I took a ride today that was quoted 7euros and when we arrived at destination 15 mins later he demanded 25euros claiming it was the traffic. Don't think the traffic justified him tripping our cost.
Driver's name was Isidore.

DO NOT TAKE BOLT

DO NOT TAKE BOLT. I was quoted 7 euros and it ended up being 25 euros for a 10 minute ride in Paris. They just scam you and steal your money.

Use Uber, Taxify Bolt not to be trusted.

Agree with everything below. Good luck with customer ‘support’. They just send a standardized response then close the ticket. I got a taxi to the airport which ended up 250-300% more than quoted price. When you look at the trip details you can see that the start time and end time of the journey do not relate to the journey time! In other words, fraudulent. You use these apps to avoid situations like this with taxi drivers. Taxify/Bolt enables it. I’ve never had a problem with Uber. Stick with them.

It's a fraud taxi app

It's a fraud taxi app. The price you accept at the beginning is not what you pay at the end. At first, the price for my trip was 150 czk(6 euro) then in 2 seconds it became 250 czk(10 euro).I was in a rush and accepted the price 250 czk but at the end of the trip I was charged 390 czk(almost 16 euro!!) from my card. The payment I noticed that the destination address wasn't my, it was more far away. I tried to contact customer support to explain to me why I was charged that higher price. I received a reply only on the 3rd day that "you are right that address is different and probably the driver forgot to cancel the trip and we will talk t him and here we offer you 2 discount codes for you next trips but you can use them together"! Nothing about why I was charged this money, nothing about refunding, only 2 codes that I can use only for 2 different trips to make me spend money again on their service, which I don't want!

Taxify needs to talk to their drivers

Taxify needs to talk to their drivers, every time I book a Taxify to go to work in the morning the driver will take 10xs as long as Uber will just because they either drive in circle or are awaiting a longer more expensive trip and will start making their journey to their new customer and leaving myself stranded and late to work when I’ve tried to rely on their drivers, they never pick up their phone nor do they text back. Taxify makes it hard for customers to place complaint on their app and drivers also, which will be hard for them to improve their customer base if they aren’t fully open to feedback. They will never reach the level of Uber nor will they reach the level of a general Taxi. Their drivers are ignorant and have no sense of moral or customer service which is unfortunate since they rely on good customer service for returning customers.
I have deleted the app and now re downloaded Uber and yellow cabs.

DO NOT TAKE BOLT

Trust Uber! That’s the right thing to do. Don’t count on Bolt. Bolt gave horrible estimation of time. My estimated transit time to the airport from 30 mins becomes a 60 mins. I missed my flight.Worst thing is that when I tell the customer service people, they would not even give u a refund of the ride(let alone any other compensation). I have been on emails with them for week. Their customer service tried to blame it on the driver for not taking the most optimal route. Horrible customer service experience. Uber would refund u in a heartbeat for any incident that’s happened. Take Uber.

Substandard customer service, badly thought out account recovery process

After forgetting my phone in a Taxify car on March 31st, I sent the customer support several emails asking for help contacting the driver, attaching the receipt of the ride to my numerous queries. A few days after I managed to buy a sim card with my old number and log into my Taxify account using a friend's phone (it is impossible to log into your account and contact customer support through the chat without the number it is originally associated to, thus making it a very complicated procedure for people losing their phones in driver's car to ask for help- and I am positive that must be a recurring issue).

I only received an answer 12 days after my first email which is unbelievably long.
I was informed that Taxify would get in touch with the driver to inquire about my phone.

Immediately after I received an email from them confusing me with the actual driver and asking me to confirm that someone had lost a phone in my car. Great job.

I do understand that my lost phone isn't their responsibility, however, a company does have an obligation to communicate efficiently with their customers, and to answer queries, if possible with professionalism. If they hadn't ignored my reaching out for 12 days I may have had a chance to recover my phone. At this point the driver has probably thrown it out or given it away and I can't really blame him.

Such inefficient and slow customer service makes me very hesitant to use the app or ever recommend it in the future, since I do not trust them to deal with any possible issue that may arise when using a transportation service (payment errors, undue charges, reporting possibly dangerous experiences, etc).

Customer service matters.

AVOID

AVOID: DANGEROUS. TO SUMMARISE, THE PORTO DRIVER FALSELY RECORDED THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE TRIP, REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE PICK UP LOCATION, CHARGED ME FOR THE WAIT TIME, TOOK THE WRONG ROUTE, WOULD NOT STOP THE CAB WHEN HE SPED PAST THE DESTINATION BUT FINALLY HAD TO STOP WHEN WE REACHED A CUL-DE-SAC. HE WOULD NOT LISTEN TO ME WHEN I ASKED TO STOP THE CAB AND I HAD TO DISEMBARK AND WALK. HE CHARGED ME FOR THE ENTIRE NIGHTMARE JOURNEY. AS A SINGLE WOMAN TRAVELLER THIS WAS TERRIFYING. I REPORTED HIS BEHAVIOUR TO THE COMPANY AND THEY HAVE DENIED ANY WRONG-DOING

