I bought a Stealth 2 driver cracked
I bought a Stealth 2 driver about two years ago. Today, the back of my head cracked. Since I believe it's a structural problem, I've returned the driver to the store where I purchased it. The owner of the store in Almancil (near Faro, Portugal) told me he'll contact the representative to have the driver examined by the TaylorMade technical center. I hope TaylorMade recognizes the structural defect because I've only hit golf balls with the driver and nothing else.
Shoddy Manufacturing
Was custom fitted for a new set of Sim2 irons and driver. I've always had TaylorMade for over 30 years ... until now. The driver cracked after 3.5 years and the plastic cover on the hozel came adrift on the irons. All the other ones I've had previously have been fine but these....stay well away. My new driver will NOT be TaylorMade.
Don't buy! Guarantee means nothing!
Do not buy these clubs! They do not honour the guarantee! My husband bought a full set just over 12 months ago. He plays 9 holes most weeks with the occasional 18 holes and some practice in the driving range.
He was using the driver in the driving range 2 weeks ago, and the face of the club broke and fell off. The manufacturers have refused to honour the guarantee, saying its not covered. This is extremely poor customer service.
Taylormade.com purchasing experience is the worst!
One of the worst company to purchase from & the worst in customer service relationships!
I returned my golf golf club within the one month return policy, but never my refund, had to dispute charges with my credit card company. I do not & will not buy from TaylorMade again new on line, and will not recommend to anyone buying from there website! buy from ebay used, like new equipments, they have better customer service & return policy than TaylorMade.com!!
Taylormade warranty
Taylormade warranty
Was incredible they were super friendly and sorted my problem out within 2 weeks . Best customer service !
Just after lock down I purchased a full…
Just after lock down I purchased a full set of Taylormade woods. Sim max 2 Driver, 3 and 5 wood. The Driver has developed a fault with the top part coming loose. Out of warranty only 2 years. Having spoken with people this is a common fault and normally fails within warranty. My Golf Pro has said he contacted Taylormade and nothing can be done.
Taylormade does not stand by their product
This company is terrible to deal with ! Purchased a driver from this company and a little over a year the driver split ! Contacted taylormade and they will do nothing for me ! Little over a year using it given that I can only use the clubs in our short summer is terrible ! Do not waste your hard earned money on this brand as the company does not stand by their product!
8 weeks minimum lead time
I ordered a new set of clubs for my wife. Obviously the money was taken from my account. Then told it would be EIGHT weeks at the earliest. Ridiculous time scale. It’s the last time I will order any taylormade clubs
Serious fraudsters
Serious fraudsters. Ordered then immediately cancelled the order which they acknowledged but then persisted in trying to take £58.99 out of my sons Go Henry account TWICE a day.
This attempt was made at least 60 times despite them telling me they would speak to IT to resolve.
I had to cancel the account in the end. Thought of financial ombusdman and even the police (fraud) but Go Henry were excellent in their assistance.
Please do not go near these guys.
Worst online experience I have ever had
SIM2 driver broke TM will do nothing
I bought a SIM2 Max D driver 3.5 years ago. Whilst playing last week the head broke around the bottom seam (when I drove). Took it back to American Golf who contacted Taylor Made. TM said the warranty was for 2 years. Won’t do a thing. That’s clearly a manufacturer fault but they seem to think a driver lasting no more than 3.5 years is fine. Shame on you TM. I have had to temporarily go back to my Calloway X2 driver which is (TM take note) 10 years old and beautifully intact. I’m really annoyed as I actually loved the SIM2 (and the P790’s) but feel I can’t trust the brand now. Real shame.
Iron heads fall off
Was fitted for custom made Taylor Made Qi 10 which then ordered through a local retailer. I have started getting into golf again over the past year using my old 25+ yr old irons. First day at the range 3 irons head flew off - went back to old clubs.
Taylor Made agreed to replace the set as a "one off" which I am still waiting for - I will definitely film my first day and post if the heads fly off again.. There is the implication that somehow this was my fault.. which reading other posts suggests this is not a unique issue..
Interestingly the custom TM HiToe 4 was brought at the same time and has not had any issues. I also have been using new Callaway Drive/wood/hybrids with no issue over the past 6 months. So basically all other golf clubs I own have held up.. except Day 1 with a new TM set..
UPDATE 2026: No issue with replacement set, barely remember this happened (post a lot of golf). Happy with irons as a whole- must have been a one off.

If I could give a negative star I would. Their trade in is a joke and just used rob their customers a brand new club value is $140, their customer service doesnt care I would 100% buy your clubs from anywhere else where they value their customers
worst customer service
worst customer service. They sended me the wrong items. I paid 120 + Euro and they have sended me an item for around 50 Euro I have never ordered. After contacting them they have been not helpful at all. I would need to cover the costs for return by myself because Iam in europe and not GB and then I would get a refund. Will never order from their page again, and would not recommend to place a order at their webshop.
