Taylor Emmett were brilliant right from the beginning. I was on the end of a very tight deadline. The matter was dealt with quickly and efficiently with special mention to Elsa Russell, who really went that extra mile to get a quick turnaround. I wouldn't hesitate to use Taylor Emmett again or recommend them to others.

I used Taylor Emmet as the solicitors for my recent house sale. Everything was a smooth easy process from start to finish and I have no complaints, or any hesitation in using them in future. T’Yana was particularly helpful in keeping me up to date with everything.

f you are ever going through a messy probate, you need to use this lady, Phillippa Newbould. She went above and beyond her call of duty dealing with the conveyancing of our late father’s house.

We sold to a solicitor who promised he could complete the sale in five weeks, which also put Phillippa under pressure. She worked so hard for this to happen, but the solicitor buying the property did not keep his promise. Eventually, we got there in the end.

I’m not sure if you give out awards for your employees, but this lady deserves a medal.

Thanks again, Phillippa. I would highly recommend using Phillippa and will be using her again in the near future — hopefully in better circumstances.

I instructed Taylor & Emmet for my recent property purchase and was very happy with the service. My case was managed by Helen Millard and her team, including support from Alex George. I was a first time buyer, so quite inexperienced with the process but they were all very helpful, prompt with their searches and replies, and the online portal was great to get documents sent/ received quickly. There was only 1 small misunderstanding with the expected sum of mortgage funds on the day of exchange, but my lender had very confusingly worded documentation so I don’t fault them for that! Alex was also very accommodating on that day while I called back and forth to check things with my mortgage broker! Would highly recommend Taylor & Emmet for property conveyancing and I will consider using them again in the future.

Michaela Evans at Taylor Emmet was recommended to me by a friend to handle my divorce. She was fantastic throughout the process; she was empathetic, efficient, and thorough. Communication was always excellent. In addition, she referred me to the Conveyancing department as part of the process, and they were also brilliant.

It was very encouraging how keen she was to explore more collaborative options to avoid going to court, while always focusing on my best interests and priorities.

Her kindness and patience made a difficult process much more bearable, and she achieved a really good outcome for me in challenging circumstances.

I have used 3 different departments at Taylor and Emmet over the last few years and was badly let down on each occasion. They are more interested in extracting as much profit as possible than acting as a professional advocate. There are plenty of more reliable solicitors to be found in Sheffield, I recommend using them and avoiding Taylor and Emmet like the plague.

I got both Nichola Barnes and Rae McDermid of their Dronfield Office involved in taking care of my Elderly Fathers Business regarding Care Home Fees and the Sheffield City Council. I thought my problems in this regard were insurmountable. Fortunately having them on board was like having extended family and they soon cleared my problems up. I can highly recommend their services.

Excellent service from Philippa Newbould and her colleagues at Taylor Emmet. The conveyancing team were professional throughout the sale of a property in the Peak District and were easy to contact and very quick to respond to any questions.
