It’s terrible!!

It’s terrible!!! I was going home with my boyfriend and in taxi he lost his phone so we immediately called the phone and taxi driver answered it and asked us -how much we are going to pay him to give us our phone - I just told him if he does bring us back our phone back that I’m gonna have to call police and file a complaint against him for theft, only then he came back and we still ended up paying him some money for the phone !!!!! Do not drive with them it’s disgraceful taxi service!!!!!

Scammer tca

I booked a ride through the TCA app from Nieuwmarkt, Amsterdam to Schiphol Airport for €57. However, upon arrival at the airport, the driver charged me €110. He also marked my booking as a “no-show,” presumably to increase the fare, and insisted on being paid in cash.

The taxi’s number plate was T-227-RP, a Mercedes-Benz from Tigris Taxi.

I hope TCA will take appropriate action regarding this driver.

Truly terrible. Cancelled our taxi, didn't tell us, almost missed train.

Truly terrible.
We booked a taxi the day before our trip. We needed to be at Centraal Station for an early train. TCA accepted our booking. The next morning, the app showed "on its way"
It did not turn up. When we rang, and eventually got through to someone, they said the driver had cancelled. I asked why they did not let us know - they said they did not know.

I asked why they did not auto-rebook with another driver - they said they did not know.

I asked when the replacement taxi would arrive - they said they did not know.

We were desperately short of time now - I asked what our options were - they said they did not know.

We got an uber and got there on time - just about.

Everything about TCA is awful.

Update after they replied below. I already tried to complain by phone, the person told me this wasn't possible. What more do you need to know? We booked a cab to catch an early morning train, the driver cancelled but you neither told us not replaced the booking. If we had relied on you we would have missed a train and ruined our holiday.

Coming from the hospital

Coming from the hospital after serious surgery, my wife ordered a taxi from TCA. Considering the obstacles in the city due to the " knip Weesperstraat" they told the driver to drive via Ring Noord en Ijtunnel, but the driver did not do this and dropped my wife off, 700 meters from her house. he charged 60 euros.
But the worst is that the complaints department of TCA did not even reply in a meaningful way to our complaint, and thought the driver was very helpful. Very disappointing experience with TCA.

Use public transport as they will rip you off

Used this company twice whist in the city & was ripped off both times, 90 euros from the airport to Quentin Zoo Hotel & the 30 euros for a journey that should of been 4.2km, got all the proof together & emailed company & did not even receive a apology, they condone their drivers ripping off tourist!!

Excellent customer service!

Excellent customer service!

I had an expensive ride from the airport to the city of Amsterdam, where I’ve been charged more than expected (and turns out more than I should have), reaching a price of 90€! I told the driver that I never paid that much, on which he said “no. Is normal. It’s another route. We are on the west of Amsterdam” etc.

Long story short, I filed a complaint.
The company picked this up immediately, had an interview and training with the driver, while said they will note such things down.

They refunded me the difference, and sanctioned the driver, according to the company’s standards and values protocols.

Nonetheless, very professional customer support, both via email and Twitter.
I definitely recommend them, and I’ll be using them again!