I ordered a custom putter and after…
I ordered a custom putter and after three weeks of waiting I texted them to see what the status was then in a minute or so I got the reply that they have cancelled my order and that I have to wait 7 working days to get my refund and then they urged me to place the order again.
They should have been able to tell me right away but now I wasted 4 weeks and there was no compensation and they would not prioritize my order such that I could avoid waiting 4 weeks again.
Not going to order from them again!!!
Most unhelpful customer service for a…
Most unhelpful customer service for a guy that has played taylormade his whole life.
Have never complained and then asked them to send another bag that was one month out of warranty, the photos showed what a bad state the bag was in and should not be the case with just a year of use.
Don’t buy TaylorMade drivers
Don’t buy TaylorMade drivers. The faces crack pretty consistently. Warranty is only good for 2 years…cheap product.
Taylor Made great Tour Truck fitting
I was invited to have a Taylor Made tour truck fitting at Clubhouse Golf in Warrington this week.
I must admit I have always been a fan of Taylor Made clubs and always have a custom fit at my local club. However having the experts at Taylor Made fiit my driver was too good an opportunity to miss, so here is my take on the 1 hour fitting for a Qi35 driver at Clubhouse, Warrington
Adam the Taylor Made fitter, took great care and attention to my swing results, making gradual but significant improvements with the end result in a more consistent ball flight, better dispersion and over 25 yards increase in distance. It seems a lot but considering my Qi10 shaft was hitting the ball with too much spin and high, it was good to know that Adam knew how to get maximum benefit for me. His technical knowledge, how to get the best out of my swing proved beyond doubt that it is so important to have clubs fitted professionally to maximise your capability.
To top it off, Alex who is one of the Taylor Made tour fitters made up my club the same day and I was able take it away with me. Such great service. The tour truck is amazing by the way.
As a 77 year old golfer, to be able to hit my driver 257 yards is no mean feat and I felt compelled to mention what a great experience it was and to the professional way my fitting was undertaken by Adam and Alex. I hope someone else can see the merit in having your clubs professionally fitted - it does make a big difference. Thank you Taylor Made for giving me this experience. It was worth every penny.
I purchased a set of custom fit TM Qi10…
I purchased a set of custom fit TM Qi10 irons from AG along with some other bits to get me started with golf. Total spend was around £1,700(ish).
The second time I hit the irons one of the heads came off. Not best pleased, but I’ve heard it does happen.
I returned the full set of irons to AG to be re-glued by TM as I had no confidence in them. During the many conversations I had with the team in the shop I was assured that I would be ‘looked after’ and a there was even talk of a free upgrade. That’s all it was though - talk. Nothing ever materialised.
My irons were returned to me after about 2 weeks with no apology and nothing by way of compensation or good will. I will not be buying from AG again anytime soon and my TM brand perception will be forever tainted.
Qi10 Max Driver / terrible after sales services / fobbed off
On new 10 month old Qi10 Max Driver, I've just noticed a slight approx 1 inch crack on the corner of the club face onto the crown, not noticeable at first sight but something was rattling around in the head after a great drive at the range.
I've taken it to my local club where purchased who have sent photos to Taylormade, only for them to come back and advise their 2 year warranty doesn't apply to this and it's user misuse as opposed to a manufacturer issue. Called them and a guy called Gary basically laughed down the phone at me and totally fobbed me off, 'it is what it is'. Warranty doesn't cover accidental damage, you wouldn't claim if you dropped your laptop in the car park.
Disgusting, I have everything Taylormade in my bag, including 7 major collection bags.
I asked if I can at least send it back for investigation and he fobbed me off on that too, stating there's no point as the photos say it all.
I hope the call was recorded for training purposes and this is being escalated as a serious complaint now, waiting on consumer enquiries to come back to me but have little to no expectation to provide a solution.
Offered 30 % off as a gesture of goodwill on a brand new driver, another £370.
Will remove this review if they offer a suitable solution.
Update 72 hours later - still no response whatsoever, not even an acknowledgment so emailed them again requesting this. Also filled the online complaints form which stipulates a response between 1-2 working days, I'm onto day 3 with zero response.
I purchased a full set of Stealth…
I purchased a full set of Stealth paying in excess if 2k with a bag two and a half years ago. So far 3 of the iron club heads have fallen off and 2 more look like they are heading that way. Taylormade claim its not a common fault and have offered me a box of balls as a gesture of goodwill. I will not buy Taylormade again.
