STAY AWAY Stealth 2 Plus Driver
STAY AWAY Stealth 2 Plus Driver
I bought this less than 18 months ago.
Used on the range.
Struck a normal drive (actually quite a decent one, 275 nice draw). Did not hit anything untoward, yet the back of the club absolutely exploded on to the range. I've never seen anything like it.
Terrible product. Waste of £500. Stay away!!!
I would add photo's here if trustpilot would let me
Waste of time and money
Waste of time and money.
Order a new £200 putter. Asked for shaft length, I entered a shaft length to account for the head of the putter. They sent a putter the entire length of the shaft I wanted. Leaving me with 32 inch putter rather than a 35 inch putter.
Emailed to raise concerns and they declined that they were in the wrong despite acknowledging the issue.
Gone through my credit card company to get a refund. Shambles. Won’t be buying from taylormade again.
Heads fly off
P790 five iron head decided to follow a ball out onto the range, completely snapped at the hosel from a normal shot.
Worst quality ever.
I bought the SIM2 Max driver
I bought the SIM2 Max driver. I have read so any reviews of the stealth drivers falling apart. Especially the face, so went for what I thought was the better option. However, after just over 2 years the base plate of the driver has fallen off. Buyers beware. Taylor Made do NOTHING past 2 years, even though the club is hardly used. DO NOT buy a TalyorMade driver, big money, poorly made
Nothing but Praise for Taylormade's…
Nothing but Praise for Taylormade's customer service.
Although, I have issues with the durability of both my stealth driver and my Qi10 driver, Talyormade have sent me a new driver head everytime I opened a warranty claim!
Love the company!

Do not buy anything from these clowns
Do not buy anything from these clowns, bought three of the sim max 2 back in feb 24, I took two of them back after one use at the range as paint had come off the top of the clubs both were exchanged and classed as a manufacturing defect by american golf and now 7 months down the line the exact same has happened with the replacement driver paint literally just flaking off the club, I've asked twice now to raise a complaint and they haven't and taylor made have rejected my warranty saying paint flaking from an untouched part of the club as wear and tear, The warranty is worth nothing, the clubs are crap and the after sales team are useless, Been forced to raise a case with the FCA now to get my money back, Unbelievable from such a well known company i will never touch another one of there items
Shockingly bad construction - avoid
2 years ago I bought a Stealth driver for my 15 year old son. After 12 months use the face popped off (which it seems is not uncommon).Took it back to American golf who replaced it under warranty for a Stealth 2. 12 months later the rear of the Stealth 2 has now cracked (along a join line adjacent to the weight). As it’s 1 month out of the original drivers 2 year warranty period, TaylorMade aren’t interested in the slightest. My son does have a very fast swing speed, but surely a driver should last longer than a year! I would strongly recommend not buying a TaylorMade driver.
Don’t bother
Don’t bother. Bought a new driver and lasted 3 weeks. The material used is very poor. Reached out to TaylorMade and waited 6 weeks to be told to do one.
Never buying another product from them ever again. Service is also shocking
3 year old clubs breaking…
I bought an entire set of TaylorMade golf clubs 3 years ago after a custom fitting at our local golf club. Last year the head flew off the shaft of one club and in this instance, as the clubs were still just in warranty, the club was replaced. This year the same has happened with two other clubs within a week of each other. TaylorMade will not replace them and told me that the clubs must be too soft for me. Given they were a custom fit, I play a couple of times per month and I am a middle aged woman who can hit the ball firmly but certainly not hard, I find this hard to believe. I am really disappointed in their response and mistakenly thought they might be more interested in resolving my issue. would definitely not recommend them to anybody. I am now really nervous that more of my clubs will break and I wasted £1500.
Customer service did not help me out…
Customer service did not help me out with the Sim 2 driver, the crown of the driver popped off after 2yrs & 6 months. They only warranty it for 2 yrs. What a joke. They only offered me 30% off a new one, I really won’t trust another one. I really would buy something else.
