoid refunding me back what I’ve been overcharged for, also they always try give you promo codes voucher just to make you happy well clearly they have taken way too much of the fare price, I will not be using bolt again they have the worst customer service ever I could never imagine they would scam you like this!!! I would be more than happy to make a big complaint about this service and take this further BOLT is absolutely a SCUM!

Innovative way to get scammed

Price has doubled more than once and taxis often cancel, when they find out that the drive isn't as remunerating as they hoped for (too short, too long etc.). When asking for a refund for the doubled price, Bolt/Taxify offer you bloody gift card and tell you to sod off quietly (a gift card of your own money stolen from you! the irony). The drive more often ends up more expensive than it does the correct displayed price - self-evidently never less.

Started to kind of miss the golden days, where a Russian with a gold chain tried to scam you 50% of the times and fighting for right price was a natural part of the taxi culture. No worries, Taxify/Bolt offers a more elegant way to get ripped off than classical taxi.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Can only contact them via the app so when I left my phone in a car by accident I had no way to contact them. Also tried resetting my password on the account twice and never received an email to actually allow me to reset it. Also the location services tech is terrible in London so you have to manually enter the address you want to be picked up from. Improve your tech Bolt because right now you don't even have the basics right.

Horrible

Horrible! Charged me £25 above the estimated price despite the time of the journey staying the same :( I complained on the app and website. No reply came. Never using it again! Uber would have handled the issues within hours and refunded the difference.

Overcharged

Charged double the quoted amount. This app gives you an "estimate" price without telling you this and then charges you double and sods off with your money. Never using them again. I have demanded for a refund but nothing.

Terrible customer service and way too expensive

Taxify, now Bolt, is a horrible company. I used Bolt in Tbilisi, Georgia and not only have multiple rides cancelled on me last minute, but my latest problem has been payment issues. Bolt blocked all of my cards on my account due to "fraudulent activities" about 3 months ago and I have been forced to use cash only, which is extremely inconvenient at times. I have been in touch with their "customer service" and they are still trying to resolve this problem, 3 months later. I have given up on Bolt and have switched to Yandex, a cheaper and more reliable company.

Ordered a bolt cab

Ordered a bolt cab. Few minutes later driver rang me to ask where I was going then cancelled the journey! Nothing on the app tells you the journey was cancelled! Waited 10 minutes then ordered an uber. Crap service. Obviously my journey was not profitable enough for the driver.

Stick to Uber, London

They've launched in London throwing around promotions trying to get people to switch from Uber. DON'T! I've taken Bolt twice now and both times the estimated wait time has been completely wrong. The first time it said 5 mins and he took 20 mins to arrive. The second time I had to pay a £1.50 wait fee even though the driver didn't have to wait. I complained via the chat support but got no response. Just another pretender that will fall by the wayside.

I started to use Taxify before it…

I started to use Taxify before it changed the name to Bolt and was quite happy about it. The price was lower than Uber, the drivers tended to be very caring and even helped me once in urgent situation. But recently I notice a decline in quality since I encounter drivers who takes a longer route, drivers who takes the order in advance before ending the previous one and then drops it without any notice.. The final straw was my last trip that didn't happened at all because the car broke down and I had to take my bicycle instead..