There is a very good reason why people…

There is a very good reason why people choose uber over taxify. I chose the price over the quality the other day, choosing taxify overt uber for $10 less. In turn, I had a stressful and unpleasant experience that proved to me that I should stick with uber.
The driver was stated on the app too be 1 minute away. So I went to wait for him downstairs. I could see on the app that he was driving away from me so I messaged him. No response. I called. He answered saying he was just dropping someone off and he would be 2 min. I can see from the map that this was untrue as he kept driving further away. I was mid sentence when he hung up on me.
Over 10 minutes after I had left to go wait for the cab, the driver calls me, trying to explain that taxify has somehow given him another job and now he was 15 minutes away from me. I told him that it would have been polite to cancel so that I can get another cab as I have Doctor's appointment that I cannot be late for. He asks if I can wait for him. I get a bit upset as I have been waiting for about 15 minutes now after the app kept telling me he was a few minutes away. I ask him to cancel the booking as I do not deserve to be fined for this and again, mid sentence, he hangs up on me.
I am now in an uber. That came in one minute. Exactly the time it said it would take. And will make it to my appointment just slightly late but not as late as I would have been if I tried to call another taxify taxi.
I don't drive so I'm an avid ride share user. In such a competitive market, you guys really need to step it up.

Taxify service in Poland, outrageous scam

I ordered a ride through the Taxify app on the 1st of January. The app showed a price of 26 zloty (about 6 Euros) and the ride was ordered from the Central Railway Station in the city center of Poznan to my house (exactly 14 km). As we arrived I asked the driver whether I can pay in cash, which he assured me that I can. He told me that the price is 90 zloty (21 Euros) for the ride, because it is New Year’s Eve and that there is a multiplier of x4, and that if I pay him the ride will have been paid-for. I paid him and left the cab. 1 hour later I receive a message from Taxify telling me to charge my card and pay them an additional 201 zloty (almost 47 Euros). I texted Taxify through their app but they do not seem very eager to help in solving the issue. I received an answer that “they cannot help more apart from passing my message forward to the driver”, even though the driver admitted to the person from support that I have paid him, lying that it was a “tip”.

They also refused to give away the driver’s contact information due to their policy. What is more, according to Taxify, the trip happened from the city center to my house AND BACK to the city center, so 28 km together, which is false as I left the car at my house. The driver deliberately did not end the trip at my house and continued to drive all the way back to the city center.

Taxify is clearly approving the driver’s thievery and cannot even disclose his contact information, which leaves the case at a dead end.

I also want to point out that the Taxify app gave absolutely no information about the x4 multiplier during the new year’s eve, and are now demanding that I pay another 47 Euros after having already paid the driver. It was also my first ride so, according to Taxify, I had a 50% discount on my first 10 rides.

I just want to say - do not leave your credit card information with this company, they function like a legal mafia. You will be scammed and will not even know what you paid for, when the money was deducted from your account nor for what reason.
Good luck finding a fair and transparent taxi company for your journeys!

Taxify worst ever experience!

Worst service ever, do NOT use it! The first trip overcharged 25%, the Second trip left my guests at terminal 3 in Prague with overcharge of 25%, so they had to take an uber to terminal 2 ( 275 CZK extra).

You got 2 chances Taxify, app deleted.

Must be run morons

Must be run by total morons after downloading the app you are asked to enter your telephone number and then click next.. It then says "The phone number is incorrect, country code is required. The country code is already showing so you click next again and come back to the same message. You could keep going around in this circle until you die or you could just delete the app.

Horrible service

Often when requesting a ride, the suggested vehicle is too far away. Ultimately the customer ends up speaking to the driver and agreeing to cancel the ride, but since the customer needs to request another ride, they are the ones who do the cancellation. A few times cancellation like that and your account is blocked. This is what happened to me. That's is horrible service.

Worst service ever!

This service is a one big fiasco. Drivers are very rude and the customer support is non-existing. I gave this service a multiple chances, and except two times, it always resulted in cancelling the ride or being charged siginificatly more than estimate! Their promotions looks great, but don’t get fooled like me! I’ll keep using Uber or Lyft, because this service is a one big scam. I’ve tried multiple times, please, believe me, they’re liars. Have nice day.

DON'T USE the TAXIFY rideshare service

DON'T USE the TAXIFY rideshare service. Especially don't trust them with your credit card details.

They charged my credit credit 8 months after I supposedly used their service, without an explanation. I queried this and asked for an explanation but all they could jabber on about and provide was a plain receipt. I
can type up any receipt myself .... it's not proof. I couldn't check the supposed ride on their app on my phone, because it crashed every time I went into my longer history. They said that the app would only show the past 3 months anyway ....very convenient for them. All other rideshare apps like Uber and Ola show my complete history.

Poor, poor , poor and shonky.

AVOID THEM