Customer service is not that great.
Very poor customer care. Buy a different brand
Bought the Tour Z putter for £300. Used for a few months and during the normal course of play (holding the flag stick and putter in the same hand) banged the face of the putter and chipped a piece out near the centre. Didn't think the face would be so soft that a soft bang would chip it and render useless. Contacted the E-commerce Service Executive team and was told there was nothing they could do. Cant repair and wouldn't replace as they deemed the damage was outside the warranty. The amount of money spent on TaylorMade golf equipment over the years and this is how they treat their customers. Very disappointing, wont choose TaylorMade again.
Broken Stealth driver can't be…
Broken Stealth driver can't be replaced.
I reached out to the live agent chat for some help replacing a broken Taylormade driver. I have long been a Taylormade fan and I had the stealth irons, 3 wood, and hybrids and loved them. I was so excited to get my hands on a used Taylormade driver after all these years but unfortunately, I broke it within the first week of having it. I reached out to Taylormade to see if they could help me, stating my love for their products, but they couldn't do anything without the original receipt on a product that came out almost 3 years ago. Needless to say, I sold all my Taylormade clubs and am now switching my entire bag over to Cobra products. If the company won't work with me to replace a popular product like their Stealth Driver, who knows what else they'll find reasons to not replace.
Bought a new set of Qi HL Wedges from…
Bought a new set of Qi HL Wedges from TaylorMade and when I did my custom order I asked the representative in the chat how the "Stock" irons come and they stated it comes as shown in the ad on their website. So I purchased them. Come to find out, it has none of the logo's or "Divets" under the heads. Completely plain wedges. I reached out to get this rectified and they said "We don't keep track of the livechat conversations". How can you allow representatives the ability to say whatever they want during a sale and nothing can be brought up when there's an issue with the order. Garbage customer service and will be telling anyone who looks at taylormade to look at another brand.
Husband got the P790 not fit for…
Husband got the P790 not fit for purpose. Faces have collapsed also several rusted not used 100 times yet. well looked after but Taylor made think it acceptable to spend a thousand pound and clubs to be discarded. Completely dissatisfied. England golf states clubs should last 3 years Or 300 hundred games not done either. Refuse to look at clubs stated he could buy another set for half price. Why would you. They brought another set out now probably to replace the faulty inferior ones
My 1st hole in one
I bought your new qi irons this spring, love them. I got my first hole in one of my life at Blackstone Golf course in Morango IL. It was also the best round of my life, shot a 79. My name is Scott israelson. thanks 😊
Bag from American Golf was crap.
When i bought this bag from American Golf, i asked if they had fixed the problem with the Zips breaking. I was told they had no complaints whatsoever. So i bought the bag and just over 1 year later and 10 games one of the zips has gone. This give the customer a bad feeling about the company and a distrust which i wish i knew before a week previously spent a further £600+ on the same manufacturor. I will not be stupid enough to do this again. So be warned taylormade washed their hands if it saying it should have been brought to our attention before a year was up. If the know there is an issue with these zips it should not be on sale.
Purchased a TaylorMade golf carry bag…
Purchased a TaylorMade golf carry bag and after just over a year of moderate use, the stitching has come apart where the handles meet the bag making it unusable. The stitching is clearly not strong enough. As the bag is just over a year old, TaylorMade (via the stockist) have refused an exchange or repair as out of the year warranty. Poor quality and poor customer service.
AVOID! Break extremely easily
I have had three Taylormade drivers break in the last 18 months. The durability is extremely poor. I had an issue with getting a replacement under warranty as the supplier I purchased from had no more in stock and also wouldn't issue a refund. Taylormade did absolutely nothing to help. I will never buy a Taylormade product again!
Ordered a golf club next day air
Ordered a golf club next day air. 9 days later still haven't received my order. Don't buy anything from TaylorMade.
